When I lived in Naples FL there was a radio show called 'The Hollywood Spotlight' it was a mix of house music you have never heard. It was awesome weird stuff that I have never heard since. I was so inspired at the new sounds I was hearing (house was wierd then) that I used my Emerson boombox to record the sound of scratching a peice of plastic with really small ridges on it (it sorta sounded like a 303 with the rez up). That was the first recording I ever made.

When I'm into it I can 'lose' 8 hours. When I'm not I can't get anything done and am vary easily distracted. I go in phazes, games then music and back where that will be all I do on my computer. I keep meaning to start a thread on loudness vs dynamic range but it is a big discussion and I haven't got the time.

Since all of you are so helpful and wonderful I was thinking that perhaps you could help me. I am looking for a sample of a crazy person saying something crazy. Perhaps it exists on the net, but since I no longer live in Minneapolis, I no longer have regular access to crazy people. If anything comes to mind I would really apreciate it. The magic of the 303 really derived from the imperfect waveform and the kind of distortion the box produced. There is a huge HUGE difference between them and most digitally derived distortion available in common prodution software.
