  1. Hi, at Ozora the DJ KRAAK played a really slow (125 bpm or so) psychedelic remix of the Jean -Michel Jarre song Oxygene 4 that everyone went completely berzerk to. It had one of those triplet beats like Hux Flux Tripple Nipple. Anyone knows what remix it is and where to get it, I can't get it out of my head.
  2. Werd! Sounds just like her description. Or the last Symphonix CD Music Prostitute, even though there are some definite low points mixed in there with the high points.
  3. You're talking about "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named"....
  4. I might be a baboon, but I am a baboon who listen to good music.
  5. Look, here Posford meets his master: Notice his buckling body posture, acknowleding Atmos's higher status and musical prowess. Also notice Atmos graciously excepting Posfords greeting 0WNED!!!
  6. I saw Posford last weekend at Ozora, and have the following observations: A ) He got fat B ) He didn't do anything live, there could have been a Laptop standing there. He didnt get into his music at all, i think hes really sick of Hallucinogen. C ) He played Oliver Liebs remix of LSD, not even his own work To sum it up, I found it to be rather unspectacular. Atmos who played ahead of him was 3000000000000000000 times better.
  7. mmm, nice pic dear....x x x

  8. Why is everyone so freaked about ads? I have a perfect ability to block out all ads whatsoever, I dont notice anything I dont wanna notice. And if they pay by click-through rates, we could have a big psynew click-in where everyone clicks the addds like crazy once a month to raise some money? Even the poorest member can click!! I am for pr0n ads, then I would even look at them once in a while.
  9. Artist : SunControlSpecies Title : Scienza Nuova Label : Iboga Records Style : Horse Trance Format : CD and MP3 Release date : june 2007 Tracklist : 1. Only Human (a day in forever) (133 bpm) 2. Polarized (135 bpm) 3. Kick me shake me (135 bpm) 4. Scienza Nuova 5. Exubrious (132 bpm) 6. Here comes the titans (136 bpm) 7. Muddlehead.100 (133 bpm) 8. Spines (133) 9. The big mistake of '08 (132 bpm) A proggy psy album with only about 45 seconds of arpeggiated basslines! AWESOME! I feel like I'm 24 again! Where have the days gone where we could live out our equestrian fantasies and gallop freely on the lush meadows along the GoA 24 like the young careless Pony's that we were.... Nostalgia, Nostalgia.... I haven't followed the psy-scene much in a while, but it seems to me all proggy releases featured either arpeggiated basslines or dumb german oompa-oompa sound a la Fabio. This, however, is a throwback to the good old deep atmospheric prog-psy with those galopping Mustang grooves that would put joy into the heart of every semi demented 10 year-old girl who thinks of nothing else but her little horsey. When I was middle school, there was a girl in my class who was really into horses. Her name was Manja. She went so far that when we had the 50 meter dash in Sports class, she wouldn't run as fast as she could, she would galopp like a horse. Of course she had a pony-tail, she read the Wendy magazine, and when she wasn't riding horses, she was playing with "My little Pony". So in the name of Manja, every ten year-old girl on the planet, and useless E-Tards like myself who sometimes like to pretend like we are little horseys too whenever we get to roam a lush meadow at 10 in the morning, I hereby officially award SCS the GAY SATANIC MY LITTLE PONY AWARD for the advancement of the horse groove. Leaving the groove aside, I really dig this album. It sounds awesome, there are dense atmospheres and cool sounds everywhere, it just goes down like water. I basically only listened to minimal techno lately, after listening this album I'm realizing what I have been missing. It really is a whole other listening experience. So nice job SCS, and thanks for refraining from arpeggiated basslines :clapping:
  10. I was a big fan of Antix first two albums, but I can't really get into this one. I really don't know where everyone gets the minimal vibe from, cause too me it sounds like a mesh of various progressive stylings, with a hint of the typical Antix flavor, except that track Circade. Maybe I just don't get it, but there are great ideas sprinkled throughout these tracks, but then they are not followed through. Take the track Flock for example, theres that great "dubby hook" that has great potential, but then it gets lost in the build-up of the track and doesnt do anything. Then in the end these techno'ish leads come creating a very "Berlin atmosphere", but when it gets going they are taken away. In the end, I have heard some great ideas, but I keep thinking "this is it???". Same with Circade, the only track that IMHO ventures into minimal territory. When I first heard this track, for the first two minutes my brain started doing backflips and screaming "FUCK YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!" but then: Nothing. The idea is just going nowhere. If you compare this track with regular minimal techno, the "experts" just make a lot more out of their few ideas. But usually they don't even sound half as good as Antix production-wise, but that's a whole other issue. Well, these were just two examples. In general "Wanderers" is just a little too bland for my taste. I feel like there are just too many flavors thrown into the mixer, and out comes something that tastes like everything and nothing. Or, to be mean, compare it to mixing colours. If you mix all colours together, the result is brown Anyways, thats just MHO, there is no reason you should listen to me, I have a small penis, so you never know what I'm trying to compensate that deficiency with.
