  1. Just out of curiosity, did you guys know that Siouxsie & The Banshees had a brief date with the very early 1990s goa scene in London? I remember reading a NME article when goa was still a subterranean genre the Siouxsie took part in one of the very first goa parties in the city. Funny, I remembered it now when I saw the video.
  2. No, we can't. I could have added this to my previous comment. So, modern artists are really brave doing goa nowadays, I applaud them for that. Not easy trying to do goa when their work will be compared to such a rich past.
  3. what? Really? Oh, not that it was about all that mountain of money everybody is talking about, no! I was being sincere, really. Errrr, if you excuse me, I have to visit my grandmother's aunt's uncle who is not feeling well. See you!!!

    Badoo

You can sex up it in your self description in your profile
  5. I have a differente point of view: every modern artist has at least one great innovative track released. I appreciate the work of BSF and M-Run, but frankly, I like only one track of the first, can't remember the work of the second. So what we have nowadays is a bunch of great tracks spread thru a myriad of artists. Versus in the old school time, when almost every artist's work was really mind blowing. Unfortunately, I can't point a single outstanding artist. I liked the work of E-Mantra at first, but it faded with time. Right now I like the Russian school (Psy-H Project, Alienapia and others doing modern dark goa).

    Badoo

Ooh! I like women. They're great for cleaning, washing, doing the dishes. Seriously, my profile states clearly that I "want friendship, chatting, dating and sex with men". But some women don't care about that. Go figure...
  7. Have I ever told you that I had a dream that we are best buddies in the universe? That you are the most smart and beautiful person in the whole world? You are a dream come true? (don't call me "bitch!", I am being sincere, I swear it's all true!!)

    Badoo

From a personal experience: after 3 weeks I have been contacted by 48 people, 2 women among them, for friendship, serious dating, chatting or sex. Some matched my profile, but I am only chatting for the time being. I think it's been more useful to me than FB. I using our lounge FB page for promotions and it works great, I pay 5 dollars per campaign and it makes us reach 10,000 potential customers. It is great for our business. My personal profile, I am seriously thinking of deleting it. Badoo is doing a great job for my personal life the same way FB is doing for our business.

    Badoo

I think Facebook is close to saturation. Some of my friends aren't using anymore as a way of communication, it's clogged with senseless discussions, ads, things you really don't mind or want to read. That is happening to me too. I am returning to SMS services like iMessages and Whatsapp more and more. And in fact, isn't FB a way of meeting people you know and new ones? I was invited to Badoo ages ago, but I refused to take part in another social network. A friend of mine showed me how it works: it's basically a service where you can find people for dating, but you can also meet your friends a la Facebook. After trying it for some weeks, I see I visit it at least 5 times a day versus 1 once/every two days for Facebook. I also read an article saying that Badoo is the service that is growing faster in a yearly basis, while Facebook is already decreasing. Of course, as always, this is my opinion and I may be wrong.
  10. The zoo or his humans will spend it, giving him more comfort like a larger living space. Hopefully.
  11. Such a sad story. Hope your friend overcomes this and find happiness.

    Badoo

I am not a fan of social networks, already thinking that Facebook is good for business, but it's boring. However I have been using Badoo for a couple of weeks and I tell you: this is the service that will kill Facebook eventually.
  13. A task I have to do every week, one that I don't think is glorious: heated up some water, poured it into a bucket, put feet inside it. Now waiting nails to get soft do I can clip them, they're too hard to get clipped. Worst post of the year, this one, I admit.
  14. Thanks Ionized! I think life will go on and I had better go along with it happy and working.
  15. Well, as I am in the process of divorcing after an eight-years marriage, I'll find myself unemployed near December, as he will close/sell our lounge bar. After I calmed down, I decided to start a hairdresser/barber course. It will give me money, free time on weekends I don't have now and a new profession.
  16. I beg to disagree, about VT being in the same basket with the other three you mentioned. VT was cheesy, no doubt, but their cheseeness were of a good taste, at the time, as you pointed properly. The other three were good too, but they were at the same level.
  17. I am completely addicted to "Downton Abbey".
  18. Although this is new school acid house, you can see how innovative it was at the time and how goa developed from, and parallel, to it:
  19. If you had had the mind to read all the posts I have written to Radi, you'd see that more than once I supported him and tried to sound positive. And Panoptes, let's stop here. Ok?
  20. @imba: it's a pity Radi does not see that beneath our words of support or criticism, we actually are trying to help him. We have a saying in Portuguese that perhaps applies to most of us, and will certainly serve Radi..."if you don't learn from love, then you'll learn from pain".
  21. @Oopie: very short text, but one of the best I've read in ages.
  22. I am sorry for telling you this Radi: you make this forum look pathetic. Not that an Internet gathering of unknown people should look like an enciclopaedia with posts written by PHds. But the quantity of nonsense threads you start, totally empty of subjects worth reading, let alone discussing, is what is making people get away from you. I wish Psynews could have an option of hiding threads by choice of users. I would block you immediately. Mind you, I am not saying I want you banned or something like that, for I see you have very good friends and "followers" here. But, to me, and I am sure, to a lot of other guys here, you're like that neighbor we wish he moved to a distant city leaving no phone, address. Nothing.
