  1. Artist: Fiery Dawn Title: Trip To The UnderWorld Label: Self Release Date: September 8, 2018 3 more tracks and you coulda had an album. No matter. Fiery dawn is at a sweet spot in his production. Not only is his output just ridiculous, with a 2018 album, another Ep, tracks on various comps, a bunch of down tempo while maintaining what I can only assume is some semblance of a life. I have a life too, it revolves around listening to banger after banger of Fiery D and others output. This ep takes a couple of tippie toes away from the space trance that Dawn is well known for. Trip To The Underworld is the most unique. Coming at you without a distinct melody you know you'll need something else to keep your attention. Fiery know's too, he doesn't fail and has me hooked from that wonderful intro all the way to the end. It certainly is a track that'll take you to the underworld. Next up we got Phantasmagoria. Acid riffs, hard kicks, a squelch or two and a solid baseline are here to carry us away to trance land. Other than a few key changes (which are starting to irk me) the track is absolutely wonderful and full of funk. Even on bandcamp I missed the change between this and the next track. The flow is unreal. But we aren't off the hook yet. Goblins and Trolls comes in even hotter and crazier. Fiery D has either expanded his sound box or developed his repertoire, or both. Either way he is putting it to good use here. The track gets real wild just after the 3 minute mark and it doesn't let up. My favourite here. A straight arm flailing stomper. Temple of Warriors Is a nice little downtempo closer that Fiery D does so well. The Ep is awesome, with a unique first track and two flaming tracks following it up I would recommend getting this on your hard drives. transfer it to your phones, mp3's, listen on the band camp app, what ever you want. I'll be bumping this for a while as I feel like you can hear a strong development in his production and ideas. Good work I do need to ask what the idea behind key changes are? Can I get some artistic input. My position is it disrupts many a good moment in a track making it feel like an unnatural direction change. That being said I get over it pretty quickly and do understand that some notes need a different key to work. But I do know that I've never listened to a track and thought 'This needs to change key right about now'. Grumblings of a guy on a forum. https://fierydawn.bandcamp.com/album/trip-to-underworld
  2. Artist: Jayex Album: Soul Echoes Label: Surface Tension Records Release date: July 29, 2018 1.Intro 2. Tribal Shot 3. Hypnotized 4. Spiral Attack 5. Trancedance Mission 6. Soul Echoes 7. No Matter How 8. Switch On The Night 9. Cybrain Worms 10. Beyond Psychedelic Breaks and goa. Is there anything better? Is there? The innocence of childhood? New love? Friendship? All inclusive cruise ships through the Caribbean? Nope to heck with it all. I got what I need right here. So who is jayex? I haven't heard the name, a little digging got me a killer track on 'art from the heart chapter 2' great album BTW. Heřman Hasík is Jayex's real name, if it sounds like it's a name from the dark forests of the Bouzov Micro-region of the Czech Republic to you that is because you have an eye for the truth. Other alias is Smoke Visions. This albums boasts breakbeat goa and psychedelia. Does it deliver? Oh yea, but let's get to that now. Intro: Straight electricity entering the airwaves. Jayex let's us have a very little taste of what's to come. As always it could be longer but does the trick anyway. Tribal Shot: a hot track that gets better and better the deeper in you go. Vocals sit delicately on top of baselines and synths. At 135bpm I'd be happy to play this in a trance or techno set. Although the goa is distinct. Hypnotized: Jayex slows it down another notch with a heavy psychedelic number. Every aspect is super groovy and comes in and out at just the right time. The little offbeat\breakbeat part at the end of each break is really cool too. Love it. Spiral Attack: Sweet sweet intro, better than honey in my morning tea. And then BOOM! Didn't see that coming. At first wasn't a fan. But weird kicks always take me a little time to get used to. Sure enough by the time we reach the main break I'm well adjusted. 4 listens in I love it. Trancedance Mission: In it now with the Goa, or is it Proto? I Don't know I'm 25, which is still old enough to call something good, which this track certainly is. I normally don't go crazy for key changes but here it's not so bad. The song constantly changes direction and intensity with expert fashion, another great track. Soul Echoes: What does the title track have to offer us? How does a slow build into a climax of breakbeat sound to you? Sounds sort of good to me. A shorter track than the others, and honestly I was expecting something to happen after the breakbeat. You can't let the little things bring you down though, still a decent track. No Matter How: Some ocean sounds and spooky synths open the track up for us. Followed by another unexpected track. I thought the bass could have been jacked up a bunch in this track, instead it feels like something other than a track that belongs on this album. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it, but you know, context. Switch On The Night: Another techno'y track which is easy to stomp your feet too. The baseline is super freaky and soon has you lost in it. fairly minimal but what he Jayex uses he uses well. The outro is neat too. Cybrain Worms: The track title is actually pretty apt, this song is the closest representation I can find to cybrain worms. The breakbeat with that heavy baseline and the chanting in the background is just too hot. One of my favourite tracks. Beyond: Time to close the album and what better way to do it than a full Goa trance track. The baseline is funky, the synths are sweet and the overall vibe is just great. On a few extra listens this track and the intro seem to fit together well. Another favourite of mine. Overall I like the album a lot. The ingredients that Jayex uses to create each track he uses just the right amount of, a little paprika here, a little oregano there. The Breakbeat Goa combination is really hot and the slower tracks are anything but boring. I honestly look forward to hearing more from Jayex and think that this album is a blast. I thought the production of tracks 2 and 3 stood out as particularly good. Here is a link. Oh and you can pay as you please. https://surf10rec.bandcamp.com/album/soul-echoes

  4. https://www.mixcloud.com/Psyt3k/psytek-lost-in-summer-time-2018-goa/ This is the set I played at the Lost in Summer Time 2018 festival in Belgium. I played from 9AM - 11AM after Charris who played an incredible raw and abstract early Psytrance / Forest set. I wanted to bring a selection of tracks that are both abstract and melodic, with both morning melodies and edgy psychedelic parts. Most tracks are oldskool '90s, but I also included a lot of newer tracks. Some unreleased stuff too. The Lepton Head Remix by Adrenalin Run (M-Run + Steve-O) is one of my favorite tracks ever. Enjoy!! Feedback welcome!
  5. Jayex - Soul Echoes (Surface Tension rec. 2018) Jayex's return to the source. Old-school has got a new hypnotic coat, woven from synthetic swirling thread. Special wide stereo chip implanted and bass add-on granted (note: insufficient data slot for generic carousel audio). Inspired by: Moravian folk music, 90's goatrance, 2000s progressive, breakbeat Bandcamp: https://surf10rec.bandcamp.com/album/soul-echoes Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/spacekirtan/sets/jayex-soul-echoes-album-2018 Czech producer Jayex aka Smoke Visions is a long-standing creature on local Moravian psytrance scene. Summers he is roaming open-airs and during winters he is closed in his studio with cat, old laptop and string decos. This album has taken 4 years to be ready and about 25 years of listening to psychedelic electronic music....

Then—between those dreams—in our waking hours, we get to experience things unimaginable to others only a few short decades ago. If one isn’t careful, one might find oneself overloaded with options and full of flight from fervent fears and fraught fallacies of freedom and formulaic fun… From here on out, we mostly keep bringing up the pace and increasing our heart rates. We swirl around with some pads, breaks, acid, and… balloons. There are things old, things new, things borrowed, and things… red? With that, here’s part two of our two-part journey into our reset. Exhale slowly. Start anew. … Featuring music from: Terra Ferma, Excession, Logic Bomb, Nervasystem & Aether, Xploring Inner Space, Sonic Species, Space Cat, MASA, Unknownium, UBAR TMAR, Dino Psaras (featuring Man With No Name), Texas Faggott, Shakta & Moonweed, 7 Seconds Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/goaconstrictor/reset Mixcloud: https://www.mixcloud.com/goaconstrictor/the-goa-constrictor-reset/ Hearthis: https://hearthis.at/goaconstrictor/goaconstrictor-reset/

  9. Maiia303 – Goasana Tracklist: 01. Short Way To Stars 02. Kick Out Your Demons 03. Goasana Bandcamp Release info: Mystic Sound Records presents a new mini-album of one of the label founders, Maiia303 – “Goasana”. Maiia303 is a side project of Alla Vagner, the author of the chillout project Maiia. Her project Maiia303 is inspired by legendary Man With No Name and timeless psychedelia of the global electronic music that was expanding in the 90s, and she tried to create the music clearly for the dancefloor with today’s production standards. This music is an unexpected mix of seemingly different styles of music, from Breakbeat to old school Acid House, from already classic Goa Trance to atmospheric Psy Progressive. 3 tracks of “Goasana” are cooked in a trippy psychedelic style – 2 tracks are 120 bpm Goachill and the 3rd one, ‘Goasana’, is 145 bpm melodic Goa-trance. Powerful beats, rich basslines, bright melodies and, of course, the sounds of the legendary TB303 carry away on an exciting journey. You will find an exciting fresh sound for the dancefloor in this EP. Listen, dance and enjoy!

  11. Artist: VA Title: Dimensional Gateway 5 Label: Neogoa Records Date: December 2017 Tracklist:- 01 - Sun Sith - Arrival 02 - BlackStarrFinale - The Scattering 03 - Lectro Spektral Daze - I Ate Seven Of Them 04 - Xamanist - Star Forming Galaxy 05 - Maan - Field Quanta 06 - Third Eye Channel - Katarza 07 - Proxeeus - Nyarlathotep [Short Mix] 08 - Dragon Twins - Shattered Sense 09 - Negan - Wäwära Well wowie, If ever a compilation could fit into the theme of 2017 (Quality over quantity) this is it. Neogoa Records have released their 5th in a series of Dimensional Gateways. Unlike the dark portals of this world, defined by stability and assurance, dimensional gateways are like tunnels bored with unstable magic that can lead to bliss, new worlds or eternal imprisonment. One thing is for sure, the gateways will always be a journey. As a newbie to the genre it would be foolish of me to say something like ‘This has been quite the year for Goa’ But i’m young and foolish so. This has been quite the year for Goa. We’ve seen some pretty remarkable releases that have been top notch in terms of either production, originality, or nostalgia. While the review section for 2017 has been pretty empty most of what is here is gold. Sun Sith: … Holy shit. Sun Sith are Lunar Dawns Kristijan Ilisinovic and Sasa Precanica. Two lifelong friends who have dedicated themselves to absolutely blowing our minds with music. This has gotta be the darkest work of theirs. And i’m going to peg it as the track of the year. Blackstarfinale: Oh no, how is this melody going to work? Am i about to listen to pure aged chedder? Nope, you better not believe it. The scattering is a mix of uplifting twisted chopped and screwed bliss. Pretty freaking awesome how they work this track. Lectrop Spektral Daze: Yea you did LSD, you ate more than seven didn’t you? You ate a whole bag! Whats that? Only seven per bag? Oh well yea, you ate seven then congratulations! Some of us are too busy studying to just go and eat shrooms in Mexico. Great track, if you like drug references in your songs you’ll like this. Also if you like good songs, well this is one for you my friend. Beautiful beautiful track. Xamanist - Star Forming Galaxy: Every now and then i come across a track on a comp that makes me wonder why i passed that artists album up when i came across it. Progressive trance must have been the flavour of the month when i came across 7, but I tell ya, i’m going back to right my wrongs right after this review. A banging track and another one of my favourites. Aaaaah i love rolling basslines. Maan - Field Quanta: A nice driving bit of trance that starts with subtle bits of acid getting tossed around, easy to dance to though not the most unique track floating around with not much to differentiate it from other producers. The builds are all pretty fun though. Instead of leading to explosions of hysteria they end in slightly disappointing returns to the bassline. Katarza - Third Eye Channel: A less exciting track that gets points for being trippy, though without endless amounts of energy pulsing through it. More of a floating track then an arm flail enducing stomper. Instead of keeping your attention with hard melodies Katara mixes the beat up by skipping kicks and messing around with the basslines. Dragon Twins - Shattered Sense: Some spooky throat noises (Singing? chanting?) starts our journey into what is a remarkable track. The melody is insane, but then it disappears? I could have easily had another 6 minutes of that penetrating my cranium. Man i’m bitter about that, the lead was incredible. I guess that’s how some stories go. Proxeeus - Nyarlathotep (Short mix): We are lucky it’s easier to dance to Proxeeus’ tracks than pronounce them. Everytime i try I end up with a deep and very bad Estonian accent... The track is what you would expect from this wizard, awesomeness. Edit: Holy heck Proxeeus! That final 1.5 minutes. Negan - Warawa: Whats that? Fun basslines? Negan (Did Negans lose part of himself) has got us covered. The track is madness from start to finish, the acid lines are all over the place in the best of ways. Hare Krishna would have indeed been a bad boy. And we made it out the other side. Dimensional Gateways aren't so bad are they, 5 down and we are still kicking. I'm starting to think these things are more stable than i've been told. Wizards and their bullshit friends, just like politicians. https://neogoarecords.bandcamp.com/album/dimensional-gateway-5
  12. Hello! I made funny video with president of Poland.
  13. Have fun hallucinating!
  14. Artist: Merrow Title: Hybridization Label: Self Release Release Date: January 28, 2018 Tracklist:- 1. Hybridization (Lemon head mix) 2. Squid in your plate 3. Buddha's awakening 4. Floating city (Morpheus mix) 5. Xenomorph Prime 6. Cosmic Comics 7. Space Jockey (Speed light mix) A collection of new and old tracks made new again coming at cha. I of course haven't heard any of these before so to Tsotsi they are all new. We are assured plenty of acid and big leads, on that front Merrow delivers big time. The Lemon Head mix of Hybridization doesn't waste any time giving us what is promised, with a thumping kick and wild electro leads being held back until just the right moment before they are released into an explosive climax. one of my favourites on the album and a great way to start. Squid on your Plate comes in hot with more acidic bubbles than the Black Triangle. The main melody soon takes centre stage and throws us into a fit of arm flailing madness as Merrow works his tools. Almost and anthem Squid on your plate does the job and ticks the 'melody stuck in my head' box. Yes We Can Buddhas Awakening is just what you need to stir the great Gautama out of his meditations. Although it would stir the Siddhartha right into another plane of ecstasy. The song explodes at 3 minutes, I love those Astral Projection Enlightened Evolution sounding Vvraaarps. (Of course AP don't own that sound I just don't know what else to describe them as). Another stormer of a track. Morpheus does some work on Floating City not wasting any time with silly intro's. It feels like the track might progress a bit slower than the other but that would be a mistake to assume. the leads build and build into a new melody comes and takes over while the old leads slash away in the back. Pretty epic and a little less conventional (in a good way) than some stuff out there. The song twists and turns right to the end and with every bit being enjoyable. Goa baby. Xenomorph Prime is a mix of Bobo the ape pushing the space buttons to make noises and more of the hectic leads we've had so far. it works well and slays along until it turns itself into one of the most memorable tracks on the album. We get to bounce along to Cosmic Comics (Great song name) nice and early. I'm getting use to knowing what to expect and sure enough another anthem surrounds us. A little less variety than the other songs so far but still plenty to make me smile. Space Jockey comes in with an epic intro to take us home at the speed of light. The kick is not really to my taste but these things generally fall back into the track as leads come in. it take a little longer than normal but finally the tracks other elements come in to keep me engaged. It's probably not the fastest track on the album but it sure feels like it. Everything comes in at such a flurry of epicness that I can't catch a glimpse of what is going on. Entrancing me through the pure speed of the track. Merrow delivers us a hot album of tracks with exactly what he promises. Each track is baked to perfection, crisp on the palette and refreshingly zesty. You could say that the tracks are similar to one another, but you could also say that post modernism has created a world devoid of truth and meaning. You'd be better off saying that American college students can't spot a hammer from a ratchet and simply don't know which tool of philosophy to use for the job at hand. Any whom, Merrow comes in remind us all exactly how epic the anthems of this genre are. The songs don't go for to long and never make your ears tired, instead I find myself always wanting more which the next song always expertly delivers. https://merr0w.bandcamp.com/album/hybridization
