i also think ka-sol's track is maddeningly intense, though it's hard to tell whether it's the best one: goasia's track is as euphoric, and khetzal&chai's one is as emotional, as ka-sol's is intense... and i don't even know how to describe lost buddha and filteria properly

(the image quality sucks unfortunately enough)

to me, that would be phi - phinalizer: there are a couple of amazing tunes on that album, but the production blows - especially the basslines are a pain to hear steptime's album has pretty sucky, unclear production too, but there's something charming to it

not sure what to think of their acts on full moon: on the one hand it sure was insane, on the other hand i felt it was lacking in content and a storyline - i sort of remember it as a collection of jet-sounds, extravagant breaks & heavy kicks/snares... lots of spectacle, little subtility

1 and 3 are pretty amazing tracks, 5 is pretty cool too but it lacks originality imo i think the album is very refreshing, but the production sucks - maybe that's why it never got big

actually, i can enjoy dark psy very well with sucky-ass head-phones maybe not if it's focused on the bass-lines, but there's lots of dark psy filled with twisted melodies and trippy noises that's also extremely enjoyable with little bass (like the va electric embryo to which i'm listening right now)

i think tikal - ritual cycle and electric and universe - cosmic experience are two of the best full on releases out there, although vibe tribe - title i forgot and absolum - inside the sphere are pretty damn good as well imo dark nebula, wizzy noise, the misted muppet, twisted system, talpa and some others named in this topic would be on my list as well, if i were to consider them as full on

i think 148 is ideal, but for no good reason really

had it arrived today and my first impression is that the first track is pretty mad, but the others are rather proggy, with techno-ish synths&melodies (even though the beat is 100% goa) too bad for me, since i was hoping for something like technologic, but it's still good music
