  1. Move the thread. Just cos youre a regular doesn't meen you should get more attention then everyone else.
  2. I felt the first sample (432) as washed out, without as much dynamics or detail as the 440hz one. Not only that, but the 2nd sample gives me goose bumps while the first sample just doesn't touch me at all. I actually like the music to be felt, more powerfull for the ears. Well, for classical music anyways. But you're right, it all comes down to personal taste.
  3. Yeah. So this "432 hz" thing is obviously a poor attempt at trying to get attention. I knew it was fishy to begin with.. 440 hz sounds just so much clearer.
  4. I don't know the language either.. however every 2nd sample sounds alot more open and dynamic then the first. I think it could be faked.. but I have no way of testing it out on this pc.
  5. Here, I found this pdf file (maybe its been posted I haven't read the posts in here yet), and I've no idea what it means, probably because its 3 am and I'm very sleepy: http://www.terugnaar432hz.org/mediapool/65...sicaltuning.pdf Edit: Mmhm ok forget about that. Seems the guy who wrote this thinks theres a conspiracy behind the music standard.. okay that's a bit too freaky for a 3 am read lol.
  6. Taken from a thread on another forum, I found a link to this: http://www.432hz.org/ Basically, they say that tuning down music from 440 hz to 432 hz makes the sound more fuller, more dynamic etc. There's a nice .wav sample you can download here: http://www.432hz.nl/Ogg/compilatie/compila..._Track%2001.wav (Right click > save as) I've no idea what the guy in the audio is talking (since its not english), but I can only assume he is first playing the 440 hz sample, and then the 432 sample. And then he does it several times. I can really feel the effect of every 2nd sample over the 1st one (I guess the 2nd sample is the 432 Hz one). The dynamics and the fullness, the effect of the track gives a really better impression. The first sample sounds a bit "dull" compared to the second. However, I'm suspicious that he did more then just downtune it to 432hz. It can't be such a simple trick, can it? I'd try downtuning myself however I've no installed apps like wavelab or soundforge at the moment, so I can't test this theory out. If anyone else can give it a shot, maybe upload it somewhere so I can take a listen. Edit: Here's more samples, but I haven't checked them out yet: http://www.terugnaar432hz.org/pageID_5832471.html
  7. Great stuff there Kasper. In the Stream is awesome. Keep it up, don't give up! We need diversity in music from artists like you.
  8. I've never heard of a goa trance musical school. Self taught musicians can be the most creative ones imo. Find your own way of making music rather then follow someone elses is a good way to be unique in your own way. imhfo
  9. yeah you are really offline nowadays... :P

  10. Full on meets my hammer of denial. BANG!
  11. Holy Fuck! Now I'm definately sure they've got money. That site didn't come cheap. However optimization = fail. 4 minutes to load on 2mbit? That ain't right. Most people will just hit on the "html" version instead. Sweet animations tho.
  12. Zebra & Z3ta. Altho those are not my 2 favourite synths, however they're the most flexible ones for me.
  13. No shes there, but when everyone else ain't.

  15. Ulrich Schnauss - Nobody's Home.. ...perfect place? In Angelina Jolie's bed.
  16. there's tech talk, there's spiritual talk, for everything else theres esknet. Seems allrite to me.
  17. 01. Ambience (April 14 2006).mp3 .. from the never released album.
  18. So I gave a thought about this, I'm sure I'm not the only one who can "imagine" sound. For example I can think of a sound with my mind, such as a synth oscillator and think of it's characteristis like frequency, waveform etc. I can lay out a pattern in my head, and put it on repeat. I can then mimic effects that I know of such as reverb, pitch effects and flanger, there's lots of others aswell like gates etc. One I have the most trouble with is delay. I can't really set my mind to immitate a delay on a loop that I'm thinking of in my head. I guess it's a bit too complicated (for my brain) to calculate time delays hehe. Still tho, I can do some weird stuff like fast tempo slowdowns or speedups, glitchy effects etc. And this is all while I'm imagening the loop in my head. It gets even more fun when I take a part of a song I allready know of. Then I can imagine what it would be like if I put some effects on it, or if I change it's frequency etc. It's really fun to do. Edit: Now that I think of it, I pretty much do this all the time. For example when I listen to a minimal track that doesn't have alot of changes, I think inside my head how it would be like to put in a sound in there. This is all while the track is playing. I can even simulate an effect over the entire track (such as a flanger) and thus enjoy the track even more. Anyone else like to experiment with their "inner sequencer"?
  19. Does anyone know of any melancholic/sad online radios/streams? I've tried googling but surprisingly couldn't find any. Isn't there something out there? Any genre btw.
  20. On his myspace page, under the comments. That comment was from early '08 tho. Myspace Link Quote:
  21. Another problem I think is when you don't listen to music chronologically. For example someone might be used to the music from the past few years, and the releases from the 90s might sound vague and plain, without any differences. I think it's only a first impression of the listener, if he would dive into and try to play some of that music for a longer period of time he would eventually start to appreciate it.
  22. Enjoying the tunes, some wicked stuff you got there. Looking forward to your possible new productions.
