  3. I once made a dust cover out of a clear vynal shower curtain for my old Yamaha. I don't have one yet for my moog as the room is relatively dust free with the air purifier in the room.

  7. Yea I hate these hard as hell to get cds! I seem to have run out of the easy cds to get too so I'm stuck with what I have for the time being. It's a good thing I like more then one kind of music.
  8. The Web
  9. I don't continue if I don't like what I do. If I'm not in the right mood, I can't do anything anyway so I leave it alone. :drama: Sometimes for months.
  10. I stopped being a casual listener when I bought No Comment by Front 242 in 1993 and I thought they where talking about Minnesota. Nowdays I think too much music is made to be casually listened to and not to touch on real feelings or expiriences. It is a good and bad thing to get really into something. It makes you isolated in a way, but you appreciate so much more as well. Also IMO there is music and then there is art. They can be one and the same but not usually.
  11. Usually I use my ears
  12. The Killers their first album, I don't have it I am just listening
  13. It is a great album! Listening to it with headphones I can here some low crackle on the first track (before drums), but other then that it is mixed and mastered perfectly.

  16. It is midi INPUT that is important. Your fingers are on the keys making note-on signals which go through the cable into your computer. Unless you want FL Studio to control a hardware device, you don't need to send its midi out anywhere. I would just try all the channels one by one until you get it to work with the vsti. I don't know if the Pro-53 has a midi learn feature or not (try right clicking the pots...shift right clicking etc.) But first make sure you are on the right channel by hitting keys on your controller until you hear noises - and make sure the volume isn't all the way down.
  17. Part of my early expirimental phase Shadow Dancer was made entirely on hardware. Most of the sounds used are origional as well.
  18. Midi setup is easy in FL Studio. Goto options and you will see midi and from there you select the input from the midi in you are using. Your controller should be listed by name. Be sure to have the latest driver for your device (don't be like me). With your midi input selected all you have to do is make sure you have the same channel going out your controller as you have setup for the instument - I use channel 1 a lot. Just set FL's midi out to none for now.
  19. I was just listening to Fatboy Slim - You've come a long way Baby Haven't listened to that in a long time.
  20. Though I don't make much psytrance I might as well post a link to my new site. THE SKY ELECTRIC Industrial, techno, trance, jungle, breakbeat
