  1. Hahaha sorry boys .. I see my topic isn't that clear I was looking for a DJ mixer! *edited the topic* =) Hope some of you still have suggestions left!
  2. Not even one of you who does have a little suggestion?
  3. the Senheiser's HD 25 is a great choice indeed.. for DJ'ing as well! Though I'm not really familiar with many other headphones, I've settled with the HD 25's and also really really happy with them.
  4. Hey audiowizzards around here! My current DJ-mixer l (JBsystems Classic three) is getting old.. lots of static and problems with the knobs so I've decided to buy a new one! But.. I'm not the most wealthy person around, and I'm looking to replace it with something that won't cost much, but has enough nice features to get a mix done nicely and is good enough for home-mixing! So if you know of any good low budget Dj-mixers.. (let's say max. 150 Euro's) Please give me any suggestions !
  5. Non Standards was one of my favourite albums that came out last year! great producers
  6. Nice cd's dude Like em both! Just arrived: TWISTED SYSTEM - CORE awesome album! check the review section for Death Postures audio-analyse
  7. This is a really really great CD Finally some real FULL ON ! no half work, this is the real deal.. I can Agree with Death Posture (great review dude) for most of the time! Though: If you love S.A Style (twilight) Psy,... this is your a-bomb! Will work wonders on the dancefloor, but also very suitable for homelistening if you are into these crazy melodic (and PHAT) layers of sound! It greates a wall of sound at times, huge soundscapes just like DP said, and I suggest everyone who's into hard heavy (dance-able) fully twisted grooves to check this out and yeah... the Starwars tune does rock IMO ! maybe a bit cheesy but I really like the melodie and they did it pretty well ! haha Only minor I can come up with now is that it isn't really "refreshingly new", but know a bit what to expect when Phyx,Rabdom-L and Shift Co-operate! But they managed to create a sound that really represents the best of them.. Awesome! I couldn't find a "filler" track.. every one of them has some strong moments! Though im not really into the MM remix Favorites (upon hearing the album for 3 times in a row) : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7
  8. In short, I'm not a graphic designer or something.. but it looks nice (though.. a bit cliche in my oppinion ) but nice enough! keep it up
  9. It's awfull Moni, quit the "bReEzAh" style as soooon as possible! (as we call it in the Netherlands ) np: Dimmu Borgir - Dødsferd
  10. I did not know that Then Scooter for sure got what they deserved. I am sure they wont do the same mistake again. Thanks for putting him into place Nemo, E.P thinks he's Mr. Know-it-all at times.. What I also was wondering about.. is a track from Dynamo called The Acid Daze.. they (Eskimo/Dynamic) use various melodies from other artists like Infected Mushroom.. did they get permission too? (though it was ment to be a tribute) How do the rules go for using other peoples creativity?
  11. Sometimes, yes.. but I don't think it should be done every time there's something 'unfair' in this world.
  12. Sueing SUCKS... thats for sure! If he 'covered' (or remixed?) a track from Elysium and released it without permission.. it's very freakin` sneaky and lame to the bone.. but sueing someone for that is just a bit toooo much imo! The track probably didn't get any attention either.
  13. Great effects, breaks and atmosphere dude! Really nice production but I have to agree with Amygdala, it doesn't exactly sound like 1 whole song, but more pieces of more then 1 song combined with some FX.. try to get more unity in the song I would say.. for the rest.. awesome! keep it up
  14. Nice track Amygdala I like this techy stuff!
  15. haha you're new here Blasphemy.. that's the only thing i'll say for today (and.. trust your own senses haha)
  16. Nice effects! though the entire song doesn't keep my attention really up (and I don't like the snare very much) But the beginning is effective!
  17. Outer Dimentia is going to be the dancefloor bomb of the album I think.. judging on the samples.. it will probably kick some ass
  18. Grreeaat mix indeed! really like it! Especially the track @ 48:00 rocks the floors if you ask me.. smooth and tight mixing, perfect dudes thanks!
  19. Didn't knew that! checked them out.. and some where quite thrilling! Outer Dementia... WOAA really looking forward to the real deal
  20. Albums: 1. Shift - Excession 2. Midi Miliz - Nonstandards 3. E-Jekt - Dark Fader 4. Shpongle - Nothing Lasts 5. Jaia - Fiction VA's: 1. Va - Street Art 2. Va - Feel The Force 3. Va - Vibraspirit 23.11 4. Va - Set 6 Evolved 5. Va - Global Alliance Really really hard to pick faves.. have some more left! For example: Nobody mentions Xerox & Illumination - XI! or Psysex - Remixed, two of the best Israeli albums this year IMO. (Though they suffer from good competition hehe) .. and it was a good year , some great releases Moderator's note: user has been requested through PM to sum up his "best of 2005" list in a Top 5. received by PM this:
  21. Bulltshit ofcourse, it's a matter of taste. I like their tracks a lot. Bashing is not needed
  22. Sounds sweet once again, you should work on the production more and keep it up man... really fluffy melodies
  23. South Africa has some great music coming from it Timecode/Nexus media kick ass!
  24. Even longer samples from Saikosounds.com: http://www.saikosounds.com/english/show_ar...?artist_id=6489 And everyone has a different oppinion ofcourse, its good and natural, I would like to hear more haha does this stuff get you dancing and sinking in?
  25. And yes.. I already heard the album before and I really love the sound! thick fat S.A styled full on psy but not with the typical Shift madness.. more focussed on sucking you in the groove haha. Link with short mp3 samples: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/nex/nex1cd006.html Link with longer mp3 samples: http://www.nexus-media.co.za/mp3samples.html The mastering by Artifakt is also top notch again... Quality (dancefloor) product! Will be posting a review of this in the near future in the Music Section. Alloowww this information to.. SINK IN! *Discuss this release* I can recommend it
