  1. I am a long time user of the Bose Soundlink. Portable, at least 8 hours speaker life (using Bluetooth and at a decent volume, I usually get around 16 hours from a charge at lower volumes) it has Bluetooth but it also has AUX input. Most importantly it sounds great even when you turn it up to full volume. For a portable speaker I couldn't recommend anything over this. I tried a few and this blew them all out of the water. http://bestbluetoothspeakersreviews.net/bose-soundlink-review/ There is also a newer, more compact version available that I haven't bought yet. However I heard that the sound is almost as impressive as the soundlink proper and it's smaller and cheaper. I want to buy it but I am not allowed http://reviews.cnet.com/portable-speakers/bose-soundlink-mini/4505-11313_7-35781779.html
  2. Love Ishq Ever since I first listened to Orchid while sick, I've been in love with his sound. Very soft, floating, subtle. Easy to miss and it's not music for while you're busy and can sometimes take a while to get into but when it hits you it's sublime. From their natural ambient, rhythmic stuff like Orchid and ...and awake to his really chilled drones like with their Elve project and Voice From Home with Steve Brand, and the more spacey stuff like their Ishvara project and Deep Space objects it's all just really immersive. Recently I got both Ishqamatics albums Earthbound and Spacebound which sound excellent and this week I got the latest under the Ishq name, The Invisible Landscape which is natural sounding drone ambient, somewhat like Elve, and Zennor Plane which is quite experimental using a lot of guitars. I've not had time to properly listen to either of these yet though I am sure they'll be great because it's Ishq All such wonderful music
  3. is it the same zentrix as here http://www.ektoplazm.com/artist/zentrix if so check out the comps and see if there's similar stuff. I didn't hear the track as I am on the train sorry.
  4. That sounds really nice. Looking forward to this release
  5. So much awesome in on gif
  6. I think that it is very good, but I am not as into it as I was the first wave of Goa. The releases don't sound the same to me as the ones I heard I the mid to late 90s. But that was when I first got into the music. When anyone first discovers a genre that they love, it's what they first hear that will stay with them longest and be the best so even though there are some excellent newer releases I cannot say the scene is excellent for me. Saying that, there are some essential releases that have come in the last 10 years The two Jikkenteki albums, Filteria - Daze of our lives, Tomlin - Spectrogram to name a few. I have no idea what I would change. I'd love to come into the genre fresh and hear the newer releases first with fresh ears not comparing them to old school stuff. Unfortunately I don't think that's possible.
  7. Prometheus - Corridor of Mirrors
  8. VA - Musical Discordia
  9. I've also not heard it, or the second one yet. Not got as much purchasing power as I used to have and need to limit or pace my purchases. Should get number 2 while it's still available I suppose.
  10. Solar Fields Carbon Based Lifeforms Seb Taylor Gus Till Anthony Paul Kerby Ishq/Matt Hillier In my opinion always manage to put out something between very good and mind-blowingly good. They're all instant buys for me even when I am trying to save, I got a stern look from the missus when the latest Ishq arrived this morning.
  11. Ultraviolet Catastrophe I found to be excellent, best Space Tribe by far but that might be because it came at the end of Black Rhino adding to adds really dark overtones. For me, Planet BEN, peaked with Silver then went totally off the boil. Although he included a rerelease of Trippy Future Garden with his Test album: there needed to be some reason to buy it
  12. Love Hybrid, the mix of Finished Symphony at the end of Northern Exposure 2 is one of the greatest tracks I have ever heard of any genre. Must check this out.
  13. VA - Accidental Occidentalise Darshan - Awakening I have the flac of Awakening but I love it so want the cd
  14. Deviant Species maybe? Nightmare trance
  15. Fiance moving in today. Bachelorhood is over...
  16. Honestly, downhill. But AYS was so good and TOTI a great follow up that it would have been too hard to live up to anyway but still they released them 3 more times so I really don't see why the excuse for not releasing Hallucinogen 3 is viable even when I agree with it
