  1. I might have seen that store before without ever really noticing. Konandai is about 3 or 4 stops from my house. As for Mitsukyo, Im not sure where that is. Where are you from? Do you go to alot of partys out here?
  2. IM ACTUALLY NOT LISTENING TO PSYTRANCE NOW. IM LISTENING TO TRANCE. IT IS A MATT DAREY COMILATION CALLED UPFRONT TRANCE RELEASED UNDER AN AMERICAN LABEL CALLED WATERDANCE. THE SONG IM LISTENING TO IS EIGHTIES (OZGUR CAN RMX) BY AN ARTIST CALLED YILMAZ ALTANHAN. MY I TUNES LIST ON THE COMPUTER IS ON SHUFFLE.
  3. Yes, wasnt the store called space in space or something like that. It was located near hmv near Yokohama station. There is a good store in Shinjuku called Psychedelic Garden, but they cater more to psychedlic clothing and posters and that sort of thing. They do have some cds though. I never heard of Disc Union before. Is that located in Shibuya? Im in Negishi. Are you familiar with that area?
  4. I know in Tower Records and HMV everything sounds so damn good on those headphones they have. I also avoided most of the crap due to the fact that I had friends buy the albums before me, thus saving me the money. I also go to Quintrix Disc Lounge and Cisco in Shibuya quite frequently. I actually live in yokohama at the moment.
  5. I DONT KNOW IF ANYONE HAS DONE THIS BEFORE, BUT I WAS THINKING ABOUT IT AND THOUGHT THAT IF THE BEST OF 2006 WERE MENTIONED THEN WHY NOT THE WORST OF 2006. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO HEAR EVERYONES OPINIONS ON THE ABSOLUTE MOST HORABLE PSYTRANCE THAT CAME OUT LAST YEAR. IM NOT TRYING TO BE NEGATIVE, I JUST FIGURED THAT SOME ALBUMS DESERVED THE ATTENTION OF BEING THE WORST. HERE ARE THE ABSOLUTE MOST BORING, UNINSPIRING, AND DISPOSABLE ALBUMS OF 2006 IN MY OPINION. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, ALL EQUALLY AWFUL. 1. PARANORMAL ATTACK-PHENOMENA (CHEMICAL CREW) 2. DALI-HECTIC (HOMMEGA PRODUCTIONS) 3. SIRIUS ISNESS-TRANCE FUSION (PHANTASM RECORDS) 4. MEKKANIKKA-INTOXICATED (PLANET B.E.N. RECORDS) 5. ESKIMO-BALLOONATIC PART 2 (PHANTASM RECORDS) 6. WIZZY NOISE-SABOTAGE PART 2 (EXPOSURE PRODUCTIONS) 7. TACTIC MIND-TOP OF THE HILL (COM.PACT RECORDS) THERE ARE NO LIMITS TO YOUR VOTES. YOU CAN CHOOSE AS LITTLE OR AS MANY AS YOU FEEL DESERVE THE SPOTLIGHT FOR THE WORST OF 2006!!!
  6. Release Date Feb. 16, 2007 Track List: 01. Long Long Arms (Joti Sidhu Remix) 02. White On Ice 03. Do This 04. Not Crazy 05. Versace On Acid 06. Metaphysical 07. New Sensations Remix 08. Trance Pose 09. Live Fast, Die Young (Shanti Remix) 10. Chaotic Biotic (PTX Remix) I'm a bit surprised that no one has done an in depth full length review on this one yet. I must say; this album was my first introduction to Joti Sidhu and I cant compare it to his earlier stuff but this is some of the juiciest grooviest psytrance I have ever heard. This is exactly what I was waiting for, a thirst quencher. I would love to hear other peoples reviews and opinions on this album. I highly recommend this album to anyone who enjoys music that breaks boundries. Samoles: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/neu/neu1cd019.html
  7. I just bought this compilation a few hours ago. Im listening to it right now.You cant help but get up and dance. Im on track five. This compilation is already so astoundingly refreshing and unique at the same time that if the next four tracks were complete garbage it still would be worth the money that I paid for it. Compilations these days only have like two or three good tracks on them and the rest are just fillers, this on the other hand is one powerful and diverse song after the other. Nano are on the top of their game lately. I just finished listening to this compilation now and I must say this blows anything out of the water coming out these days. Even the Eskimo remix sounded so innovative. This one is gonna get alot of play time in the near future. This one will blow the peoples minds in and out of different realities. Listening to this compilation might make one oblivious to the world around them as it did for me. I highly recommend this compilation for any serious fan of psytrance. Origin Stage Three represents a very mature and well put together compilation. A bad track doesnt exist.
  8. Finally, some one agrees with me. Consistent psy with just the right amount of everything you want to hear without over doing it.
  9. 1. ALIEN INVASION 2. FEARLESS 3. AIRWALKER 4. FENIX 5. GHOST IN THE MACHINE 6. WORKALIEN 24 / 7 7. SUPER CHIMPANZEE LEVEL 8. AI, AI, AI CARAMBA 9. SUPERNATURAL Lamat to me is a very new artist. I was unaware of his first album master control until I listened to his new album in a store in tokyo called quintrix disc lounge. I have to say this album surprised me alot. I was expecting nothing, but what I heard when I popped it into the cdj was much more. Refrehing sounds bursting with energy. This is what morning full on should sound like more often. The melodies here are a bit more complex than your average full on album these days. they keep your attention. There is not a bad track on this album. Lamat brings a solid sound with crisp melodies. Even in some tracks like track #3 you get that old trancy warm spiritual sound that makes you close your eyes and immedietely escape reality as you float along with the sounds. Imo I think this is the path some artists such as astrix should have gone down. There is just that little something, that extra special touch in each and every song that makes it stand out from all of the others. Top-notch production. FAVORITES: 2,3!!,4!,5!!7,9
  10. 1. SLUG-ELEMENTAL (NEXUS-MEDIA) 2. THE COMMERCIAL HIPPIES-IF YOU CANT STAND THE HEAT (NANO) 3. DOMESTIC-ART MAKING MACHINE (HOMMEGA PRODUCTIONS) 4. PANICK-LAB O MATIC (NEUROBIOTIC) 5. KOXBOX-U TURN (TWISTED) I picked these albums because they are a fine raw medium to full on and dark psychedlic. Sure they are full on but the styles here tend to be a darker side still not being considered dark psy.
  11. Does anyone happen to know the song on the website http://www.3datelier.com? when you go to this website and click the psychedelic tab. there is is a different song for each tab. The one under the psychedelic tab is just great. Some one please help.
  12. Artist: h20 team:Alien Project,Space Cat,Quadra etc... Title: i-drop Label: h20 records-solstice music japan TRACK LIST: 1. H2O TEAM (ALIEN VS THE CAT + QUADRA) - iDose 2. SPACE CAT vs PIXEL - Clear Test Signal 3. SAVE THE ROBOT - I Am A Robot 4. SHANTI - Proton Pump 5. QUADRA - Lsd Came Falling Down 6. DYNAMIC - When You Mix 7. ALIEN PROJECT vs SIRIUS ISNESS - Music 8. DUAL CORE - Synergy 9. ORION - Surreal Expansion 10. SPACE CAT - Kreak Part 2 発売元:SOLSTICE MUSIC 販売元:SOLSTICE MUSIC Release Date: 2007.1.15 First of all, when you think of artists like alien project and space cat and quadra and sirius isness coming together for the debut album of alien projects new record label your thinking this better be some outfuckingstanding production considering you have what, three separate people producing one track on some of the tracks here. (at least thats what I thought) I shouldnt have thought to soon. Im not going to go through the tracks one by one but I will say there are a few good tracks on here that make you nod your head and make you wanna go out and dance. There is some substance to this style. However, many times it sounds so generic. This cd is a prime example of how psytrance is getting further and further away from the psychedelic concept. There is just something missing. So uninspiring and nothing innovative or special. This compilation could have been released 2 or 3 years ago and it still wouldnt be pushing the envelope. Where has alien project gone since the aztechno dreams days? Stand out tracks imo: 1,4,9,10 At the time being I give this compilation a 6/10
  13. This album is how all full on should sound coming out nowadays. When I listen to this I cant help but move. Great production, with good rythem, techy sounds, and tight bass lines that just keep you going. This album stays very interesting. Every time i listen to it, it just gets better and better. If I were to introduce someone new to psytrance this is the album I would play for them first. A futuristic, full power album. 9/10
