  2. Nice track, needs some volume adjustments imo... and build in some surprising stuff in 3rd half ...
  3. Funny I just thought the same, esp when in another forum ( a "kinky" one :P) there is also a discord server I got this invite and joined etc but dont know what to do and the guy who has this server does not answer. I requested they delete my account again, if even the "inviter" did not answer for what is this good? LOL
  4. Without much woirds; i saw this scalar field etc theory also incl. quantum fields I guess (but tbh I am not good enough in the meanings so wanna hear opinions): https://medium.com/@currentarts/what-if-presence-is-to-consciousness-what-gravity-is-to-mass-745124844bae

  6. I just came to make topic about feeling nostalgic and grateful for the years spent here with everyone back some 20 years ago, oh my, how time flies and that it makes me rather nostalgic seeing that oldies aren't active anymore and that forum itself is basically half-comatose, and there I see this thread of yours, Traveller, literally minute after I was thinking about oldies who were frequents here and there you are! Ahem, what can I say, I think you have been dethroned long ago, but just chose to accept your faith only now. Oh and I did my trademark emoji reaction to your posts, guys 😎😂 :NINJA:
  7. Banging me head while listening to some old school goa trance. Which I listen to very rarely these days, but when I do, its the bestest of the bestest!
  8. Oldchool banger: EU - Luna Overdrive /😎

  10. Hi Folks, How you doing? I just wanted to drop a line here, to let people know I've started a merch line of T-Shirts. I've never done that before, so quite stoked about them. I designed them myself, and there are choices of colours, design, and sizes. Their good quality prints on garment, and good quality garments. Link to the store: https://drezz-shop.fourthwall.com/en-gbp Also.......I am going to release a new album this year, I'd like to go out on vinyl. It will be pre orders/crowd funded like I did for the last Double album. I'll do full psychedelic artwork, signed, numbered to probably 150 or so, perhaps more, depends........there were some very cool cats here on this forum who supported the last one, so please do consider doing so for this one. It's going to be a really good one I think, I've postponed it actually: It was going to come out earlier, but then I started writing some really interesting stuff, and its been flowing, so I'm waiting to get all the best material together, and its going really well, so I'm putting everything into this one, as I may go into a different direction after this album comes out. Please check out my Facebook page for all the latest on that. I'll make sure to post a thread here with all the relevant links and all that when everything is ready to roll. Thanks to all who supported the recent Digital Reprints retrospective compilation, that was a really cool project to do, and it was great helping put all that together with Thanos from Digital Reprints. Anyway, please do consider grabbing a T-Shirt or two, that would really help the project, and facilitate more cool stuff! Cheers, Drezz

  11. Nervasystem 4xCD =)) And some new soumisaundi.
  12. So the ZNA masters are adding more amazing acts to the Zambu temple. MasaRay, Mystica vs One Man Game and Ololiuqui. =)) The chill out line up is complete. And the pre-pre-party. If you are going there with the bus, cars are not allowed.
  13. This is what I got so far, any opinion to improve it? I have used Reaper and Synth1 only, it is very simple but is cool in my opinion. Tips and opinions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxXT4n1oR_Y
  14. Most Goa trance fans probably know the first track well, but I suspect the second one is unfamiliar even to many dedicated fans. It's really more of a classic trance track, with just a hint of Goa in it. Both tracks were written by the same artist, which is why I've posted them back to back. Shell Shock - Sunshine On Tokyo (Main Mix) (1996) The Nomads — The Holy Land Spirit (Club Mix) | also known as Original Mix
  15. Not necessarily without DAW, but must sounds you hear come from hardware synths, as opposed to plug-ins. Dragon Twins uses a hardware sequencer instead of a DAW though!

  17. Nice release! As a nerd I have a question. What does that mean exactly "made on hardware"? Without Computer/DAW? Recording on tape? 😉 By the way: Hardware is not necessarily analogue. It can be analogue or digital or both (i.E. Synths with digital oscillators and analogue filters).
  18. Humate — 3.2 (Bedrock Mix) (1998) One of the best tracks released on Platipus — a timeless classic. https://www.discogs.com/release/24812-Humate-31
  19. Today I present two tracks that use very similar melodies. The first track was written by songwriter Nello Tijardovic, who has dozens of tracks behind him, mostly dance music. The second track is by the project Notch. It’s barely known even among goa fans. This was a project by the guys from Carbon Based Lifeforms. As you can hear, they definitely didn’t start out in the genre they later became famous for. If anyone doesn’t catch the similarity between these two tracks, here are the timestamps: first track — 05:59, second — 04:09. Even the track title “Phenomenology” seems like a nod to Miranda. Remember the name of her first album? Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m referring to. Miranda — Mars Needs Women (1998) | Written by Nello Tijardovic Notch — Phenomenology (1999)

  21. Debut Release on Kilobyte Records 4 tracks, by Abstrakti (Event Horizon vs. Apeiron), 7 Machines In The Night Sky, Globox, and Dragon Twins! All pretty oldschool inspired tracks, 3 of which made on hardware! https://kilobyterecords.bandcamp.com/album/birth
  22. Thanks for the response! Well, there are so many other genres I've heard in many different Psytrance tracks that are not on the website and that I would love to see there (hence why my message got edited to add more of them before I reloaded the page and saw your response... though I forgot to add Mizrahi Music / Muzika Mizrahit, which is a pretty frequent influence in Nitzhonot 😛) I messaged someone on Facebook (from my personal account...), not sure if it was you or not but I recognized the surname from psychill.space... ah, and of course I don't know how to contact people from my artist page unless they message me first x) Does my DM suffice or should I make a post to mention psychill.space on my artist page?
  23. If you have an official account on any social media, it would be best if you shared the website on it and/or sent a message from that profile to Psychill Space's profile. If not, you can for example send an email from an email thats visible ie. on bandcamp, etc.
  24. Hi there! An idea for a "suggest a missing genre" button recently came into my head, I just didn't have enough time to implement it. For each subgenre I will need to dive in a little bit more and consider whether it's different enough to be noticed by an average person, and whether there's enough music in it to justify adding a hybrid genre (rather than just setting the sliders to 50% genre X and 50% genre Y). For example zenonesque is just an umbrella term for anything that sounds like from zenon records, for which we already have bush progressive and dark progressive and a combination of these two will cover basically 90% of these releases. Remaining 10% would be probably just psy-techno. So, some of the genres you mentioned I was already planning on adding, the rest, like swamp psytrance - I would have to look into and have some research first
  25. Oh, and another question! How do I prove that I indeed am Azétris? Should I give a private link to my music or does just declaring that I'm this obscure artist that no one knows suffice?
  26. In my quest to become the biggest Psytrance genre nerd in the multiverse, I just found out the "Bushprog" genre Apparently, it's related to the sound of the people of the Zenon label from Australia Now here's the thing: I know of a genre that we call "zenonesque" on a website named "Rateyourmusic": Zenonesque genre description on Rateyourmusic dot com ... but look at the aliases. No mention of Bushprog! So uh... is it the same thing as what Rateyourmusic describes as "Zenonesque"? (If yes, I need to fix the huuuuge and universe-destroying mistake of omitting this mention on there!) Does anyone on here know what "Bushprog" it?
  27. Hey, thanks for this website! This is a great idea! However, I have a question: how do new genres get added on there? I realised the lack of "Nitzhonot" and "Nitzhogoa" will be an issue when I'll submit music in these genres... I'm also not sure I saw "Psycore" and "Swamp Psy", but I may be mistaken Edit: Psy-related genre I know that are not on there - Flashcore(not Psytrance, but a sound design technique associated with Psycore and sometimes Hi-Tech as well) - Nitzhogoa - Nitzhonot - Psybounce (not well-defined though, and very mainstream, so most users of that website probably hate it anyways lol) - Psycore - Psystyle / Hardpsy (Hardstyle + Psytrance fusion, it's more associated with the Hardstyle community than the Psytrance community though) - Swamp Psytrance (Forest subgenre) - Greek Uplifting Trance(no official name (usually just named "Uplifting Trance", though that name is confusing because "Epic Trance" is also often called "Uplifting Trance"), lost its Psytrance influences, but emerged from Nitzhonot and is welcomed in Nitzhonot spaces, even those filled with Goa Tranceheads) It may (or may not) also be pertinent to add Tribe / Mental / Acidcore-related genres, since at least in France, Psytrance people usually are Tribe / Mental / Acidcore people first and foremost (but often also make or listen to more internationally Psytrance-y music like Goa Trance) I know a bit of EBM-Darkpsy genre fusions as well Lol sorry, my aggressive passion for music genres got triggered, hope that's not *too* overwhelming for you 😭
  28. Listen to both tracks back to back. Am I the only one hearing the similarity? It really feels like both artists were drawing from the same references. What exactly, I have no idea Space Tribe — Tantra Mantra (1996) Tristan — Close Zen Counters (1996)
  29. Hey everyone, I have been working for some time on a website dedicated to psychedelic/underground music & community. Sometimes I feel most of my friends stay on Facebook just because there is no better place to find parties, but I feel the facebook event system is really underwhelming. I wanted to give them a reason to finally move on from that website, and so there it is. Psychill Space allows you to browse or add your own indoor parties, festivals and other events. They can be then filtered by genres, proximity, the artist profiles are clickable, and if an artist plays at an event - it will be displayed on their page as well. If it looks good to you, promote your event on Psychill Space for free.
