  1. ok just checking
  2. clicking as we speak :posford:
  3. disagree, it's your fav subgenre, the ear gives more attention according what you like, best mastering can't be linked with one specifiek sound from a specifiek region, you have good and bad in each subgenre.... can't be true, what can be is that you notice that some albums sound better mastered, If you listen to an album through headphones + speakers + second soundsytem it's perfect appreciable... Rastaliens - freestyle for example I can't listen to on headphones mp3 player, it's not powerful enough, it looses everything they tried to achieve, If the mastering was done differently it would have been brilliant, although the bad mastering it still had a big success because of the content. On my speakers I adjust the EQ... Make the best of it, bought it original off course to have the best mastering copy...
  4. sweet, possible link to the release ? +10
  5. according to you off course, although mastering should have the same conclusion for each listener I guess, mastered by silicon sound (or their original name), always good imo Ott used to be, don't know if that's still the case ? that's why this topic, share your experience, cause I have less when it comes to mastering (not the concept but 'who mastered') and it's becoming more and more important these days in electronic music imo...
  6. the answer is no, internet is enough, and compared to other music genres, I have the feeling when it comes to electronic music people less mind who the person is behind the music, in my case, I REALLY do not care, genres, labels, releases all what you want, but what colour of underwear infected mushroom is wearing (in a matter of speech) is pure waste of time, in rock that is indeed different, those magazines are often combinations of lots of advertising about clothes, gadgets etc... and some full backgrounds for upcoming talent according to that magazine, I do not want read info about a band that I never heard before, even my favourite band can suck my balls the music they provide and the contribution to the entire psychedelic "scene" can be interesting but is always to the point and shortly mentioned in a good review,
  7. it's not bad but they should not have released it using the name "Delta" what created imo a high level of expectations...
  8. agree, but to me that's not a variable that influences my perspective, if you check out full on you could say the same thing, seems like you had it totally with overloaded trance (no matter what genres/subgenres and prefer a more minimal/progressive direction ? correct me If I'm wrong off course
  9. on my planet we call those 'keepers'
  10. orion, it's one of the best artist, since the beginning of time his releases have always been decent quality and sometimes revolutionary (release 2003) made some great goatrance/psychedelic trance and fullon albums, never disappointed me, never actual surprised me too, always albums that had to grow, re-discovered etc... I like artist that I can count on.... and respect that
  11. true, but then again sometimes it amazes me a bit when I don't follow how fast I get an overview of what I missed and where things are heading too, off course internet is your biggest friend in that matter although that could be a false perspective the mind creates, I try and buy as much as I can ! but the time of revelations is gone of course, when I started listening to goa, or in other music styles, again then again we are all humans of comfort and revelation is a emotion, I'm wondering how big the difference would be taking into account discovering for example pleiadians when I was 17 compared to now (26)
  12. does not happen a lot, but this kind of trance if definitely - not what I want - looking for - ever have been looking for - or ever will it's different but not my style
  13. imaginary sight is indeed one of kind
  14. indeed but somethings wrong with that baseline
  15. downloading thanx
  16. true, but we are talking about a genre who already had it's mainstream years and after that disappeared it (has) created it's own features, there was a whole period where goatrance was not produced anymore (or almost nothing), now it rises again many years laterz, imo a lot when it comes to evolution/progress taking into account we are talking about a music style/genre. Nowdays it has become different on some levels, some artist more then other, if filteria says it himself as a producer for me that's something to consider, and I agree with him considering the music he makes, great track 'back on earth' btw, I prefer more subtle goatrance or ? +1 true, I'm not inventing, just noticing reading reviews that people always will refer too artist and genres, we are talking about music, it's a main variable imo the name itself does not matter as long it fits in a time frame or period, only the word "old" can be used, which is not the case, cause I'm listening to afgin - light up the darkness and damn :posford: , keeps doing it the term neo-goatrance does not sound that bad anymore it's short so serious , was just wondering , but very interesting...
  17. thanx, sorry for the laziness
  18. now it's 2009, the best ambient release of 2008, definitely
  19. one of the best suntrip releases, the atmosphere is divine (matter of speech) too bad I still haven't got the time to write some more, for me it's a milestone in suntrip releases, same artist creating different compilations using the same atmosphere, atmosphere concept albums are brilliant
  20. ok we all have different completion or signification something like that, still let's give the bloody child a name goatrance is fine neo-goatrance, aaaaah don't mind, it's a name, shoot ! edit: I just did were just talking
  21. is this the official topic like we have each year where all votes will be counted ? just top 5 albums ? if so, let me know and I'll edit
