  1. I have a few stickers I found in old unsealed Nitzhonot copies! Of course I never used them anywhere, would be a shame to spill them... *Holymen - Nitzh O Not sticker *Iceman - Turbulent sticker *Trivia - Speed Of Sound sticker There's also a Cyan - Braindance sticker, but I lost that one Scans can be provided if wished : p
  2. Hey man, thanks for your clarifications there! Still, the remaining issue stays for now: is newschool goa all about those oriental influences, or not? I really think it's not! Just remember picking up my first newschool CD (Apsara) and plugging it in...there was only one track that gave me those oriental "chills", namely the Lost Buddha tune. None of the other came even remotely close to that kind of melody usage, in my opinion... Happy to hear more opinions on this!
  3. 1) Nitzho-goa as a term was only invented in 2009 although you could indeed categorize some music into that subgenre dating from before the actual term (like, er...Cyber Planet, or my own album from 2008?), I think it would be a bridge too far to classify the whole greek and israeli 95-99 scene as Nitzho-Goa...even if by that you only mean artists such as Shidapu, Mystica, Psycho Meditation, Kalium, etc...and not the likes of MFG, Astral etc. 2) Although I recognize there's a whole lot of Belly dance and/or superoriental Nitzhonot out there, I think it's just plain wrong to classify the music as such. It's hyper-melodical, not necessarily hyper-arabic (or whatever)...check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDMXHRbPiGI or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fru7TZ3b93. Are these relying on arabic scales? No! Are they classified as Nitzhonot? Yes! My point would be, saying that Nitzhonot is the cause of all new Goa sounding oriental, is just not right! :/ 3) More importantly, I do not agree with the idea of (quite) some people that new Goa is mostly, or always, oriental-sounding. E-mantra? Artifact303? Afgin? Filteria(post2010)? Space Elves? Aerosis? Merr0w? Crossing Mind? Almost anything from Cronomi? List could go on... IMO there isn't even enough of the hyper oriental stuff out there! 4) If there was something that really got me hooked to Goa trance, I mean oldschool Goa, back when newschool didn't really exist yet, it were the oriental melodies...Lepton Head (Deedrah remix), Vimana, last melody in Lunar Civlization track, etc, you know, that's the stuff that will always stay hooked in my mind
  4. The underneath statement doesn't have to be true . For Sita Records I decided to press in limited numbers from the start (500 CD's and 300 CD's), and they are distributed in all the shops! I guess it depends on the pressing company and distributor you use...

  9. I personally really enjoy the colourfulness and spacey-ness of the cover (wait til you see the inlay etc...mmm sweetness!). Straydogs, thanx for your remark!! Feel free to leave a review in the appropriate topic, it's flattering to hear ^^ All of you, thanx for your interest in Sita, and I really think JBC Arkadii deserves to be released in a full album! Not only is his style really well-sounding and professional, but his melodies are so sweet oriental...definetely a Nitzhogoa artist imo! FYI, the release will also be distributed in mp3 and wav, of course!

    Syndrome - Cold Fusion

Hey bro, thanks for the compliment about my music, really apreciated!!! However, I'm dead serious when I say that albums like this one are the main source of inspiration for all my music!! Not to say I don't like and/or listen 'regular' Goa Trance, but to me Nitzhonot (i.e. the quality Nitzho, of course) is like an ameliorated form of most Goa, leaving out all the burdening and unnecessary parts, and focusing on those neverending melodies and powerful kicks! How can I explain myself? It's really a matter of taste, and I know I stand alone in my opinion against 99,999999999% of the rest of the world and 99,9999% of the psychedelic fans, that's for sure... . However, maybe I could draw your attention to a few points: -listen how often and many times the kick and percussion changes from track to track, and compare it to most goa trance and you'll find a world of difference...way more variation in here! -after each 16 beats, a new melody or change seems to bump its way in...it's of course very untrancy and unhypnotizing, but it adds so much surprises and climaxes! -so many rhytmic changes in each track, again way more often than in most goa...buildups, triplet parts, kickrolls everywhere,... Maybe Nitzho is to Goa what B-movies are to 'quality' movies. More gimmicks, less professionalism, but sooo much spontaneous enthusiasm ! That's enough for an explanation, I hope...

    Syndrome - Cold Fusion

This is a really good Nitzhonot CD, but of course you can't expect much praise for this gem on a forum like this ...most people don't know a lot about this style! Anyhow, the music has darker tendencies and there's a good bunch of tweaking and layering to be found on here, packed with a wide variety of booming kicks and percussion. Speaking from a purely melodic point of view, there were better Nitzhonot artists around (depending on your taste I'd say Trivia, Luminus, Iceman, etc) but none of them come even close to the darker and strange moods created in these tracks. Think Alien. Think horror movies. Think sci-fi b-movies. Think it all together now! My personal favorites would be: 4. Brain Friction (What a badass kick!!) 7. Fortune Teller (A bit lighter in mood, but awesome for parties, with lots of variations and pretty tight sound) 8. Mantra (Rough, powerful, hard!) 9. Killer Apes (Outstanding track with awesome acidic sounds and a really deep kick) Recommended. 8/10
  13. My preferred tracks: Alienapia, Hypnotic Signal Skarma! Most of the rest is way too floating for me....good production for sure, but not my style! PS: I bought it
  14. Posted two extra CD's I'll take I'm in for some German Trance and Rave!!

  19. Updates updates updates! It's out NOW! Buy mp3/wav at http://www.junodownload.com/products/jbc-arkadii-sounds-from-tomorrow/2193093-02/ Buy CD at http://www.beatspace.com/7508/Sita+Records/JBC+ARKADII/Sounds+From+Tomorrow/detail.aspx Sita Rec dives into spring season with the long-awaited debut album of one of their most prosperous and uprising inhouse artists, JBC Arkadii. Hailing from the faraway realms of Ussuriysk, Russia, situated on the crossroad between eastern and western influences, Arkadii Tronets gathered his inspiration to craft a unique style of Nitzhogoa, with a finely tuned ear for production quality. This ultimately resulted in "Sounds From Tomorrow", an anthology of his most melodic and memorable tracks he patiently wrote during the past years. So tune in, buckle up and prepare yourself for a flight into deep space, towards a new home of ever-expanding universes and never-fading stars.
  20. Exactly ur comment is appreciated nevertheless!!!
  21. hey guys! post ur comments in the review section if U'd like, and thanks for checking out! Personally I really love his style, it's an album that grew on me, but imho you should have checked him playing on the dancefloor to fully comprehend the impact of his music...I've never ever seen a dancefloor NOT going wild on his sets. Never!
  22. Not professional, just very messy
  23. Render it from a PC/laptop with enough memory, that should do the trick!... Basically all my tracks have over 300 patterns and I never had any problems with them, so probably your laptop isn't so strong (I'm using a not-so-special Toshiba laptop) or you use a lot of cpu-eating VST's...
