Nice ... I'm a big fan of Summoning. I think the only one I like more are Finntroll -- different style, I know... Just curious ... do you have a connection to Austria? Because the two labels you mentioned are from there aswell ... as are Summoning... I do like vinyl a lot, but I am not buying metal records ... if I ever start with that, there won't be no end ... I am now in a phase where I rather tend to reduce my stash and although I'll keep my vinyl, I try to buy less. Of that "viking tribal stuff" (that's what I call it, the Heilung / Wardruna corner) I can also strongly recommend Danheim, Heldom and Skald and also Munknörr ... and if you go further down that road, you will eventually reach the borderline territory where it blends into folk with for example Ochelie Soroki and also such as Hedningarna ... but if you are after industrial vibes, that is completely the other end of the spectrum as I would say -- I think these bands don't even use synth anymore at all. That was pretty much my distilled version of a month-long expedition into these realms ... only thing that's left is I could recommend you more poppy stuff, but tell me if you'd like that... ...speaking of distilling ... where have you been hiding, I know pretty much nobody on here who ever used the word "sherry bomb" in a single posting ... nevertheless, my heart belongs to the Islay drams, the smokier the better

Well, I think I have been driving enough (I mean IRL) to have a vague opinion about what music I would like to hear when racing... ...I'm just gonna make a straight shot. This one would feel nice I guess: ..."Space" atmosphere is in my opinion a great point to start, because in this field there are usually high velocities present, which go well with the feeling of "racing" ... but it really depends on what atmosphere you try to create with your game ... here is a rather psybient one: ... but maybe I am on the wrong train altogether ... do you wanna rather have a pixel-shaded wet track, riddled with particle effects created by the puddles of water or whatever substance that the contestants race through...? Then this might be an inspiration: But above all I confess: at my personal best I am when it comes to synthwave: If you manage to pull it off to combine psytrance with synthwave, I will be interested for the soundtrack alone. To me, the combination of styles is the future! In any way, I'd be glad if I can be of service. Just tell me more what stuff you like and what not - or what atmosphere you are aiming for.

From 2oo2... ...to 2o22. Wild ride, I gotta say. Any predicitons for the next x years? I am first. I predict (and hope for) more liquid dnb remixes of psytrance-ish tracks. Like this I's not been released in 2o22, it's 3 days early ... but boy. This blew me away. I thought psytrance'd be kinda 'clinically ill', never coming out of that hole anymore that it dug itself into with cheap indian samples paired with horrible break-ish (as in: lots of breaks) "myocarditis fullon"... ...but hey, I was very wrong! Some kind souls have come for our rescue and lead us into different territory, where the grass is still green, the sound still fresh, the swing still there and the air still clean. So clean! Who would have thought that I now play Banco De gaia on repeat again, only for it to be a remix of Framewerk ... damn these guys are good. There's more Obsidian remixes, by the way... Welcome to 2o22 ... the last year with a beautifully symmetric number that I will live in ... can't wait for "22.2.22" (the 22nd of Febuary...)

I am not gonna shill it though... I meanwhile do have a totally different approach into shilling a video though ... it is a fully organic approach ... and it involves a cryptocurrency and a brilliantly active community of good people around it ... not gonna say too much though, will save that for a bigger post ... nice one this is exactly what I like ... first, I celebrate that there are no breaks other than gentle ones, where the progression is not chopped off, but gently lead on like long strokes of a paintbrush ... and then I like that there are these 303ish patterns, but underneath them there's this nice ambient synth "carpet melody" as I call it, which sorta grounds the whole thing and makes it a joy for me to listen to it, on and on ... in the latter part this gets lost a tiny bit, but it's still very fine ... like this recommendation a lot and I thank you for it

Hi ... um ... as a person who had Covid, I can tell you it's pretty nasty shit and I can understand China, that they have these strict rules, because China is crammed with people; if they get a serious spread there it's gonna be apocalypse... The restrictions hit me aswell because I want to go to China again for a bit of travelling, but at the moment they don't let any tourists in, I was told ... and even if they do, as you say there is 28 days quarantine - I can only take a few weeks off work, so that's not an option. I have heard though, once through the quarantine, you are a free person in China 28 days later and can do EVERYTHING there ... and that means much, I tell you, because here in Austria the ECUs are full and we are lockdowned again and well, even if some people do party illegally in private, I do not condone it and I absolutely don't go there, because as said, I know what Covid feels like to me and I really don't want to catch it again and we have enough cases here meanwhile absoutely everywhere As for that "cabal of tyrants" ... nah, I tell you, the only thing that is, is that some humans out there are gigantically stupid ... and while that is a problem, it also prevents such "big conspiracies" from happening, believe me, people are just too stupid for it to pull it off ... and even if you contradict me on that and say that these do exist, I am slowly leaning towards acceptance, because if people are clever enough to pull this off, in this world of immense stupidity and selfishness, they deserve it almost a little. Ahhhh I understand, they just quoted his "goodbye" message... ...I assume he knew little about how long he'll still be talked about that's unfortunate ... and yes it seems that this is the case... ...however, if it really way a justified and properly executed "Insolvenz" of the company, these artists and labels can pose as individual parties which Psyshop owes money and who also will get some, if the company is disbanded ... it won't be the full sum, but it should not be nothing either as there should be stocks left and stuff that was company property ... however, I could not find anything in the german directory of these defunct businesses, maybe somebody who's among the people whom Psyshop owes money has the position to inquire further?

These also were my thoughts at first ... we at Psynews almost forgot this as well But it is gone since several days, so I assume that they should have noticed it by now if it was just the domain or a technical issue ... especially considering that it is a business, they'll probably have a few people out there that would notify them... ... the whois says the domain doesn't expire until 2022-08-20 ... so I'm afraid that it's indeed real. I do not like that there's nothing to be heard or read from them ... facebook site is just closed ... maybe it wasn't even bankruptcy but something else?
