AWESOME RECORD dude! Really like Visually Distorted sooo much Expecting to arrive at my doormat tomorrow: - V.A - Midnight Storm II - X-dream - Best of 1992 - 2001
-
The artifakt track does indeed kick ass! This is a good compilation for S.A styled Psy fans, but on that part it ain't anything special too... I prefer the new Mignight Storm II ! That one kicks more ass

Lucas Presents God Save The Machine

Samples sound really nice indeed! hope to hear more of this soon -
Negative vision on it all.. can see something but the scene ain't that bad The stuff going on with the labels etc. are more 'artists' problems then crowd problems! Most of the time here in the Netherlands, the party atmosphere is easy, good and friendly! The occassional candyglowstickraverkiddo's don't ruin anything for me! And not being an international artist but just a Dj,.. I don't recon any problems at all

V.A - Midnight Storm II (Compiled by Shift) Released by Nexus Media 4-2006 *text by www.saikosounds.com* Midnight Storm 2 – Electric Energy – is the highly anticipated follow on to the meanest compilation of 2005. Shift has gathered again a truly astonishing set of wicked tunes that just cant let you down. Its mastered by the Artifakt™ and it features a smashing remix of azax syndroms - the covenant by shift and a bad new monster by azax and shift together, as well as thunderous new bombs from Hydraglyph, Brethren, Manifold, Energetic, Abomination, Multistate, Slug & Rabdom L. Music not for the feint-hearted. This compilation is stuffed full of electric energy, mean music, and serious experiences. The second storm is here. Be shocked. Tracklist: 1. Hydraglyph / Breach 2. Slug Vs Rabdom L / Iron Curtainn 3. Manifold / Voinamirov 4. Multistate / Grandma Death 5. Shift Vs Azax Syndrom / How Do U Stop It? 6. Abomination / The Hunt 7. Azax Syndrom / The Covenant (Shift Remix) 8. Energetic / Overdose 9. Brethren / Moshi Moshi CHECK THIS LINK FOR SAMPLES: http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display...ase.asp?id=5626 On a personal note I thought that this CD would deserve a little bit more promotion, because after hearing the samples I immediatly decided to get a copy of this GREAT V.A, You can already hear the power of the tracks in the 4:00 samples, big full phat basslines combined with some high class audiomanipulation, dancefloorbashing and twisted melodies... just the South African psy-style I like to hear and Dj the most! Will try to make a review when I've got the copy!

You and I seem to have quite a same taste in Psy dude! also the S.A Style passions I like most of the acts you've posted there! E-Jekt made a great full on debut album last year indeed fpr the israeli department.. i'm not very keen on most Israeli full on acts but E-jekt and Xerox & illumination really stand out for me in that crowd! (also Dynamic is nice going at times). Also would like to add.. Try some Shift/Twisted System/Phyx/Brethren stuff if you're going for harder full on with a more "twisted/freaky" sound! And VA - Vibrasphere 23.11 & VA - Pump Fiction (2006) had some decent full on tracks on it!

Soulclipse Festival - Turkey 2006
FrozenRealm replied to el brujo's topic in General Party & Travel Talk (Worldwide)
http://uk.weather.yahoo.com/TUXX/TUXX0004/index_c.html According to that it should be fine in about a few days? :S It would be REALLY fucked up if the festival was cancelled.. I've some friends staying there -
I don't... but that's just because I'm lazy at the moment.. It can really help you find a decent track at a certain BPM range for instance while spinning a set! Bending tracks too much sucks.. so I'll do it in the future.. but I can also beatmatch OK without just takes me a little longer
-
I like the way this review turned out GSH! It's subtile and has some 'nuance'.. Though I like this cd because of it's "mellowness" and actually nice dense sound (maybe its just me.. I like the way it sounds at the moment). But you are right when you say that it isn't something extremely special.. cause it isn't indeed. But still.. I would say this is a pretty decent release with some good stretched and easy prog/house trance tracks! I also dig the melody from "inside the crystal circle", but that's just a matter of taste
-
I fully agree.. most people I know download and so do I! I use them for checking if a cd's worth buying.. if it sounds boring to me I delete it and it won't bother my ears again.. If its good! I check out psyshop.com plus: If it weren't for the mp3's.. I wouldn't find such a broad spectrum of music! It helped me getting stuff legally
-
Finally a quality Full on CD! really took a long time but there are enough good tracks on this CD to definately purchase it! If you're into bouncy and a little twisted Full On with some dark edges at the time and high quality audio manipulation combined with dancefloor-approved melodies withouth getting too cheesy.. check this out! Faves: 2,4,5,6,7 !

HAHAHA !!! UMG111! KILLARRRR
-
Not really morning, but a bit 'easy' feeling in this one: Penta - Lost in Space! Aweeesome track
-
that Dino Psaras remix is one of the ugliest worst cheesiest bad remixes i've heard in quite a while.. PUKE!!!
-
I think its quite nice actually! very nice evolving sound in most of the tracks and he definately has a recognizable own style! Favourites: 2,3,6,7 Give it another try mr Hippie! It may indeed grow on you
-
try Twisted System - Core or Pitch Hikers - Twilight Zone ! Some of the best South-African Psy available these days.. really good music
-
I kinda like it too but I really like starwars and the melody kicks ass imo! Though can see in that some people thinks it's cheesy.. aah well.. your own opinnion is what counts ;P
-
Tango & Greed - Inside the Crystal Circle ? maybe a bit tooo much for you though hehe
-
Take care indeed.. hope you can solve the problems mate! Godspeed
-
Judging on the samples.. I would say "Inside the crystal circle" is going to be my favourite track! awesome simple but effective melody and groove ! Also very curious about the KNS remix.. one of my favourite Atmos tracks
-
Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience was awesome! Also.. Va - The Turning.. TOP NOTCH S.A Psy!!!!
-
For the people who do not know anything about Greed, this piece of propaganda may help a bit (www.psyshop.com) Well.. the style is hypnotising progressive house with some trancey elements in it if I may speak on my personal behaf. Just heard the samples from his new CD "Greeds" Temptation" @ http://www.greed.ch/greed/tracklist.html and for some of you they may be boring at first hand.. but i'm starting to appreciate this stuff lately! Anyone an opinnion about this new album!? DISCUSS still finding out if I really like it or not hehe.. but I definately want to hear it in good quality on a Sunday afternoon openair psy fest
