Eastern Influenced Goa and Psy trance
Sideffect... replied to Penzoline's topic in General Psytrance
wtf on topic: that track is pretty good, nice detail, considering the fact that it is not mastered and 160kps why can't you produce more ? your desktop is not good enough or what ? -

word taken !!!!!!!! the mastering is not that needed, it's wave ? you can ask nemo if he has the time -
although I liked progressive from the beginning vibrasphere never was my thing, but thanx for the tip, who knows
-
true, some are very nice, short said first, some fullon artist made the choice to create night fullon what is when it comes to fullon my favourite and that is more remarkable compared to earlier years and let's hope there is more to come, old skool is still alive and kicking thanx to suntrip, everybody knows that, no need to go in detail progressive has let me down a bit, but then again at last after all this time the concept 'minimal' really envolved this year and got an actual content with certain borders... I love it, minimal has always been seen as an influence in another subgenres with the following discussions and misunderstandings. but this year it evolved fast and with quality, more of this ! considering ambient the distant system concept that was started with asura is back and that's great

Eastern Influenced Goa and Psy trance

yes you are a dick but not in words (kidding off course ) I do agree it's indeed not a free cd if you don't get it psychical like you mentioned, but I was thinking what everyone thinks reading the earlier posts that no label would ever put the effort and money and give it away for free, so a web release is the only option and I doubt it would be mastered, radi like I say talk the talk upload some of your tracks who have a more authentic oldschool sound than Suntrip artists. there's to much assume and no action... if they are that good, nothing to be afraid off, even AFGIN gave his first release (or combination of tracks) away for free, I hosted the release a long time, so no problem in hosting yours, max speed and space... -

a free cd can be downloaded on the Internet, but I don't think any label will take the cost of printing, mastering etc... radi, but if you talk the talk, you walk the walk make good tracks that labels want to release, that's how it works, good luck -
in less then 3 months it's 2009

pulse compilations are very well known, some tracks are rare but most are not considering their time age imo... great input frozen dream, just like @ the review of whicked hayo, 50 procent of your info is incorrect, I don't even bother correcting it, I'm not a kindergarden teacher

the end of code 69 is amazing, the use of spirals is absolute and perfect, to bad it starts with a rather boring baseline imo, Dimension 5 uses those in advancement in the first album but never in melodies.... it's very hard to find them and imo still an a part of goatrance that should get more attention hara gobi - 303 gold is great but not that full, more floating... the deedrah rmx of shakta is indeed a very good example, some filteria, his latest track birds lingva franca or the rmx from crop circles - lunar civilisation I know them by head most of them but I'm to busy right now preciously, I'll try to post more... good taste btw

yeah you're sure , how can you on topic, mystica has some tracks on their debut album (not the one man game album) poly 61 released an amazing track when it comes to eastern influenced goa, but I forgot the name, anoebis will know, he identified it a long time ago (maybe find it in the search) that's only one track, but it's one of the best try Bodh gaya - ayahvasca you might like it -
since off topic is closed for a moment and we had an active 'minimal' topic I was thinking creating a new one, since lately when it comes to electronic music minimal is all I listen too, had some good experiences this summer, heard some nice dj sets and I love it number one at this moment and listening right now : Gui Boratto - Chromophobia (I like the way he uses his kicks and does not overload the bass what some do imo) a list of nice tracks I pulled of the Belgian psy forum (copy/paste) alter breed - pigs and cows miki litvak & ido ophir - shnorkel (dousks excl. gems edit) oxia - domino antix - blew (beckers rmx) la baaz - dance floor propeller Minilogue - The Leopard (extrawelt remix) Butch - Earth heartthrob -signs Sarah Goldfarb - Sport Billy James Holden - idiot james Holden - Lump Ricardo Tobar - El Sunset Nathan Fake - Out House (Valentino rmx) Nathan Fake & Extrawelt - The Sky was Pink Stephan Bodzin - kerosene Stephan Bodzin - Liebe Ist Ellen Alien - Jet Ellen Alien - Sehnsucht Ricardo Tabor - Made Fairmont - Gazebo Martin Buttrich - Hunter deadmau5 - not exactly deadmau5 - faxing berlin dave swayze - goldwave guy gerber & shlomi aber - sea of sand Exercise one - All Out van op Lan music David Labedeij - You be bob Polder (Lauhaus en David Labeij) - Dirty ol burt Dan Berkson en James What - If i was a man (Pokerflat) Marcin Czubala - Super Conny Perfect Stranger & Dj Pena - Ode Oa Sol (Moonbeam Rmx) Antix - Seven Seas (FM radio Gods & Tapwatr rmx) Positive Thinking (Sam Ball rmx) by Dj Pena moonbeam - cocoon (sunset mix) D-Nox & Beckers - Keep On (Velkro & Ido Ophir rm shoot and share :posford:

If this isn't knocking woods I don't know what is, nevertheless from all subgenres I listen to, Dark psytrance is the one I gave at least attention. The only dark album I liked a lot this year, was from Furious called uncanny beats I think. So I have no idea what is new or already been made considering dark psytrance (evolution) … Whicked Hayo are the first Belgium psy artist releasing a dark album. I should be more objective at the other hand so why not give it a try. I don’t know how psycho dark has become but I can say ‘soundbreakers’ has an actual fucked atmosphere. There is not even a bit of happiness . From baseline, sounds to samples ending in an atmosphere of darkness and hardcore, psytrance. The baselines are, what is my definition of dark psytrance, when it started evolving, Hard, fast, dry…. Although recently many other dark artist are using a more fullon tinted baseline Whicked hayo stays to the program and brings us how it should be. Each track has almost the same dancefloor killer level, They have good advancements. Some have a climax compared too others what are more a continue of psychedelic sounds floating around. It’s a controlled chaos, not overloaded. They keep it busy. The climaxes what is more the pattern of a melody is not that special. It’s noticeable how they prefer the psychedelic level to melodies. Once they start playing those layers of little sounds crawling from one speaker to another the fun really starts. Balancing on the border of psycho. There are maybe 2-3 climaxes in this release what I don’t fancy but dark lovers will maybe experience as a very good dark climax. Enfin, the baselines (kick, base) are different in each track, they use different patterns changing two until four times a track and that’s when we become to what whicked hayo is at it’s best. Breaks ! Some just suck you away, impossible to predict and create variety at a high level. Such a moments contribute to the psycho, psychedelic and speed level, counting on the fact something new is yet to come. Ad the specified way they play their sounds and we have a full album, with a nice versus Hilight tribe intro which we all know. If you like it loud, hard, fast, tough, rough this is what you are looking for. Enjoy

orion, he is like space tribe, electric universe, mfg, one the greatest artist who started releasing in the beginning, and still is present and can be surprising at the same time, but I don't see him mentioned a lot...

that I can't anymore, I'm still a bit amazed we have two groups, one who listens all the time basicly and a group who listens one maybe two cd's a day what is imo not a lot... how do you keep track ?
-
that would be awesome, space cat 1999 style, or sandman, cydonia, some hux flux :posford:

Belgium is very good, psyshop isn't that far to deliver, suntrip is here sometimes you can find it in "so called" commercial stores, I ordered 6 years ago "infected mushroom - classical mushroom" in one of the biggest music stores and it took back then 6 months , but now you can find fullon releases if you search... there's a psychedelic trance store in my town, 1 km from here.... I'm might say I'm very lucky, but I always thought psytrance isn't that popular in America, reading your post it still seems to be, Holland, Germany and Belgium always have been very into electronically music, even on the radio, all that commercial house (now it's better), but damn

Can we a favorites forum in the general forum?
Sideffect... replied to Jon Cocco's topic in General Psytrance
would make it easier true, they can use the search also and indeed it creates new discussions, sharing thoughts about albums... seems not necessary but not a bad idea -
there's a track on the compilation goa spirit 2 where they only use tribal, it's only one track, but a very good one, http://www.discogs.com/release/284440 one of those tracks Sheyba Trance Africa Express (9:12) Der Dritte Raum Trommel Machine (6:27)
