  1. had about 80-100 psytrance cd's last time i count, after one year of buying i also have one dnb vynil
  2. "chaos"? the melody does keep on repeating and intensifying in it but then again, i think most of the tunes by astral have the elements you're describing
  3. i think this one of the best releases of 2004, it's just one big typhoon that blasts through your speakers i have the impression dark nebula influenced by fungus funk, at least those high-octane swirling noises he uses in phenomology remind me strongly of fungus this album is also often treading a very thin line between ironic "kitch" and outright cheese, think of the main-melody in structural failure for instance what's great about nebula is that he creates "dark psy" without all the agressivity there exists in most other dark psy releases, his tunes are spooky in a fairytale sort of way favourite tunes: 1, 2, 4, 5, 9 the 8th sphere, the dark files, robotic tongue and...? i wasn't aware of a fourth album by him?
  4. tough question, but my vote goes to south africa: loads of massive releases by shift/timecode and related artists, plus rinkadink and protoculture i really like the sunny, melodic style most of the swedish artists have (ypsilon 5, s-range, human blue, matenda, filteria...) france is also pretty cool: toi doi, tikal, talamasca, altom, polaris, jaia... australia is also worth mentioning because of dark nebula and scatterbrain (two of my favorite artists)
  5. probably tikal, at least judging from their album (haven't heard too many good tracks from them on compilations) i've really been enjoying the melodic tunes by vibe tribe as well of the late, if this is the way full-on evolving towards i'm happily looking forward to the future other full-on artist i like: altom, polaris, absolum, rinkadink, wrecked machines, protoculture...
