  2. The new Olivia Rodrigo album "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love" Great little pop album
  3. One might disagree with this interpretation, but I don't think anyone can claim to have "corrected him"; the findings are just neuroimaging data. How you interpret them in a philosophical context is open to debate. The problem is that many neuroscientists adhere unquestioningly to materialist philosophy, and can become polemic with those who challenge the status quo. Regardless of whether his analytic idealism is the best theory on consciousness or not, Kastrup is a brilliant mind that is worth our attention. He has also debated many scholars and scientists. There is plenty of material online.
  4. Interesting perspective... however I relistened to 3-4 "newer" IM albums - to rate em also on RYM - and got not much there to be positive. Need to chekc how this one came out but, rating for the others was 1,5 / 5 and 2 / 5 iirc But there cover pics are still GOOD. OKAY EDIT, i have rated 2 newer ones then this " IM The Supervisor" seems this i have not rated yet (at least not found in my list, so gonna listen at the weekend and let u know my thoughts . if anyone is interested in them ? :P) Yes i remember now these 2 were so bad (for MY taste) that i lost interest and not torture me w/ more new stuff from them. But this "IM" is more on the still old side from 2004, so in theory should be not as bad
  5. Guess this is more in the dark techno realm: (as most know i am into darker/indus stuff :P)
  6. DANKE, finally some posts And I will follow ur tips... Here whats said at redit about guy: "Bernardo Kastrup argues that the world is fundamentally mental. A person’s mind is a dissociated part of one cosmic mind. “Matter” is what regularities in the cosmic mind look like. This dissolves the problem of consciousness and explains odd findings in neuroscience." HOWEVER here the post w/ most likes;: FUNNY_NAME_ALL_CAPS • vor 1 Jahr Lost all respect for Kastrup when he misinterpreted fMRI/EEG data from a psychedelics paper and refused to acknowledge his mistake when the scientists behind the paper corrected him. I even like Idealism, just wish this guy wasn't the face of it.

  8. Quietman – Tranquil (Remix By The Art Of Trance) (1994) Etnica & Pleiadians – Plasma Light (2014)
  9. Hey! Your post is actually a bit off-topic for this forum since we focus on psy-trance here, but your track sounds more like Drone Ambient. It's not really my thing, to be honest, but I do know a couple of absolute classics from that genre: Biosphere — Substrata (1997) Irezumi — Endurance (2008)
  10. Last week
  11. Can anyone identify the artist/track name in this youtube video? Or even if you just know any artists that make music like this it would be interesting to know about them!
  12. S.U.N. Project - Energia Magica
  13. Infected Mushroom – IM The Supervisor I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. You know what, I didn't find it quite as awful as people made out. Yeah, their vocals are epically cringey, the full on basses are boring and there are a few cheesey or overly pop melodies, but there are still lots and lots of bits that sound pretty good. Not really a good album, but nowhere near as bad as a lot of Goa fans would have had me believe.
  14. Dear friends, the release of Hallucinations of the Buddha Part II has been postponed to September 25, 2026. This means that the second part of the release will be published on exactly the same date as the first part, precisely two years later. At the moment, Bandcamp displays September 6 as the release date, but this is due to the platform allowing pre-orders only up to 90 days before the official release date. We sincerely apologize to all our listeners for this significant delay. There are several reasons behind this decision: - the tracklist is now 90% complete and we are extremely happy with the results, but some musicians need additional time to finish their work; - we are actively involved in organizing the Balkan Goa Fanatics festival, and it is better to focus our attention on one major project at a time; - the summer period is not the best time for a truly important and defining release, as many of our listeners are away on holidays and attending festivals; We would also like to remind everyone that Hallucinations of the Buddha Part II will be the largest CD release in the entire history of psychedelic electronic music. The compilation will feature 71 tracks spanning Goa Trance, Suomisaundi, Nitzhonot, Ambient, and Downtempo. You can already listen to 25 tracks and pre-order the limited 7CD edition here: https://globalsect.bandcamp.com/album/7cd-va-hallucinations-of-the-buddha-part-ii We would also like to invite everyone to the Balkan Goa Fanatics festival: https://balkangoafanatics.com/ Thank you all very much for your understanding. If anyone is unhappy with this delay, simply send us an email and we will gladly issue a refund: globalsect604@gmail.com P.S. This year is a defining one for our label. We have stepped outside our comfort zone and are actively expanding in every possible direction, so we truly count on your support ❤️ Keep calm and trust in GS, Goa Trance will never die 👽✨
  15. Perhaps go for the books Brief Peeks Beyond and Science Ideated.
  16. Read Bernardo Kastrup's work if you're interested in this kind of topic. IMO his writings have the most clarity among contemporary philosophers; several technical papers but also books that are more accessible to the general public.
  17. Green Nuns Of The Revolution - Atomic Armadillo (1996) from VA - Goa Head Vol. 1 The sample at 03:59 — "They have no word for fluffy" — is taken from the British sitcom Blackadder Goes Forth. The quote appears in Episode 4, Private Plane, specifically in the jail scene, and is spoken by Captain Blackadder (Rowan Atkinson) during a conversation about Germans. The exact position of the sample varies between different releases: The sample placement differs because these releases contain different edits and mixes of the track.
  18. Energia Magica Very nice and beautiful track
  19. Whitlin on the porch most days
  20. Its on a Comp i think...
  21. Yo! A new Nervasystem album, awesome news. =)) I got my tshirt last week and I think it looks really nice, the purple one. Will test it out in the wild this summer and get some dancing hours in it. ZNA for sure, maybe some other psyrave thingy too.
  22. Have you considered it may be from MEMENTO (movie) if the track is named as such Cuz I will do this too if i have a remarkable sample use maybe even the source as title of track .. and MANY do this I noted o rjust some bla that sample says as track name (very easy to find names this way for sonx) EDIT;: addded link: (seems this one gets good reviews, but I had the movie on CD and seems I did not get much into it, maybe I should try again(?): https://www.filmstarts.de/kritiken/25744.html
  23. Sync? strkes again, I was just thinking about posting my EU reviews here from RYM, I rated every album and reviewed 2-3 ... maybe I will relisten and let you know if I find this sample. Was surprised this guy had lots of stuff I did not know or care back in the days except the 2-3 first ones. Some of the "later" ones are even some cringe fest iirc with vox and geetars etc
  24. There is a EU track that features the sample from the movie "The Incredibles" "Girl, I don't want to know about your mild-mannered alter ego' or anything like that. I mean, you tell me you're a super-mega-ultra-lightning-babe, that's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good." Pretty sure this is a sample used in a Electric Universe track... could possibly be a collaboration. What track is it? Thx
  25. Interesting, it must be the album which I could not remember, the ONE I remember is LIME STRUCTURE. But i guess this artist is more on the --- say-- lighter or melodic chill side of things iirc. Which can be cool too ofc. But when it gets too mainstream I also say NONO. So i guess need to check this one out ... and see who´s right you or the ones above..

  27. This is the first one of an upcoming set of single-track releases. Like our previous songs, synthetic soundscapes are combined with a rock instrumentation. This also includes the lead acid bassline which is played with a bass guitar loaded with a lot of effects. In contrast to the most of our other songs, this one comes in a dark and gloomy mood. here you can get a free download code for Bandcamp: band.codes getmusic.fm streaming and download links: Amazon Apple Bandcamp Deezer Spotify Youtube
