nice! ask him what his goal is whenever he creates a track, what is he striving for ...how he sees himself evolve in the future, or what directions he might take ...with which artists he'd like to cooperate, in so far he hasn't already ...and what colour his undies are, of course
-
actually, i think you got me wrong, i was only joking
-
come to think of it, tikal's own remix of aura is far superior to the original
-
braincell's remix of trold - space attack is better than the original imo can't immediatly come up with anything else
-
i didn't realise the mafia is so prolific amongst full on and prog labels
-
i don't know about other people, but i'd actually be interested in such questions

ocelot is a good example, so would be mubali, don't think ghreg on earth is very melodic though - more industrial dejan also usually has a melodic touch in his tunes, silent horror, bug funk, electrypnose, polyphonia, dark nebula, scatterbrain... and... he seems almost forgotten but he was one of the people who kicked some melody into darkpsy in the first place: menog
-
i'm switching my (undoubtly weighty) support from ghreg to mubali
-
DERANGO! no seriously, ghreg on earth or anyone else of the san francisco gang would be nice (mubali, ocelot etc)
-
maybe a bit surprising but the cd probably have listened to most this year would be "4 carry nuts - mechanical age", just one of those cd's i had in my cd-box for quite a while until i really began listening to it and appreciating it (this is why i never sell cd's btw)

i think it's charleroi you mean there aren't any legal coffee shops like in holland, but it shouldn't be too hard to find weed
-
dark nebula - 100% pure brainwater

What music are you listening to right now?

yes, but you are talking about rules that ensure accuracy of content, and that's not something i'm having issues with, but i'm talking about rules regarding form and i find those not really necessary just for instance, i noticed a while back that the track order in a comp was completely wrong, so i submitted an edit, which took maybe a month or 2 to get accepted meanwhile, a submission of mine gets rejected within days because i hadn't capitalised all the letters in a title, even though the content was perfectly correct and the lack of capitalisations was *exactly* the same on the back-cover of the cd i think wikipedia has already proven that open editing doesn't mean the information is incorrect, and it would certainly make it easier to correct mistakes and add additional information anyway, don't really mean to argue about it, just sharing my views
-
you know, and i'm aware that it's to comment on the sidelines, but wouldn't checking submissions proceed faster if there weren't a booklet of rules full of detailistic rules? less rules means less chance for errors and less to check for personally, i don't care the slightest if there's proper capitalisation, or if mastering is mentioned in notes rather than credits, as long the actual information is correct you'd even might want to consider a system like wikipedia's which would remove the need for moderators and eliminate waiting times
-
i'm just trying to make sure you won't have to go through several rejections and wait until spring before it gets accepted still have pendings for lyserg lessons and kabrastan myself...
-
you have to put these in credits now (even though it doesn't make any sense) and don't forget capitalisations as well

i have about 60 cd's released in 2005, and i bought at least half as many released in other years, so i guess i must have bought around 100 cd's
-
hehe, it's funny how artists their style can evolve, i don't think too many people think of SA as dark minimal anymore and i think twisted system - the dealers was more important than shift's or artifakt's album (but maybe only because i like that one )

i wouldn't recommend those either for listening, that's in-your-face dancefloor material: i'd rather recommend nabi, parvati or trishula stuff maybe not exactly nu skool goa but at least close enough: something by glowing flame records, either duality or braincell
-
not sure if i'd call it commercial, more like "undeveloped", a lot of the tracks are focused at rhytms and they don't seem to be reaching their full potential - the osom track is one of the tracks that does do the trick but then again, i don't i've really made up my mind yet so i should just stfu

psyfactor has my permission to flame now
