  1. lemurians? nothing after input flip in 2005...
  2. hey thanks a lot of your feedback. Yeah I have thirty tracks rendered. I wouldn't say any of them are near releasable, but I don't expect them to be. Right now I am focusing more on learning techniques, forming ideas, trying not to get to bogged down by the details right at this second. Once I have refined my skills in music making i think I will work on the final polish a little bit more. Thanks for the tips on arrangement as well, I will definitely take that into account. I took your advice and started up a soundcloud account. I uploaded the ones here, plus a few more which are a bit older. you can find them here... more feedback would be great

  4. Psykovsky's Da Budet Album, would have to probably the craziest piece of work in the entire scene. Just incredible. As for individual tracks... This one is probably up there... secret trick-Funkadelic It was only ever released on the United nations of Trance-Russia Compilation...one of the most uplifting pieces of modern psy to have ever graced the planet. Full of wonderful acid textures, alien jungle atmosphere, and sun drenched melodies. Hard to find, but if you can definitely worth it. Lemurians-input flip(procs remix) The way this track paints dark landscapes in your mind is just incredible. Ghreg on earth-Metafictional Quagmire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT9YnkeDDCA
  5. I heard several new uptempo tracks from Solar Fields back in June, so there was definitely new material even then. Very excited for it!
  6. I have been learning music production now for just over a year. So far i have completed roughly thirty tracks. and probably didn't complete another 30 on top of that. Each track brings me a little more knowledge and a better understanding of musical concepts. I am posting two of my very latest completed tracks, and i would love to hear some feed back. I definitely understand that I need to work still on my eqing and the final mixdown, but I do think my ear is getting better over time, which is all i can really hope for at this point. the first track: The day is night http://www.mediafire.com/?mnzzmmoimdi the second: Some vision for the future http://www.mediafire.com/?moztkujcg0l hope you enjoy
  7. I really urge people to check out this release. Some of the best chill out to have come out in 2009, If not the very best. Favorite tracks are 2,3 and 5. Its a shame more people don't appreciate Koan/Vacuum Stalkers as masters of music making.
  8. Dpn't make music because you wanna be famous or make money. Do it because its your love and passion. :posford:
  9. I would say that its generally psytrance enough.
  10. Does anyone have any information about the next Son Kite album? There was an update in March of last year, saying that the new album would be out on BNE at some point in time. I guess that Label is now dead and gone, and it's been a few months and no new news about whats going on. Have they signed onto a new label?
  11. Hey there, this is a track I made, very influenced by extrawelt.. let me know what you think! http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?wnwm3wjajnj
  12. right now transdimensional isn't leaving my cd player...been listening to it almost once a day for the last few weeks. i love the emotional highs that the album takes you on
  13. This is an awesome release. Any fans of Goa should check this album out. lots of nice melodies
  14. I didn't know what to expect when i grabbed this album. i was really surprised with how good it is. Almost all the tracks are top quality, but my favorite so far is the fromem ory track.
  15. I think he is definitely trying to do something a little different with psytrance, even if it does have definite hallucinogen influences. Very psychedelic, but some of the tracks seem to run out of ideas by the end of them. Favorite tracks are 5 and 6.
  16. You should also check out Hydraglyph's "Electric Feed" as it's a remix of their "hand that feeds"track.
  17. I started listening when I was 13, back in 2000. Started off with some infected mushroom and Juno Reactor
  18. I don't think that asking people here on psynews will give you the same results as it would if you were to ask the general population. Most people who are into psy, and I'm going to say especially those here on psy news have fairly particular tastes when it comes to listening to music. I can't see many psy heads devoting much time into finding something worth listening to on commercial radio. Now, I was just recently approved for a one hour radio show at my cities local independent radio station (cfru, based out of guelph, Canada) and I plan on filling my airwaves with as much psy as possible. And i know that I am probably not really going to reach many fellow psy nerds, but i do hope to get some exposure for the scene, and electronic music in general. I don't think that radio is a dead medium, it's just one of the many options now available. There are people listening out there, who have no idea how to get access to this kind of music, and probably wouldn't ever seek out psytrance. But maybe one day they will come across it on the radio, and get exposed to a who genre they never knew existed.
  19. Giving this album the first listen through right now. Definitely one of my favorite releases this year. Very psychedelic!
  20. as long as they left the Mercedes in the garage this time
