  1. I thought you were a man of taste... PM sent.
  2. "Quirk Pharmasonics Inc. want you to enjoy this product. If you are not entirely satisfied with it, please return it with the packaging to the Consumer Services Manager at the address below saying when and where purchased." On the sleeve of Quirk's Quality Control. I'm very happy they control the quality of their products. This item just didn't meet the expectations that Quirk brand was formerly known of. What was the Product Development Unit thinking? "Machina Electrica & Fornax Chemica" was the most splendid piece of psy-sci-fi-techno. You know what they say about brands: If it ain't broke, don't fix it! At first I thought to use this cd as a frisbee, but perhaps a better idea would be to return this piece of plastic wrongly used to the Consumer Service Manager. I tried sending this to the address given, but the package returned to my home. Help me locate CSM of Quirk please?
  3. goa-stuff: mwnn - teleportation & jeff mk-ultra - psychedelic life both are pretty fantastic
  4. listening thu... Ololiuqui's Ololiuqui, the deput album. I've gone thru this album more times my math skills allow me to count! It's great example of the daring line Spirit Zone had in the days; psychedelic techno with such tongue in cheek groove you gotta get moving, if not, get one ov those things in ye ear that allow you to HEAR. Right now it's the track Swampin. Rocking at 145 beats, it really can do some damage on the dancefloor, even now. Some stuff never fails. thx Ololiuqui <3 hear em if you didn't already ;-)
  5. 11 years... yeah that shows. mate if you have msn plz add me I'm canyonkalle@hotmail.com
  6. One of the best goa mixes I've had the fortune to hear, congrats. I enjoyed very much tracks from 1-7. I didn't really remember the Total Eclipse track and others were unknown. To my nice surprise the tunes really rocked big time! Especially I was happy to hear that Polyploid track which was more tribal techno-ish piece, really oustanding. Hallucinogen and Moonweed tracks continued a good run. Having heard all those etnica/crop circles/pleiadians tracks so many times I kinda lost my interest there thou. I was also wondering why put the low energy astral way and (more or less also) time traveller of trance after lunar civilization? Plus something really weird happened while lunar civilization was playing (@ 1 hour appr). Needle jumped? Time Traveller of Trance didn't sound as outstanding as I remembered, or perhaps I confused it with "time traveller". The end of the mix wasn't as good as the start, which sounded so fresh with those unknown tunes. Good picks mate. All in all mixing was quite top notch, the tracks blended into each other quite effortlessly, if you can say that (as it of course takes skiiillz to do that ). You've spinned for some time I would guess. I'd rate this mix prolly around 8/10. thanks for sharing. <3
  7. I quite doubt there is. Sure some albums reach almost impeccable heights in terms of uniqueness and quality, but even then I always can point out a track I find a little better. A track I would prefer to hear, let's say in a party. You can't point out a better track if the piece is perfection. Everything must be absolutely equal.
  8. sellane nallen tai sandelsin mäykkä ni levy on herran ^^ jos saat jostai vaiks 8 egel sen mäykän ni sun voitto heitä mulle PM mis budjaat ja tsiigataa millo pygeis tällää...

  10. added "electric byron bay" which I found on Konemetsä festival...
  11. I can only say get this album. The track variety is enormous, it's more laidback and breakbeat album than the last album together with Haltya (Forest Flavour). for dancin, chillin, trippin and flippin. recommended
  12. www.aavepyora.net is all you need to feel optimistic.
  13. All I can say is... if you can't bother with the tracklist I can't bother downloading.
  14. For once I see a really interesting tracklist. Too bad I can't download it. :/ The 5 last tracks need no introduction - all I can say is that the Patroller dude seems to have close to perfect goa taste nodules.
  15. Saw Koxbox 2 days ago, sounded much better than I had in mind. Might've been booze, the forest and beautiful girls that tricked me thou...
  16. I haven't had change to go through too many albums unfortunately, but... Outolintu - Odd Man Out e. Vibrasphere's new on is quite a corker too, eh?

No problemos, Fede. I think there's still some way to go before you reach the skill where noticing track change becomes impossible. Good music always makes up for it thou. I'm sorry but I think I'll skip the Blue Moon mix as I don't really enjoy D5/Ra/etc sound at all. It wouldn't be fair to give a rating in the first place. But I'll do one for you as soon as I see you posting a mix with a tracklist that tickles my ears. ;o)
  18. Aavepyörä & Simon Posford Booka Shade & Outolintu Monolake & Sarah Connor Ricardo Villalobos & Autechre Carl A. Finlow & Basic Channel ...for example. I tried to pick artists that are really different so what they might sound together would be surprising.

Quite nice. Few of the tracks are really good, especially Amanite FX, Raia and Motor Mouse, which I hadn't heard before so it really came as a pleasant surprise. The early Shiva Chandra sound was maginificent. The mixing is technically alright, it's not easy to make goa tracks blend into each other. Thou some transitions frankly hurt my ear as the contrast between tracks is so drastic. I'm talking about amanite fx (melodious morning tune) -> ect (dark fx trickery) and the same would go for subcouds -> xenomorph. I found xenomorph and especially labyrinth track not fitting the mood of the mix. Labyrinth track was actually pretty boring. I enjoyed the transition of raia -> encens as the tracks share similar soundscapes and glue together nicely. Also the ambientish transition from encens -> motor mouse was good. It's nice to see a dj having skill to make different solutions when changing from track to track. The best transition was definitely motor mouse - miranda! the ending of motor mouse is very hypnotic as the melody repeats itself many times and miranda really fitted as the next track. You also played the tracks longer simultaneously and the change of track was almost insensible. I would say the mixing was ok, track selection good, flow quite average. So I would give this mix a grade of 6/10. thanks for sharing.
  20. 20 yrs ago house was nothing like today. It was funny, sexy, daring, used lots of samples and had the bestest basslines ever. here's a link to discogs where you can check the track out. It blends harmoniously great female voice and moog synth. And the bassline, mm'yea.
  21. Let's go 20 years back and dig out a classic house track... krush - house arrest (the beat is the law)
  22. comps: Air Born - Really great tracklist on this one. Especially all the Sean Williams' tracks are very well crafted. Koxbox's remix of Slinky is very accessible and melodic, good rework I would say. Then BPC hits with their perhaps most goa-nish track to date, quite simple but well made. Do I even have to mention Slinky's remix of James Bond theme must be one of the best rmxes...ever? Only Darshan and SUNE are below par. albums: Green Nuns - Rock Bitch Mafia - Oh the 303 trickery! You're bound to go mental listening to this. Every track is great and that can't be said about many albums. The samples are all wacko and the explosion after "prepare to hurtle through the cosmos!" is one of the most captivating moments I've heard in goa trance.
  23. It's easier and faster to give me money. I'm lazy, but not that lazy I wouldn't walk to the nearest mall to buy some of dat bearish good... So send me money already I'm starving (to get drunk).
  24. the postage to send a beer case? opening the beer after it has been "carefully treated" in the post office? :clapping: And hey, I have every reason to brag about beer bear
