I know, just recommended some good acid music Hmm.... THen i'll say Ace ventura as mentioned before. Maybe the "new" AKD album will do the trick for you. I find it really beautiful an melodic (i only heard it on mushrooms, but it's probably the same thing thing right ) And i know it's not progressive, but i reallly wanted to recommend Logic bomb-sonic algebra (But you probably heard it before)

Oh you wanted specific recommendations... Then these to albums gave me the best trips... Totally sent of to a different place and time.. Through the hole album(both of them) Love to "wake up" after you've listened to the full length an realize how disorientated you have been troughout...

Production quality, plot, unique effects or melodies, stuff that grap your attention an show you something special is what makes me rate something high... It usually falls down again after some time, so i've stopped rating albums i have only listened to for a month or to... Example is penta's Portuguise abduction, i rated it 9/10 wich i regret now I was just overwelmed by it the first 3-4 listens, but now i wouldn't give it higher than a 7/10... So it's really hard to rate music like this IMO

Sober, high on weed or MDMA, on coke or ketamin, progressive is my number one choice... But for psychedelic drugs i prefer faster music... More surreal music, Like Penta, Furious, Kindzadza stuff like that

WHAT????? No one likes this? Track 1,2,3 and 6 is great IMO! Maybe i take to many drugs, i don't know, but this sounds REALLY good in my ears... Missing link is my favorite Edit: reading the review, calling this fullon? It's more progressive trance IMO, maybe with fullon elements.. But fullon?

Hehe... I'm not into the oldschool/goa if that's what you mean, but if it's good i enjoy pretty much everything ells in the psy category Im pretty picky when it comes to fullon though, but this is worth listening to!

On my first listen now... Im not blown away, except for track 5 wich is really great! But all in all, the album sounds pretty solid ... I'll come back later with a final opinion later.... This definatly deserves some more listens.

I don't have any musical background, and i do electronic music I learned the notes, how they work together and basic rythm understanding by producing trance So i guess it's easier if you can play an instrument, but it's not neccesary IMO... If you have basic musical understanding, you should be allright!

This and all other oldschool... The outdated mastering/production (caused by outdated equipment i guess? )allways annoys me when im sober. After listening to all the newly released electronic music, i just can't make myself listen to it longer than a couple of tracks... Think that's why i don't join your pleidians,hallucinogen,ect gang :/ When im high on something it's a different story though

It's a phrase from a track on compilation: Utopia2 And if you think about it, how often do you hear something in a track that you have NEVER heard before? Maybe the artists combine the elements differently, but if you single out each element in a track, it's been done before! Get my point?
