JR were always ecperimental, with live percussion, vocals and dances. That is why they're on a league of their own. You don't even have parameters to compare them to great goa acts, like, say, Astral Projection. They're masters in what they do, but in different ways. No wonder JR realm has reached outside the goa boundaries, while other goa acts are unknown to great audiences - like cinema industry. Ps. I voted Beyond.

It seems that you just are not able to appreciate life. Like, e.g., seeing pleasure in a simple walk thru the mountains. Once you start seeing boredom in simple things, even major events will be meaningless. But it's never too late to learn that.

Coincidentally, tonight we organized an electronic night in our bar. When psy was played, customers asked to swap it for techno, the dance floor had only 10 people. With techno, it got crowded.

I think it resembles a lot full-on with schizophrenic sounds in the background. If you swap it for a more space texture, it will sound like fine full-on. I like Mubali and Ocelot, but I can listen to their CD only once, after the third track it starts sounding like just one huge 60 minutes track. The FXes are overused by everybody in the genre. But I think that darkpsy (the good one, I mean, under 145 bpm) works only with megablast sound systems, in parties and clubs. At home, with earphones, it sounds too frenetic and dizzy.

Phil Collins, the Genesis vocalist? Why? He is one of my favorite singers ever. I danced and dated a lot with his 1980s songs.

Good topic. Death, to my religion belief, is a stage, not the end. Our loved ones will be there with us, in the afterlife. One thing that is so mind blowing, mind challenging and that brings a new perspective to one's life is to try to understand that THIS life, the now, is not the main act of one's story. I meant that the time I used with a book on my backyard, reading and having a coffee now I use it with my iPhone. My net time is not at work, it's when I am resting.

I know I am almost there: I read at least 3 books a month. Lately, only half one. This is the clearest sign that the net took over me. I blame my iPhone, too easy to get connected. I read that in some countries they are already offering tech detox treatments. I wonder that those who play games online (I don't) must be in a worse shape.

Counter-intuitive? I think there should be some balance between dark and light. The darker the sound the earlier the day. At least that's how I enjoyed some great parties in the 1990s. The darker side of dark psy is really scary to the weaker minds. I can appreciate it, but dark psy is one of the reasons I don't go to parties anymore.

Darkpsy should be played between 15h and 20h. Not at night, it's depressive. The current timetables are not the best, I think.

I am not judging you, this text may have turned on a light inside you. But it resembles a lot leftist pamphlets (from the likes of Chavez, Christina Kirchner, Maduro, Lula, all bolivarians) that means to turn anyone who reads them into an anarchy guy, and in most cases it really causes the person to become a lunatic. It is one of those drunk texts that the author should be ashamed of publishing - it says nothing despite apparently doing so.

I have an issue like this with one CD from Nipponic brand: out of 10 tracks, it wouldn't go further than #6. I took a good look at the CD, but couldn't find any scratch. I guess it has something to do with the reflective material. After that, I decided to back up my collection in iTunes and iPod, and my favorite ones in my iPhone.

@Iron: if it's good for you, then it's ok with me. It's all about opinion and taste. About the track you linked: not my cup of tea.

Isn't our current conception of 4 dimensions the visualization of an object of 3 dimensions traveling thru time - the 4th one - ? Or are there new concepts about that?
