Post the most powerful-super intense Goa tracks
Goa-Head replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
So why did you start another thread? -
TIP started in 1994 and set the standard for the proper old crusty raw acid washed goa trance. It ended in 1998 and just before it's winding up it gave us a hint of psy breaks with synchro and snake thing. On the other hand blue room started just a few months after TIP and in the beginning was also pure old crusty goa trance but more refined. As early as 1997 the label started exploring musical territories no goa label dared before - breaks, idm, techno, non-goa trance and non-goa downtempo. Just watch all those CDs from 1998 to it's end in early 2001 - all but goa, all but the same artist, all but the same musical concept. I have them all. I vote for blue room, which is my favourite uk label together with TIP and dragonfly.

Paradise Connection (aka Boris Blenn) - Source Of Emotion Pleiadians - Seven Sisters (the track from the 1999 album of course!) Cosmix & Kristian (aka Elysium) – The Vision (a bit faster but still on the chill side, though like tracks 1 and 2 they it's danceable) I have other favourite probably mostly unknown songs, will post later.

anyone know what this music style is called?
Goa-Head replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in Other Electronica
Looks like Electro-electro-House with a slowed down hardstyle beat. -
@36 my CD buying habit is going from obsession to ultra-obsession When they stop releasing new music on CD but only digitally I'll have to deal with it.

Updated, see 1st post.

Still available... ...for any of the 4CDs mentioned above...

Time Dilation is an underrated classic, probably because it was only released on that matsuri compilation. And the rest of the CD is at worst very good.

Just listened Eclipse on Twisted Records (1998) the first time. Got it yesterday.

Zion 604 | VA - Phoenix ( 2013 ) Pre - Sale
Goa-Head replied to ZIon604's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Can't believe the effort in compiling side A. Way to go zion ! -
Since after my review, when people discovered there's an exclusive (terrific) Etnica track and another exclusive (but not to scream about) Total Eclipse track. Before it would sell for €15.

Is that HardTechno? I thought you meant schranzlike techno.

VA - Goa Trance Revolution (2013)
Goa-Head replied to Goa-Trance.com's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Bought it too, since it's a CD and not CDr. -

Yeah this is a strange release if you consider when it was released and the label released upon. But Cwithe was never a 100% Goa act, like most (all?) other Dutch artists of the time. Skip this and listen to their album Route 303 under the Acid Lab alias. That said I still enjoy this one but probably because I like the normal Trance sounds of the 90's because a good album is certainly not.
