  1. I've been listening to this more than usual since I got it, but not because it's good, but to try to convince myself it was worth the €20 I spent on it. Normally these day I never spend all that money for a new (i.e. just released) disc which personally I only bought since they are after all one of my favourite acts ever, like many. 2 discs - 160 minutes which could have been compressed in one disc and still leaving it's share of mediocre tracks. This already messed up world didn't need to hear most of these refuckedworked tracks. They have added no benefit.
  2. The release is solid but nothing to scream about. It has become more notorious for it's scarcity due to awful story than for the music. Get the free download released a few years before - hate to say it but it's better.
  3. That's because their remix has done so much success that it's more known as an X-dream track than Erection's probably.
  4. Got this some days ago. It's indeed one of the most overrated albums. Best track (or should I say the only good track?!) is obviously the last one and is conveniently available on the Boyd in the Void CD. Track 4 has indeed what seems a cat meowing. It was recorded in '94 so a bit of sympathy and appreciation goes for that, but still, this is way to blown historically speaking.
  5. Probably, because the market is over-saturated.
  6. One of the best albums ever if you ask me. Never bothered about the sound issues actually; they are clearly audible on the last track in the busiest parts of the track but never annoyed me.
  7. Wow basically you're selling whole label catalogs! I wonder what price you would accept and how much the shipping will cost if you sell them as a lot.
  8. I think antic is still recovering from his 'digital only' switch
  9. It's €18 for double digipak plus €7 for shipping to my country; think I wait psyshop or another source...
  10. I judged the book by the cover; read the remix artists and assumed mostly full-on. But maybe not.
  11. This, because it was never reissued in any form. Some are mentioning IFO; the original went down in price because of the reissue. Others mentioned the Green Nuns - that has gone down in price too 'recently'. Look at amazon
  12. Once I sent a message to Gilbert on Facebook re a certain track he did (actually questioning if a track on a particular trance compilation was by him or not since the artist name was like one of his aliases) and didn't reply - even though he saw the message.
  13. Will probably buy, even though a couple of tracks seem like 'modern' psy which I don't like.
  14. Compilations of the 90's are another story. Your example is something far from essential; all tracks are easily available on other humanly priced CDs. I have an illegal download of that
  15. It's a quick buck these days repolishing your old goa roots; veteran artists have learnt it since long.
  16. This series was not a 100% Goa one; so if you were expecting that, ie Goa all through; you'll be disappointed. I don't have this however tracklist doesn't look that bad. Let's say that the series matured into more polished trance by the time the last volume was released in 1998.
  17. Yes mastering here is atrocious.
  18. This is what I missed in the 2 months that I have not logged in here. The discussions, not the release itself.
