this kind of discussion is so superfluous... stop mourning the old days already. pull off your energy of ranting about what the scene has become, and stand up for what you think it should be like. use your powers to promote those that are worth it in your opinion, instead of using all your energy on crying after those two blokes. i mean, for chrissake!

damn it mate! those were THE years. 1998 - 2002. MY music. i so miss it. linear oompa oompa basslines, without any "groovy" touch, psychedelic to the bone... also check out Segment. their album is imo the top notch of darkish psychedelic prog trance, together with Zerotonine - Cygnus Loops.

i finally know mine as well: shakta & moonweed - micronesia. ftw. it's a very personal thing indeed: this was the tune that really got me into it, but i only got to know the name a few weeks ago or so (thanks again to anoebis for suggesting it ) this tune downright embodies what goa is to me; it has THE goa atmosphere...darkish, spacey, alien, melancholic...feels like hovering through the milky way, all encapsulated in my tiny spacecraft with transparent walls, nothing else around me than the beauty of the universe. it sounds like god speaking, "yeah buddy, i'm here".

true. i feel my decreasement of dancing hours linked to this. in order to dance i need my mind to wander around above me or somehippiething. i can't dance when i've got my brains all there where i am.

usually some indie rock while showering, singing along etc:) then, on the way to school, some minimal techno / techhouse.

3/4 of so called psytrance ain't psychedelic...i got used to it. so, donkey trance ain't the only problem. somehow this looks more like a hippo to me, not like a donkey (the two before got it as such as well).

i'm not into the rasta vibe at all, but i bought the first album nevertheless. no idea why though. i like it more decently dubbish.
