  1. Just get the the sampler on 12", because it contains the only two outstanding tracks on this comp, "Tube" and "Pulsar". The rest I dont like, but a lot of my friends are reall into the Bus and into the Purple track. But get the sampler, it makes an excellent 12".
  2. This album was my favourite compilation of the summer when it came out. All tracks are very, very, good and my favourite one is No.2, really slow at something like 126 bpm, but really trippy. There are no bad tracks on this one, there is no track that would be below a 8/10 on my scale, so i can only recommend it. I'll give it 10/10, just because its very rare to find a compilation that has 8 tracks that could all be singles. Iboga is one of my favourite labels right now, get this CD, it's really worth it.This CD is much better than the earlier two Iboga Compilations.
  3. This is a good compilation (like all Medium Comps), but i wanna point out that Visionary " Glass" is right now my favourite melodic track, very well produced, techno high hats along with a trance beat and beautiful soundscapes. The break in the middle is sooooo cool and it gives you goosebumps without getting cheesy. The rest is pretty cool, too ( Human Blue, D-Fundation, Nerve). The Chi-Ad songs are not my thing, though.
  4. There are some very good tracks on this LP. My personal favourite is No.1 Hochstapler, a dark pumping piece of Tech-Trance with really cool percussion. My second favourite is No.8 Zeitsprung and No's 5,6 and 3 are cool, too. The weakest Track probably is No.4 Aufreisser, i don't know why this track deserves a full side on the LP version. It actually borrows the melody from some Oakenfold style cheese trance track .;-( Another Track that i like is No.9 Mitleid Express. Definitely not psy-trance, but i think this is what cool club trance could sound like. I especially like the baby voices that are whining in German " Komm zurueck", which means " Come back". It's like a scared baby crying for his mom, very trippy. This LP has its ups and downs, but i think this is what cool "non-goa" trance could sound like.7/10 on the whole, but Hochstapler is a bomb and deserves 9/10.
  5. The Mato project is not only Atmos, its also Noma. Atmos and Noma used to work together as Mato Projectb, but the they split.
  6. Reallt, really good album. It manages to be floaty and bonecrushing at the same time. You could listen to this to go to sleep or it could blow any dancefloor up. I really like the dubtracks, too, especially San Pedro. BTW,"Cactus Point", the b-side of their recently released 12" "Mental Mountain" is also a great track, anyone who likes this album should get the 12 ". It's really worth it for that track.
  7. I dont have this comp, but i know almost all the tracks. Ktaadn is right, this is the way it is going. I think especially Disc 2 is psychedelic on a whole other level than old school psy, much deeper if you will. Im gonna have to get my hands on this one, i really think this style is the way of the future. It's cool that Sasha plays Delta Skelter, but why not, i always wondered why DJ's like him never played more tracks out of the psychedelic corner.
  8. I listened to this only at the recordsstore, but i tend to agree with diezynyk, it is very average and forgetable. Not bad at all, just average.
  9. The only Process is way better than So Nice you name it twice, even though So nice... already gets 9.5 out of 10. The only Process is just so insanely good, there is no comparison. This one song is better than everything ever made by any other artist than Atmos. The only song that can compare is "Klein aber Doktor" by Atmos, even though over time i have come to the conclusion that "The only Process" is better. After hearing this song the first time at a party, those weird voices did not leave my head for weeks. I just couldn't forget this track, and when Ifinally bought it, i drove my roomate to insanity with this track. He actually stole the record from me so I couldnt listen to it anymore, but I have it back now, and even one year after its release i listen to it all the time.
  10. I know im probably gonna get tortured and then burned alive, but THIS SUCKS. I like Twisted, but this? My friend has this and i never liked it. Then i saw all the rave reviews on this site and i gave it some serious listening, but i really don't like this. The melodies are not well done and the whole arrangement just annoys me. In short, this is really annoying.I really don't know what you guys are on, but compared to Atmos "Headcleaner" this album just sounds obnoxious, that's a good way to describe it.
  11. I really like this album, but i have to agree with alexg1029, i wouldn't listen to it all at once. The Kickdrum is almost the same throughout the whole album. I guess this guy is more about the sounds, because they are really, really well done, which makes this album so cool. I'll give it 8/10.
  12. My favourite song. Over and out. I must have listened to this 9.999.999.999.999 times, and my musical taste has changed a lot during this time, but from when i first heard it up to now this is my favourite. The thumping beat, the scratching noises, the cool sample and my favourite, the weird gloomy floating background sound during the middle of the track with the fat percusion..... It doesnt get any better.
  13. Yeah, this album is awesome, and they are very good live, too.At the lovefield festival in Germany they played Sunday morning at 12pm, and until then the party never really got going, even though Sangeet and Mark Allen played. But when Element came on it exploded and from then on until 7pm at night the party was excellent, all thanks to Element. One of the best live acts i have seen and one of my favourite albums. Especially for those morning hours.
  14. Thats true, the remixes suck, except the Darshan one maybe. Its a shame, cause the original is very deep. Especially after i heard the cancer story, i have come to hold this track in a completely different light. Spiritual Healing, what else can you say. I hope the vicious "ils" mix doesnt make the poor man ill again.
  15. Its funny, this is how far it has come, people say Der dritte Raum sounds like Son Kite. I remember when Son Kite first came out, everybody said that sounds like Der Dritte Raum. Der dritte Raum has been around since 1993 i think and has always made very technoish and minimal trance, not really goa at all, but still lots of people into goa liked and still do. Wellenbad is at least for or five years old and it still sounds young, especially Trommelmaschine, which ( i think) influenced a lot of the new progressive producers, like Son Kite for example. Anyway, i really like Wellenbad and anyone into progrewssive would, too
  16. I think this album is essential for anyone who is into the new progressive scandinavian sound. there are some really amazing tracks on here, i like all of them. I would definitely recommend this record.
  17. What are you all talking about, i love this album, especially Pi Symptom and teutonik. i saw them live and they were really good. Its dark and stomping and perfect night music
