What music are you listening to right now?
Oopie replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
isn't MFG's Illumination very "emotional" too? and so is hallucinogen and transwave too, maybe the way they represent the euphoria is a bit different. (man, you just can't say transwave's MDMA (nice word play btw ) or Hallucinogen's shamanix isn't fierce!) now playing... nothing... fixing... underhead - le p'tit matos not as good as ukiro says it is... ( ) but not bad either! -

yes, the best track from MFG in my mind. etnica - nice toy (oh, we follow the "best track from x" fashion, nice) -

Aavepyörä - Just Before Sundown the quality is pretty much the same with original cd and burned copy. however, it's nice to support good artists and the artwork is quite to my liking too! -

I've thought to check out what's scozbor about. unfortunately I'm so lazy to dig up new music at the moment. maybe something from library at most. you know mushie, I compromised a bit with the age policy thing and made the application too. I got answer that I was too young, just as I thought. my explorations will take place with my own judgement then I guess.. I'm listening to koneveljet's release from last year "hoax". It's breakbeatish electro with some nice other spicy elements added. But I really don't like the slower tracks that much... they really rocked when I saw them live (with eat static). BoOm! -

I'm listening to disco! ....tron by legowelt. I always listen to legowelt. I can't be arsed to find new electro. Maybe there's no need. -
indeed. it's taste what "hits" you the most. there's no objective value to this. but on the side note, it's happy if you've found something that touches you :]

I went to library to borrow some history books and decided to look for some music also. There's always some fascinating stuff there! right now I'm testing what this k-klass - universal is abouthh! I really enjoy that "raw" synth sound of the 90s beginning. oh and cheesy "don't stop moving" vocals are a must. -
dude that happened to me to when I tried to score some rare vinyls (for very cheap even) better luck next time hey and I'm sure you can get koxbox's "the great unknown" for less than 10 dollars too. I've never bought anything from ebay that's over 10 dollars, except ubar tmar's "fusion". (and I've still gotten some goodies )

I think sharing things in digital form is absolutely wonderful. There's no pollution when there's no material form of the music. And it also gives many people chance to hear music they'd otherwise miss! I wouldn't have heard all those obscure old goa 12 inches if it wasn't for sharing. Sharing... what a wonderful word. giving, taking, sharing... yes, yes, YES!

oh, I've grown to the habit where I explain why I like something, or do not. It's only my personal point of view of course, but if one writes "artist - track" it's as good as giving me a post with "." on it. Where do we need this topic if there's absolutely no contribution/discussion? I try to make this thread more vivid from my part, do I succeed? That's another story. I'm not complaining to them who just like to name the track they like without further explanations, as I really am no one to say the absolute ways to behave and contribute. I always don't grasp what others are after, but that doesn't mean they don't have some good point there. Did I went too off topic? Maybe I did. Let's get back on topic shall we! Aphex Twin & Robert Miles - Rare Duet this is probably misnamed... the usual mp3 syndrome. but it's a great track. this is what richard can be when he gives 100% effort. -
everything till "another world" is eh... "buyable" (?)

cycles of life dj_purity_control - 28-Jan-05 05:08 PM "Cycles Of Life" is the one psychedelic trance song that can still move me to tears every single time I hear it. 100% perfect from a musical point of view. Total sonic fierceness, metallically resonating synths, and an alien mating call. It all builds up to a pressure point, and suddently the harder part drops off and we're left with the gated choir rising up from the darkness... and for a few seconds, everything's right in the world. well said btw why haven't there been made more tribute tracks like: http://www.discogs.com/release/202257 ?? I think that's a nice gesture

legowelt - an obnoxious affair on tape and some say afx was the innovative stuff in the 90's beginning. -
well if you wanna lose your life and health yeah why not collect. For me it's just about some good music. =)
-
dude are you kidding? why would anyone like to have a version where there's less tracks? I even think "razorback" is the best from the whole cd (absurd they didn't include it on other releases...)

I guess you still haven't heard "night flight through babylon" so that you must check out then. -
oh, such good memories! <3 It was fun to make the other guy pay so much.
-
dude I won't say anything... it's your call. My opinion is that his album in 2005 was the best in whole genre (and you can still dl it for FREE there )

If you guys didn't know already, the user "taika-kim" is the man behind aavepyörä. Nice hippie with nice attitude and even important, fantastic music

it's true something new and unheard is always juicy. Just think the moment you first heard goa I move slowly, I wanna keep that "oh whouw, this is new!"-feeling in music for a looong time.
