  1. It was simply amazing. It put every live psy act to absolute shame. When he went back to playing synths etc. and 4 vinyls all mashed perfectly together with 606, 808 & 909 by one man it made me think how pathetic click & play Ableton sets in this scene are.
  2. I actually admit to making it all up in the hopes that my complete bullsh*t would drag out someone who knew the truth. Thanks for the info & look forward to hearing his track on Tribal Encore Sorry if my post caused any upset, if so it was unintentional.
  3. Amazing movie based on this comic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Dies_at_the_End
  4. The grapevine suggests he is still into modular but is doing more glitch hop & techno where money is. He has more than enough for 5 albums of psychedelic electronica but no label is keen as his is deems too experimental & intense. What a silly scene this can be.
  5. Best Suntrip release to date, sadly I have found many of this labels releases lacking any real depth of emotion. I mean, Temple Of Chaos was very much falsely advertised as acidic & a bit darker in style but I heard none of that compared to say Global Sect or Hado releases. I have bought every CD to date from Suntrip, because I support this site & respect Mars and Anoebis as both music entities and people but this release I came so close to not buying as I was sure to be disappointed again. I must say my faith was rewarded as its quite good. I await a release from Suntrip that will make me go "this is amazing". Filteria Daze Of Our Lives came close as well. Keen to here the new Filteria for sure. Good luck, I'll keep buying for now.
  6. I adore their 3 minimal albums more than any. But hey when my bro loans me his 808 & 909 I can sit for hours of drum beats with no other sounds added. Saw Jeff Mills do 909 solo in Japan years ago, 2 hours of nothing but 909 & it absolutely rocked!! I voted for 7 sisters. It's like forcing scat on your fans. What a waste.

  8. I just ordered all 3 Mysteries Of Psytrance. Not keen on albums, I like variety in compilations. An artist has to be pretty amazing to make me sit through an entire album. Sensient for example.
  9. Joti Sidhu & Psykovsky (it could just be called Psychaos or Psychaovsky) The Delta & M.O.S. ( The MOSsy Delta) Sandman & Xenomorph (SandMorph) Space Tribe & Total Eclipse (Total Space) Electric Universe & Oforia (Electric Oforia) Pigs In Space & BLT (Pigs In Space Eating BLT) E-Mantra & Ishq (E-Shq) Space Tribe In Dub (Ott)
  10. Kicking back in Port Douglas, Australia. Start of two week holidays in the sun with my li'l son & wifey. He's asleep so time for some headphones & an early morning beer
  11. Brand new copies of Goa-Head Vol. 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29. Now I've got the entire series as well as Tanteance & Pulse which I'd lost years ago. I have brand new sealed copies of all Global Psychedellic Trance & Global Psychedelic Chill Out on the way as well. Lost all of mine over the years so is a real pleasure to have them back.
  12. I've not got anything from him except a few compilation tracks but am keen to get all the Mysteries Of Psytrance as I've heard positive stuff about them & the covers have a feel to them like the old Tantrance CDs lol.
  13. Absolutely amazing. It's IMO better than the forest chill cd from Dark Prisma & I much prefer unmixed like this. I've donated to the label for this, in the hope more my be forthcoming & one day a nice cd from them
  14. Subsonic for sure is his best. The track "Family" brings tears of pure joy to my eyes every time.
  15. Definitely enjoy Kamino & Osom. Noise Poison have a new digital compilation out but at 20 Euro for digital only they can go to hell.
  16. He's making lots of money hopefully so why stop? It's better than being broke making music for cheap hippies who never pay for it. I have been doing the same since inspect most of the 90's making & dj'ing psy in Australia. Terrible scene the way punters & promoters & labels great the artists. Compared to techno, prog house & even hard style it's no wonder many ppl I know has become so disillusioned with the psy scene & are happily moving in to other areas. Even some of the classic names I know are moving in to the techno/prog scene because they are sick of decades of being shat on by the psy/Goa scene. I'm only here because I love the music. I will have nothing to do with gigs or labels. It's a big joke this scene. Every other person in the electronica world just laughs at us. I had a good chat with friends from the other good EDM genres, and they just really laugh hard at how sad this scene has become when it had such opportunity late 90's to early '00s to develope into something very special.
  17. Any info like BPM or track length? I'll buy it anyway just curious. Virtuart is very nice from back then.
  18. It's not surprising. I was making psy years ago with no gigs or money. Around 2008 I switched to making music I dislike like hard style, electro house & commercial drum n bass. It's not what I like making but now I get loads of local gigs that actually pay enough so I don't need a day job. Instead I get to look after my son at home (no day care) & play n dance at night with drunk 18-22 year olds lol. Much more fun than a normal job. It also does help of course my wife runs her own successful interior design business.
  19. Sorry not Infect Insect. I meant Intact Instinct.
  20. lol really? You need to read a book to know that? I remeber acid house in the late 80's and the amount of stuff going down my gullet was insane by anyone's standards! The worst was when you woke up sore next to some bloke only to realize that you'd done under the influence what no straight man shoulda done but seeing as most the good stuff was played at exclusive gay venues back then it was a risk lol. What I was saying was to make music based for a single drug & the expected fx of said drug is very very silly. One persons experience is never the same as another persons. I've taken about everything there's been legal or not, and I'd never do something expecting the same outcome or experience. That's very limiting and will earn you a bad burn out eventually. For example I did some naturally stuff while listening to a bunch of Infect Insect tunes & had the most enlightening experience ever whereas my mate who was doing the same had a nightmare of a journey & wasn't quite the same for a year or two. It's all about you & you're perspective, nothing to do with trying to make others experience it.
  21. lol. I haven't touched drugs since '98 and I've loved the dark psy movement. Making music for a certain drug? No wonder this scene is going to the dogs if that's whats happening!!
  22. Yeah most under psy trance is rubbish for the last half decade IMO. Especially the "prog" stuff on Iono, Blue Tunes etc. the quality is wonderful sound wise but give me the early '00 minimal & prog styles any day. Especially the likes of Son Kite, Intact Instinct, The Delta, COP etc.
