But I hadn't heard it since that first time. In the mean time, I had gotten a Medium Records compilation with Der Grosse Kumpo, and while it was a good song I felt it wasn't as good. So I get the record today and listen to Narkotische Fruchte, and I think "I don't recognize this. Is this the same song?" It's not as awesome as I remember it. Then I got bored for some reason, and stopped listening to them for years. Went to Breaks, then Psy again, now coming back to them. Their sound is just so different to me again, and I can't get enough of it right now. I really go through phases in music, where I just gorge myself on one genre until I can't take anymore, and leave it for a few years. I think that's their most accomplished work, although I haven't listened tri repetae yet.
