I added synthwave to the description on discogs for this track (single release), but donno how misguiding that actually is. I mean, the track has syntwaves, not the poppy one maybe, and that = analog synthesizers : ) I can remove it if people here say so! This (mixcloud) has loads of live synthesizers played on top of the original track (soundcloud). Pretty impressive imo.

I wish you could hear this ""regular"" Progressive Goa inspired PsyTrance track, look at the numbers that make the length (time) of the track it self! 1512 (read; dr hofmann's potion)

The long delicious progression and element-ed potential on top :: this original mix version is very stripped compared to what the artist is able to present on his live shows, which is amazing and yes very analog and alive.

Yes this is a GREAT and long awaited release from the almighty YGGDRASIL RECORDS! I love it, all three discs, and I am very proud on a personal note that my name is in the booklet among the Thank Yous! For sure this is the very first time i am mentioned and thanked inside a CD-booklet. So this is for me personally a huge deal and something that I feel proud of. *from growing up I've always loved to read the lyrics and thank yous and inspiration inside the CD-booklet of the albums I bought. The first release was on the same night. The release is a single track by Material Music (a talented artist) given to the psytrance event organizer Love&Magic, in 2015. It was only now let loose, just the way it is. A proper Record label, i think we most agree on is a label that publish and release physical formats (CD, Vinyl) as well as the new digital formats like i.e FLAC and Wav. We've chosen a tad unconventional way of starting up the label in these new times. Therefor we use mainly Bandcamp but we will when things are more ready and steady move onto other distributor pages as well to be more accessible to the general wider public. Right now, we only offer a CDr/Files of our debut release (KER001) . And the single is a grower, so expect it to get more tracks added soon.... Our aim is in general great psytrance and chillout music, and we're not afraid of pushing the envelope or to creating a new style on the way. Sometimes I enjoy my self because I'm quick and see things fast.. Sometimes I laugh, because I'm so slow. When I first heard this track (i got it from Napster in 2000/2001) and had never really heard Psytrance before except for some MWNN and Zodiac Youth.., I thought it was of course a very cool and different piece of music (i came from a more (nu-) Metal taste background and IMs 2 first albums listened to for the very first time combined with a virgin trip on psychedelics (mexicans) just overwhelmed & converted me into a psytrance head). I never did really understand though, except for being a cool movie (Independence Day) and a gnarly sample, why in a Psy/Goa-trance album there was this lyric/sample about dying/hate. Except for, the ego-death metaphor.. Anyway, it was kinda overlooked as silly to meaningful and the IM love with a growing love for other Psy- and Goa artists continued. The track is also of much poorer sound-quality then the rest of The Gathering album btw imo. A couple of years ago, a sad thought hit me, that the track could be about political dilemmas, like the Gaza strip..... Then just a few weeks ago it struck me, and I am so embarrassed I didn't realize this before (truth can be multiple who knows how many thoughts or no thoughts/intentions the IM had while making it). The guitar in the track Release Me, is snatched from a Metallica track. And one could argue that napster made IM, sort of say ,) Metallica was in the front of killing Napster right. Aum shanti.... Ba-Boom! Release Me......

Hey sorry I'm kinda just jumping in here to check if anyone of you can say that this *attached track* reminds you of any other track (main melody BTW. comes at 7:56 and another one at 11:56). + that each person maybe had a certain equipment (hard to get a hold of, costly), like "hey you got a guitar, i got drums, he's got a Bass. Lets combine." The old gods (oldskool before fullon came in) wont be around to play/present their (old) music for us Live 4 ever. So a lot of people are appreciating this oppertunity that the Neogoafanatics has pushed for. Its really neat, the way that it is now, has become - after the decade with fullon and prog. And how Psytrance as awhole will develope it self is constantly interesting. The 2005 "Psytrance is Dead" era for sure proved that good. Imo 2005-6 has some of the very best releases out there even though certain people where screaming that Psytrance is dead. Goa is a goal. Like phenix. For a whole wave of Goatrance lovers these last few years is heaving heaven forfilled. Many like me; the idea to experience Pleiadiens live (not the fullon) was thought to be a gone oppertunity and missed out on 4 ever.
