  1. On the top notch production part your right on point, but saying the if this was released two years ago part I totally disagree. This sounds very intelligent. It doesnt matter when this is released, it still sounds great!!! I will be picking this one up the day it is released. The 23rd of this month I beleive. Thanks for the samples, Im even more excited about it now.
  2. Has anybody heard anything about the release date of Xerox & Illuminations The Beast Within? Hommegas website only sais coming out April 2007. It is already half way through the month and I havnt even heard an exact date yet, or anything else about it for that matter.
  3. I agree 100% with what your saying here. I have been wanting this one for years now and I just picked it up yesterday. One of my close friends has it so I have heard it alot. This was was on my essential purchases list as it should be on everyones to get list imo(if they dont already have it). I finally found it in Tokyo. Only one store carried it out of the four I looked in. The sound that Quadra brings to the plate here is quite tasty and delicious. With the juiciest formulas and hints of dark atmosphere, this has already established itself as a classic in my book. To bad his newer album didnt sound anything like this one. This is light years ahead of his one nation under trance album. He should have stuck to this sound. Or at least not gone down the same boring fullon path that everyone uses constantly.
  4. I just picked this one up yesterday. I know I know im only 2 years late on this one. I have been wanting this comp. for quite some time now. I love how the melodies flow perfectly together with the atmospheres. They really compliment each other. This was well worth the money I paid for it. This one still sounds amazingly fresh in 2007. The slower track at the end is very nice to. Good job Vik. One of the best of 2005 IMO. 8/10
  5. I just picked this one up today. After lighting up a fat ass bowl of the sweet chocolate I listened to it. There are so many different feelings I experienced when listening to this. A few to words that would describe this one would be scary, dark, nightmarish, suspenseful, twisted, raw, spooky, creepy, chaotic, insane, psychotic, hard, eerie, trippy, and mysterious. Sounds ranging from a washing machine to robotic monkey noises.Sometimes it feels like your in some sort of circus or carnival in the deep dark forest. Lots of crunchiness. I love the samples that they used in Non Profit, they are from the movie Sin City. And FUTURISTIC. This is the futuristic raw dark machine sounding, cutting edge music with robotic melodies and electronic atmospheres that will take over dance floors all over the world in the near future. (I hope ) This is the best Dark sounding psy that I have heard since Derangos Tumult. This one is about to get alot of play in my house in the near future. I would reccomend this album to any type of psytrance lover.
  6. I picked up Quarda-Serotonia 2004 Intergalactic-The Future 2005 Penta-Horn Please 2007 today in various locations around Shibuya. Im about ready to light up a fat bowl and enjoy
  7. Tell me what you think of the Domestic album.(if you havnt already heard it) I included it on my best of 2006. It is great IMO, and it didnt get the attention that it deserved. It kind of got overlooked.
  8. Thanks for the heads up. That way I wont be anticipating them to soon.
  9. Cosma -Simplicity ----------------TIMELESS------------------------
  10. Where did you find the info about the Allaby and Laughing Buddha albums that are coming out soon? I went on Nanos website and didnt see any mention of these two.
  11. I disagree with you. I thought their 5th album was great! Especially the Shining Faces track. But then again that was my introduction to MFG, so I cant compare it to the 4 previous albums they released.
  12. 1. Carbon Based Lifeforms-Hydroponic Garden (Ultimae) 2. The Ayahuaska Experience-compiled by dj Ayawaska (Trancelucent) 3. Vibrasphere-Archipelago (Digital Structures) 4. Alien Project-Midnight Sun (Phonokol) 5. Total Eclipse-Update Files (Arcadia) 6. Astral Projection-In The Mix (Phonokol) 7. Talamasca-Illusion World (Arcadia)
  13. album ELECTRONIC HIGH 2, a track by LOGIC BOMB called Drop out.
  14. It seems to me by looking at everyones pictures of their music collections, that everybody keeps the actual album cases that the cd originally came in. I take out the cd and booklet and discard the actual cd album plastic case. If it is a cd where the booklet is actually part of the album case, I will cut the front cover and tracklisting on the back out and throw away the remains. If it is the rare occasion that the booklet is part of the albums casing and it also has another booklet insert inside, then I will keep the cds original album case. If I kept every one of my cds original cases than I would have a stack of over 360 cd cases lying around the house which would take up way to much room. So if I were to take pictures of my collection it would have to be an individual picture for each page inside my case logic cd cases.
  15. Somewhat related, but with a hell of alot more options in breaking your cds down into different catergories. I was unaware of this thread until now.
  16. I have never orgaznized alphabetically or by year before. Those are two good ideas that i might consider trying.
  17. I know this might sound like a very insignificant topic to many, but I'm sure there are some out there that struggle with different ways of how to organize their cds within the case. Do you think it is better to: A. Organize by type of music? ex. Dark psy, Full on, Ambient, Progressive, Chill out, etc..... B. Organize by Record label? some record labels release various types of electronic music. ex. both full on and ambient, thus it would put them in different areas of your cd case if you organize by Music type. C. Organize by artist? Some artists release albums on several Record labels, thus separating them if you organize your cd case by Record label. D. Organize by separating Compilations and Albums? Once again if you organize your cd case this way record labels will not be together. I would be interested in reading and appreciate some peoples opinions and views on this topic
  18. I think labels such as Tipworld, Nano, Twisted, 3d Vision, Sigma, and Sirius Have and still continue to release not only good artist albums, but great compilations as well. Recent good Compilations: 1. Mother Hackers-compiled by Q-Master (Sigma) 2. Full Power-compiled by XP Voodoo (Sirius) 3. 1200 Micrograms Remixed (Tipworld) 4. Origin Stage Three-compiled by Ans (Nano) 5. God Save The Machine-compiled by Lucas (Tipworld) 6. And newcomer Record Label. Fractal Energy-complied by dj Solaris (Fractal) I hope this list of record labels and compilations will set you on the right path with the right kind of music you are looking for. I know they did and do for me. The list is mainly Full-on but the sounds are widely varied.

    Shift-Byte Me

I only enjoyed track #4, Pagan Sunrise, besides for that track this album is disposable IMO.
  20. Tristan-Chemisphere Focus.................you aint got a body no more son!!
  21. I just picked this one up the other day myself. I was waiting for someone to do a full review on it. I must say that I am very pleased with this purchase. I enjoyed The original Depends On You much more than the remix on AMDs Big Fish. I agree that there is no break through sounds or styles here, but this is a solid purchase with top notch production.
  22. Well when is it actually coming out? Did you check out Transwave-Backfire yet? I just picked it up today at HMV in Yokohama.
  23. Listening to this for me is like being introduced to trance music all over again for the first time. My head has been split open by this compilation and the contents of my brain have fallen out all over my room. Each piece becoming one with a different track on this hypnotizing, mesmerizing, magical MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!!!
  24. I just picked up: Transwave-Backfire and Tristan-Chemisphere. I havnt listened to the Tristan album in full yet, but........................................................................................................ The Transwave comilation is already blowing my mind, And I havnt even finished listening to it yet I have only been listening to psytrance since 2002 and I have never heard anything like this before. It is opening new doors for me into other worlds. This is what everyone is always talking about "back in the day". All of these songs were produced back in the mid nineties. You cant even compare this to anything coming out these days. It is not even the same kind of music. This is an already must have for me and my collection. A GEM!!!!!!! Holy shit!!!!!
  25. There is one more album I forgot to mention. ASTRAL PROJECTION-OPEN SOCIETY
