To me all shpongle albums are psychedelic, just in different ways so to say. As I've said I like the first album the most, mainyl because of the usage of sounds and samples that sound natural and organic. (like waterdrops and similar stuff). I also like the world music stuff but nothing is as good as the first album imho.

Haven't heard the Halluciongeon rmx of Stimuly, on which CD or vinyl is it on?
-
Oh and there's another very good vinyl: http://www.discogs.com/release/26993 Infinity Project - Stimuli I really love their music. And the MWWN remix is also awesome if I remember right. Also need to dig that vinyl out tonight.

I'm more into their trance than their ambient stuff. Not because their ambient stuff is bad but because I prefere trance/psy/whatever over ambient in general. This just reminds me that I have this old Tip vinyl Infinity Project - Alien Aiport (this one http://www.discogs.com/release/12904) and it's really a great song. Haven't spun this vinyl for ages, gonna do it when I'm back home!

Green House Effect - The End Of The World Best song on the album... -
He didn't ask for goa but for psytrance in general, all styles. And btw just because it's not psychedelic for you doesn't mean a thing. It's the same as with taste in general, to each his own.

My god radi, how hard is it to understand that there are actually people outhere who enjoy listening to different styles?! Taste it taste and your behaviour would rather turn me away from old-school if I wouldn't allready know it. Besides that I doubt that CDs like Goahead 2 or 3 are still available at Saikosounds!!

Atma is from Romania?!?! I didn't know that... I asked a friend who has a huge MP3 collection about some new stuff I should check out (which CDs to buy I mean) and he really recommended me the Atma stuff. So it's on my to buy list, even when I haven't heard a single track by them... -
Yeah, listen to something completely different to get your head off the psytrance. There's no use in pushing it and ruining it in the end if you are tired of it at the moment. I also have phases when I'm not interested in listening anything psy or goa. I either switch to trance or to non-electronica stuff. Mainly rock or also hip-hop. This is the perfect balance for me.

Oh yes, I absolutely love this song, too! But spoken about the whole album, the first one is still the best.

I'm not that sure about it but I allways thought that progressive is not so much about which notes are used but about the general structures of the songs? -

Yes, it's the same act under a different name. I don't know if they've chanced it becuase of legal issues (tracks for another label) or because they changed their style also. -
I mean like buying an album of a local act even when it's not extra-hyper hot but only average? I try to support Swiss acts with buying CDs, even when I think the sound is ok but nothing too special. I mean there are very good Swiss acts (like FreakuliZer, Blue Vortex, Schädelleuchten) but I also appreciate the "regular" stuff (like the average comp by DJ Müstik or full-on like Rumble Pack) that gets released and try to buy it when I can. Sure, it's easy for me since Switzerland is rather small and doesn't have that many acts that get official releases. If you're from Germany for example buying all the stuff that gets released, would be nearly impossible... So, do you especially care for you national acts or not?
