  1. Yes, Ice-O-Lator. I was looking it up and updating my above post while you were posting too. I wonder if there are any more Chi-A.D. singles coming out in soon, like 2005. I agree that he sticks to his sound, his melodies, and I respect that too, but this track doesn't seem as hypnotic and as atmospheric and trancing and enlightening and/or as overall deep and with as much feeling, as some of his best songs on Earth Crossing and prior to that. Does that make any sense? Have you heard the entire song? Of course this is just a sample. I hope we can some day again see singles that are great by Chi-A.D., kind of like Eye Am the Eye, Celestrial, and Exit Eternity, (My all time Chi A.D. favorite "single:) but new, top, epic, melodic, goatrance ones I would really like that, ya know? Gotta run, bed time over here! heh, Good night to you!
  2. A new song by Chi-A.D. called SS4 Version 1.3? I didn't know until you mentioned it! I found the two minute sample of SS4 Version 1.3 at... http://www.boomrecords.com/label_releases.html I didn't know he has gotten bad feedback for Earth Crossing. I mean, theres always someone who doesn't like something, but all the reviews and feedback I've read, at least the majority on these forums seems so positive. Earth Crossing is one of the greatest goatrance albums in years and I still think it should be released. What makes anyone think that a random no-name artist will sell more copies than Chi a.d.? It just doesn't seem to make any sense why they still haven't released Earth Crossing but I may as well drop it, as I realize we've all been through those talks.
  3. This really was one of those full-on releases that not only totally stood out from the majority of unimaginative, repetitive, full-on crap in 2004! I actually really enjoyed this album and I usually can't stand full-on because its BEEN sounding all too similar and just NOT creative or imaginative. Lemurians - Secret Message is certainty one of the better (probably top 3) full-on releases of 2004, with enough catchy melodies, beats, and sounds to keep it interesting and fun through-out, ESPECIALLY for the dance floor, working out, or driving, where you aren't expecting really hypnotic and deep songs. This has some really solid, catchy songs without singing! The creative and rare but occasional eerie melodies and more existing lift-off sequences really made this album entertaining. This is on my top 20 best albums of 2004 and that might not seem like it says alot, but for me to give any album a B-, that USUALLY says a lot. This album would fall into the same category, but not style, as 1200 Mics new album, which is worth checking out too if you want a fun, party friendly, melodic full-on album that actually has some better thought and creativity invested for what it is. This is NOT a dark album, but it is night psytrance for sure. It just has some unique, cool melodies, really cool lift-of parts, and even some catchy, altered voices (not singing) to boot! There are no bad tracks on this 3456 0album, and I hope the next release by these artists is not good but great, with more layers and imagination. This IS their best album and more people should check it out. B Samples: http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/sst/sst1cd018.html
  4. Yeah, I hate that song too. Do they not get it? Its just bad, real bad. What do they think this is? Disney World? Whats next, country music in psytrance? Its getting worn-out and cheesy, but to them this is just the beginning. I don't understand if the clubbers who cheer as you say are mostly people not aware of the much better stuff out there, or is lyrics and crap finally becoming accepted in psytrance overall, because DJ's and artists keep encouraging it? It seems very few people on these forums likes the thought of singing or pop in psytrance, and we make up a general view of listeners from all over the world, so why does it seem different in the actual clubs? I just don't understand unless this Britney crap is or will be intended for the US, because the average person in the US who is even into clubbing and techno and trance, really has never heard of psytrance... some have obviously, its not as rare as some may think ... but most people to my surprise have not. Overall, I realize that here in the USA, people are used to lyrics, as psytrance in general isn't played in clubs because it is just not mainstream because it lacks lyrics, for one thing I believe, as the music played in clubs is always rap, pop club remixes, or house, techno, trance, but the mainstream singing stuff... Does anyone know the specific name of the "Britney Toxic Remix???" Was this song put on a cd or is this something just played at the clubs; not being on any album, like this DJ's or Artists album or a comp? I just want to hear this out of curiousity and hopefully it will re-inforce exactly why I encourage against this type of crap in psytrance, but I have no idea what to search for other than Britney Spears as the artist, and Toxic remix as the song title. Like tons of Toxic songs and Toxic Remixes come up; none of the ones with any psytrance in them. If anyone knows the name of the remix, if it happens to have a name other than saying something general such as, "another Toxic Remix, now to psytrance," I'd be curious if anyone knows how to best search for this.
  5. Melodies are important. Catchy melodies are more important. I like the second linked sample more. The first one is decent I think. It seems more hard and pumped up than the second sample, and the melodies and darker tone or whatever works well I think, but I think it sounds a bit lacking something catchy, and a bit repetitive, and not just because of the guitar riffs, its just pretty repetitive overall, with the only real thing that lifts it higher, being the melodies since the cool guitar riffs don't seem to be going anywhere. Being heavy is fine of course, and I REALIZE these are just samples from obviously much longer songs. This reminds me of some Tim Shuldt stuff. Thankfully, there are NO singing in the samples and I hope there won't be any of that singing in the overall songs either. Singing (unless its done like track 8 in Talpa) rarely works in psytrance, period. No need to distract from the kickass sounds, melodies, and vibes. but 3 years and 2 months, for this??? If thats true, I really hope every track is great for that amount of time! I think it sounds interesting. Of course there is a line that really separates people who are and are not into this metal-psytrance. It seems hard to tell what the entire songs will be like based on the samples, and I'm glad there are melodies... as the second link seems to have more change, the song goes more places and is more interesting I feel. I think those who like Sun Project and Four Carry Nuts will like this stuff alot, but from the samples, Four Carry Nuts really blows away this stuff... hopefully this album has some really monster tracks like tracks 1 and 7 on Four Carry Nuts were very impressie epic-melodic, metal-psytrance!!! Anyway, I'm interested in hearing more when it comes out, hopefully not too long now.. And I guess that DigitalNew Age is how you spell the name of this group.
  6. Yes, I too want to know what the release date is for this. It's currently unavailable in all places I'm famialier with online.
  7. Actually, thats like saying no more Infected Mushroom.
  8. Yes, it took me years to realize this track! For years I always found it the most drawn-out, boring song and for some reason I just didn't get it. I think thats whats so impressive and interesting about this guys work, the tracks are indeed more mature in general, as the ones that don't jump out with very distinct characteristics at first are usually the most dreamy ones in the end, with exception to several tracks regardless, track 1 on Anno Domini is so delicious, so dreamy and hypnotic... just think how easy it is to be in the wrong state; mood, and miss out and be so unaware of something so beautiful and devine? This is one of those songs for the more experienced goa listener, I agree. It is incredible; its atmosphere can be felt and experienced, literally throught-out the body. As I've listened to the more fun, mainstream sounding, or rather less mature or should I say, less subtle Chi-A.D. songs like Astral Warrior, I noticed that Astral Warrior first came off as a track I really liked in the beginning, but in the end, its quick to pick up and keep your attention before dragging out... it isn't subtle like Anno Domini, and the subtle tracks that I never thougth would be so powerful are the ones that are the most beautiful to me, from Chi-A.D., with exception to those several awesome singles he's done for right now too! Exit Eternity is classic! Those melodies are, woW!
  9. I think it would be much more realistic to see a poll of people, who bought or did not buy this, but only once it was released. As of right now, the Tsunami album is not available, which leaves much speculation and I'm sure somr people, even some voting now, aren't 100% sure. Wondering things such as how well done will it be?, or not (for that matter). I think some time needs to go by before asking this. Its just too early right now. I don't even know what I'm doing until it actually comes out. Some may think, "well it doesn't matter if its good or not, and you should know Weather you're getting it or not, The money is going to a good cause," and I say... "Good. Well then they'll not over-price something so nice since the money isn't going to them, and hopefully there will be many good songs on it, as it would be ashame to see artists rush tracks or re-release stuff just for the sake of coping out and not doing any work, and yes, we can help in other ways too... and also if you choose not to help either, well, many people are not helping and many people are. That is your perogative." Anyway, I am curious about seeing a poll like this, just think it would be much more effective after the album was released, as perspectives can change in less than one-thousandth of a second.
  10. Well just having the old review section up and running again would be so excellent! Just having the albums in alphebetical order and in the original review section, by year, artst, album, and label, picture of the album with the track-listing and track times, it was just so great! This site has done in its time of doing it, the greatest, most organized and friendly goatrance review section I've ever seen. I can't even imagine how many reviews I've written years back!, and how many times I've looked back on reviews, what people thought, and all the albums I bought or declined to buy... all because of the informative, helpful, and sometimes very entertaining-to-read reviews! Not every album has to have reviews, as there must be well over a thousand by now, including the chill, comps, and main albums... If someone has the energy and passion to make this happen, I realize there are so many albums not on there, as it stopped in 2003, but I really enjoyed the old reviews section, have used it like many of you has references for so many albums, and I've always wished that one day it will be up, updated, and running again. It obviously takes work to keep stuff like that going, and I don't know exactly why it ended. I've assumed certain people just moved on from the obligation, but it was and still is, the best goatrance review section ever! It so should be made available again. I'm sure many of us will help get the reviews going. Is this possible? I really hope so, and I don't know Mars status or how many people help him fix and update this site. I just know at one time this site was booming, and the one thing still alive at least is the forums, maybe one day they'll be more again.
  11. I was just thinking of something positive to say lately, and this is what I came up with. The person who spent time remixing this song should have their eye balls popped out with a wine bottle opener, and their fingers should be sawed off with a dull, rusty knife, and then they should have their body parts fed to a vulture with rabees! have a great day!
  12. Talpa - THE ART OF BEING NON 2004 SUNDANCE RECORDS Update: 2008 Track list 1. First Ray Of Light 2. My Kingdom 3. Trust No Goblin 4. No Place To Hide 5. Dragon Tale 6. People Are Animals 7. Flybeereligion 8. The Moon 9. Rebirth 10. Back To Dreaming Wow. This is one hell of an album. Dynamic, sharp, crisp, creative, complex, dark, moody, and danceable! 01. FIRST RAY OF LIGHT is one of the best and evolving downtempo songs I have ever heard. Interesting. Creative. Different and catchy. This is a strong and memorable opening. I find it interesting that the artist chose to put this as the first track. Chilled tracks are often put towards the last. Placing this song here helps build the albums anticipation for the more climactic, energetic songs to come. Anyway, it would have probably been just as effective as the closing song, but it makes the track flow more unique and I actually prefer ithere. The last third is excellent. I appreciate the final act because the artist took his time to develop the song in a way that kept me involved until he unleashes his saving the best for last assault. This song starts out good and gets better, more catchy and groovy as it progresses. Now this is how you innovate and make a strong downtempo track. Nice work! The part around 5:13 forward is awesome. Talk about an evoluton into greatness. A 02. MY KINGDOM is a massive. This is arguably the best dance track on the album, along with, well we're not at that yet. This track (nice beginning by the way) is aggresive, angry, dark! Wow. Great use of chopping up that melody when mixing it too. Its melodic, fast, rough, and when you're in the right mood, especially if you're angry, working out, driving fast, and/or need a boost of energy, (amongst other things) this track is great! I believe a word associated to this song over time may be bad ass. Some people will say this is too much, too chaotic. The song maintains fireball, not-give-a-fuck attitude. Interesting drives take place in between its climactic melody lead. The song rhythm changes too, more energetic, driving, relentless. Talpa's darker work is strong and intense. Great track! A- 03. TRUST NO GOBLIN has a very interesting, playful opening several minutes. The beat around 2:10 is good, and around 2:50 is great, driving. Crazy, creative, vicious and fun, this thing takes off at around 4:00 with a powerful, sledge hammer drive. It goes through so many little twists and turns before getting to this monster truck drive. I love the foundation, both interesting, original, and flavorful. The ending is darkly fun with a skit of sorts. Unexpected and nuts. I love it. This further develops the artist's dynamic and darkly humorous personality in a savvy, fun way. Once the thing takes off around 4:00, the song is a firestorm rocket, a mad cannonball appealingly determined to clear everything in its path. Awesome track! A- 04. NO PLACE TO HIDE - Good opening. Again, Talpa has it down with intriguing openings. I really like the mixiing of voices and odd, little sounds in this one. The part from 3:580 - 4:37 for instance is awesome! Those random clinks and clanks, voice bits creates a melody in itself. Yes! This was the first track to really impress me. This is like an intro to Talpa's focus on detail and ability at mixing in many little sounds. This creates a whole something else as just one more melody or sentence of sounds in a paragraph of music. I've done thousands of hours of experimental mixing before so I instantly notice details and finely crafted work, details. It deepens the experience too, proving that there's more behind the mirror than ever imagined. The transition is good too followed by a stronger buildup, more energy. This is a good and/or great track with excellent mixing. B+ 05. DRAGON TALE has some interesting parts, but sounds too much like Infected Mushroom. I feel this song loses much of its luster because of the so-known style it takes or oh, is inspired from, regardless if its a new song. Once that quick piana starts I just can't get IM out of my head and so I tend to lose interest on each listening. Sometimes I even skip to the next song to hear the more original stuff regardless of any originality that may exist here. Also, the song doesn't exactly have the most engaging or catchy melody. The main melody is fast and honestly, it wears off as the track progresses. I listen as it as it goes through it's predictable motions. Again and again. I expect better from such a talented artist. I hope Talpa's next album has no songs where I think, "Yea...that sounds like Infected Mushroom." This song is OKAY and my least favorite here. C+ 06. PEOPLE ARE ANIMALS - Very strange, interesting opening. This becomes so catchy as it progresses, and when the beautiful, dark melodies begin, this song touches musical greatness! However, I still feel that there is something holding this song back from achieving overall greatness, although those eerie melodies are so great! This song just takes a bit too long to pick up from the time the story ends... and I respect the unique, trippy-souding story, dialogue-filled opening. Maybe it could have been slightly shorter to enhance the music part, although some people may find the first part even better than the second. An imaginative, beautiful song nonetheless. In the future maybe little to no dialogue in the beginning... just pull us in, build it up, and elevate it into something awesome. Another great track with excellent melody/sound work! A- 07. FLYBEERELIGION has an interesting opening. Talpa does a great job creating strong introductions. Apparently most artists don't think about this and therefore their openings are forgettable and lame. Ha. How wrong so many artists will be. With this song I like the fun voice bits tossed around the beats, literally creating like melodies with cut up voice samples. This isn't the only track to do this either. It picks up, gets more psychedelic, the music stops for a couple seconds... then a very catchy melody comes in that rocks, although the style seems close to Infected Mushroom, the melody is original, melodic, and quite catchy. This is where the song really picks up, before dropping and lifting up once again with even more changes, alterations, sound effects, etc... and with new melodies, tunes, and rhythm! I like change so much, and Talpa has put the work in to keep the tracks spontanous and unpredictable! The melody around 5:18 is wonderful. B+ 08. THE MOON is arguably the best song on the album! The female voices are excellent and the melodies and beats really compliment them! A- 09. REBIRTH is a pretty song with an atmospheric, Eastern Indian jungle opening. The track seems to play it safe, taking less risks, and maybe that's what Talpa was aiming for, a more calm, simple song after the relentlessly exciting ones throughout the middle tracks 2 through 8. In doing so it's less intricate, stylish, and unique. I'm not captivated as much as the others with exception to Dragon Tale. So what does this have going for it? Well, it's fairly dark, twisted and psychedelic, filled with little Psy sounds around a driving rhythm. Around 4:30 take place some skipping OOOHHH GOOOD voices. But it isn't until around 5:25 that a bubbly intermission takes place. Gone is the music. Suddenly, a fresh wave of gripping melody work appeaers like a whale coming up towards the surface of the ocean. Around ten seconds later this melody work becomes the fore front of the song. It's great! This was unpredictable and turned an driver without clear direction into healthy world when all hope appeared to be in question. Talk about an almost decent song that totally revives itself and everything we've heard before it in its final minutes. Rebirth actually sounds like an appropriate here. B 10. BACK TO DREAMING - A nice closing, which is too harsh and fast to be down-tempo / chill, and its still a decent song. However, its grown a bit irritating and repetitive the more I listen to it, with the bells shaking sounds over and over again... its still well done but it just feels a bit weak as the final closing on this album. I would have expected more as the final song from this artist, after hearing the so-much-more memorable other songs, which for the most part, are really up there, I'd think he'd want to end his album on a more powerful or impressive, if even down-tempo note, but oh well. It's a solid close, just nothing spectacular or super memorable. B In conclusion, The Art Of Being Non is not far from being haunting/intense masterpiece. It's an awesome album with many impressive moments, parts, and at least several super songs around a handful of good/great ones. This is a very interesting and free spirited release. The mixing and general sound arrangements are excellent. I really enjoy the parts that "jump out" and GRAB or SURPRISE you. I hope the next album doesn't have a track that is even slightly familiar to Infected Mushroom, though I only really "sense" that with one here (track 5). This is a very imaginative, creative, and unexpected release from a very talented artist with great attention to detail and a devilishly fun imagination. I really hope Talpa's next album capatilizes on his best and most imaginative, catchy (intricate, dark, wild, layered, melodic, random, intriging, atmospheric, super songs) work here, adding lots of new ideas. Replay value and lasting appeal is high here. Every song is different and varied with ideas and sounds from those around it. In short, Talpa - The Art of Being Non is one of the top best Psytrance albums of 2004 and of the 21st century. Another provocative/trippy release like this one would be amazing. Favorite songs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8. A- Or 9/10
  13. Ahhh... NOoooooo!!!! hahahahaa! They finally did it to you; to US ALL! That SUCKS man! I realize some people are more lax about it than others, but that still sucks. I wonder if other people like yourself were thinking the same ... "Wtf? You have GOT to be shitting me!" thing! Like what were the reactions when that song started playing??? You could not have been the only one going or thinking... "NOOoooooooo! Whhhaaaaat?!?!" And WOW, any DJ to even play a psytrance remix of Britney Spears has some BIG BALLS. Regardless, thats like, almost as bad as walking into a Jewish Cinagog with a bright, red Swastica painted on your white shirt going, "la, la, la, la, la... !" I'm trying to look on the bright side. Is this artist anyone special? Probably not. Does he suck? Probably! What exactly was the crowds reaction when they heard this at the psy-party? Anyway, I've intimated in these forums over the years, the importance of straight, mainstream POP, or ANY mainstream music for that matter, NOT being fused (into a sub-genra) with Goa or psytrance!, (I even wrote something similar as a JOKE in the "whats your favorite Infected Mushroom albums??? thread) like a month ago!, but the full-on stuff is like the minimal stuff -- in the sense that they both came like a giant wave, with the intention of being easy to make, and quick to make money!, and now the full-on wave doesn't seem like its going to stop anytime soon. On top of that, there's now a Britney Spears psytrance remix of Toxic?!?! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Jesus Christ, does she even know that some artist did this remix? Fuck, has Britney Spears ever even heard of psytrance? She probably doesn't even know what trance is all about! Thats the problem with artists making remixes like this. They don't care or respect the culture, the foundation, the history of goatrance. They just want to come along and take what they can from it to make money without really earning it. Hearing this news, I don't know whether to laugh or cry, or punch myself in the face, or try to do all three at the same time, hehe... Well, the bad news is that if more artists start to do this, it could get trendy and not only ruin full-on, full-on is already ruined, and now its disgraced... the bad news is that it could be the ... I don't want to say it... the beginning of the end of psytrance.. and/or the potential to lead to the downfall of psytrance by making pop-trance, kind of like what minimal and now full-on is doing to psytrance... its taking over because its simple and basic; it makes money at clubs! The good news is that the majority of full-on is crap anyway, and most people won't give two shits about some unknown artist making the 100th remix of TOXIC, which probably reminds people of pop, not all the more groovy, trippy, magical stuff.... so this will probably wash over soon enough and be forgotten. Nevertheless, I still think its interesting, scary, and a bit humorus in a strange way, -- that someone finally did actually do a Britney Spears remix to psytrance! ... It was just a matter of time until some asshole out there thought, "Yes, its alive... It's A-L-I-V-E!!!" (Actually its not, heh) "Maybe someone out there will like it and I'll make money." Yes! I totally agree with you! Thats what made goatrance so amazing! That artists didn't focus or even think about making money the way most artists in general, who make crap, think. You have to detatch yourself and go deep into your imagination, and focus on your mind, body; your work, your feelings, and thats when the creativity and ideas start to form. Either that, or your music will never sound close to what it could be. In short, you have to have a strong passion; a love for creating music because of the music itself, and not the distractions, the money and fame. When others come along simply to rip-off a genra of insane talent, just for the sake of trying to get attention (maybe with the sound of psytrance to sound as if its new to the general mainstream, think about that for a second) thus make money for the sake of making money, and leaving a big FUCK YOU to the real creaters and all the fans who KNOW ... thats when I say: "NO. Of course fine to experiment, but the intent of the experimentation determines the outlook and impression of the artist; it shouldn't be abused to lower the genra, but raise it for the right reasons. I don't like what this artist has done, because its a cheap and desparate way to attempt to make cash by ripping-off a great genra and mixing it with not only an overly mainstream, played out genra (Pop) but by using a specific artist who cares more about her image and what other tell her to write, than the love and creativity of the music itself! This is an example of bringing the wrong type of attention to psytrance... And unfortunately, whenever you have something with the potential for making money, there will always be someone to corrupt it, or at least try." And whether this artist fully realizes it or not, he's messing with an entire genra, and this is instigating (and putting thoughts in other heads) the possibility that other artists could do it as well, and I really hope this remix song falls hard on its face and we don't see other psytrance remixes to pop, or rap songs either for that matter. Its fine to experiment, yes, but not when you start taking stuff and smashing it together, just for the sake of making money. At least the great goa/psy artists we all know aren't disgracing themselves and their fans, by sticking to the music we all love and care about. This is proof of an artist desperate for money and not worth the time to listen to. These are the artists who are usually hated, or tolorated in the moment, and than forgotten by the next morning. And than a bigger, slightly more talented and powerful, money hungry label comes along and tries to re-invent club music and pop, by claiming to have made pop-trance or psy-pop... and thats when I take out a gun and kill myself.
  14. Wow!, what a surprise! This is great! I wasn't expecting this, kind of thought, oh well thats the end of another really talented artist who puts out one album thats really good than disappears a long time or ever... His first album was really, REALLY GOOD!!! Some G-R-E-A-T songs, and YES... track 1 was so great!!! This emotional and melodic trance stuff is so uncommon! The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing is such a well done album. Why would any of you say cheesy? That album has lots of feeling and it didn't go into cheesy area in my feelings... Hopefully this will be available soon on the bigger trance shops!
  15. Any news on a third, main album from Xenomorph??? I wonder how long before another main release. The time between his first album and the second was 3-4 years I think!
  16. Very cool album. I can't decide whether it's good or great.
  17. meh... I agree with Nightmare Trancer. This may be snapping, twisting, acid sounding, squeeky, dark psytrance, but crazy or insane? Plleease! There are few melodies, and none that I could even think of being catchy or even memorable. No track here comes half as close to several super-dark songs on The Delta. I'd say the only track I like and find interesting enough is the intro.. the INTRO?!!!. ... Yes, the intro, and The Dark Door (track 2); because of its lift-up sounds and change of style as the song progresses makes it more interesting and arresting. Overall, this reminds me of so many other dark albums out there, where there is a simple, hard baseline and beat, and lots of static, twisting sounds, (like Absolum but not as good) and fx mix around the beats... But where as artists like Dark Soho and Xenomorph have layers of actual catchy melodies, while also sounding crazy and dark... (specially Xenomorph) this relies most on its sounds than its actual smooth formation of rhythm and melodies... and the style is just boring in general to me. Unlike Scatterbrain, which has crazy, insane tracks, that has much more focus, flow, and imagination. The tracks here don't jump out and surprise me. I agree that the intro is interesting, nothing spectacular but a nice set-up... and the voice samples here and there are a nice touch too, but overall I expect much more. Its dark toned music with lots of sound effects and swishy sounds ... and I don't find it all that catchy or crazy ... thats just my feelings anyway and I enjoy dark stuff when I find it well done. I don't find this well done when compared to the more known "dark" albums out there. Certain people can talk it up all they want, but feedback is feedback. I don't see many people liking this album, which is ashame because with more time, imagination, and attention to melodies and catchy riffs or whatever, this could have been much better and I might have purchased it.
  18. Hey Winstin, one of the big, main "trance shops" I could so see your album on, is www.psyshop.com ... maybe you're be familiar with it. Your album is easily better than so many albums that already exist, and are selling on that one site alone! Psyshop is a great "trance" shop for all types of psytrance/chill/goa/melodic trance/trance, tech-trance, you name it! Don't know your status but if you have a label or distributer or manager or whatever, your new album should so be on that trance shop, and there are several others but in my opinion, psyshop is arguably the best. I'm not too familar with the other ones, side from the label sites like Phonokol and BNE, which just sells their own site under that label.
  19. I too once asked and posted about the most dark stuff (thats not just dark tone) but evil, crazy, horror music too... because so many albums are "dark" and "dark" has become so easy to generalize. i.e: night music, scary or just sounding not uplifting or happy, etc... but I think I posted some great artists for the type of stuff you like or are interested in... Velvit Acid Christ - Fun With Knives... - Oh Hell YES!!! This is Evil, dark, Crazy, DARK, with crazy samples ... trance with psytrance and goa inspirations and influences...!!! It says so in his cover that he was inspired by X-Dream, Juno, AP, and several other great artists! Xenomorph is also aruably the best ... for dark, horror, EVIL psytrance... and Sandman - Witchcraft is like a fucking cult-classic masterpiece! Great evil-dark, catchy melodies! There is No Tomorrow Comp... [best dark, evil tone, in that style] comp I've ever heard! Scatterbrain has parts that are pretty dark, but not really that evil, just wild, crazy great! Dark Soho - Don't even bother with their new album, its crap and not dark at all ... but their first two albums are great dark-horror psytrance, some of the best ... but not twisted evil-dark stuff like Xenomorph. Some thread in the review forums recently went up about an album that some posters said was really dark and insane... its called Xatrik I think... but I did sample it at saiko soudns, it sounds cool and its really dark but not more dark or evil than some of the other stuff out there already mentioned on this thread... still, check it out I suppose if you want. I personally find Psychotic Mocro, Ka-Sol and Dark Nebula boring when it comes to most tracks... Dark Nebula's main albums just seem so weak and uninteresting, when compared to their better singles on several comps.. Yeah, where is this stuff available to listen to and order? Its not on psyshop...
  20. Holy crap! Those were all announced?! If so thats great!, or are you just looking forward to the possibility? Hmmm, Chakra & Edi Mis, I wish I could find where to order the classic original! Heard it was great. ... I'm looking forward to Transwave in patient anticipation! And to the Tsunami Benefit CD's, Asura 3, Unusual Suspects 2. Lastly, I'm really curious to see what the Pleiadians album turns out to be, awesome or crap, or just decent or fairly good, which for Pleiadians, "decent" or "fairly good" would also be crap! And any "possibility" that these classic Artists/groups... Astral Projection Hallucinogen Chi-A.D. Miranda MFG will release another great, main album! Also, what the hell happened to RA?! Wasn't he going to release something years back and then he disappeared? I wonder if anyone tried to contact his label and find out whats going on with his status?
  21. I totally agree with dreamworld. Hey Winston, I heard all of your currently available 11 tracks from beginning to end, from out of a thread in the reviews section that Lemmiwinks posted on your Binary Dream. You've got lots of really cool idea's and songs. I've posted more on the other thread before I was aware that you started this thread. Anyway, you must get your music out there, on trance shops, psyshop, etc... I used to do all my mixing at home and my voice stuff was in mono, not goa or psytrance but other music, for experimentation, and just getting the concepts and ideas, tracks, songs, down is most important... and you've done that. After putting sounds, beats, melodies together, I'd go to the studio where we'd have the sound engineer bring out certain sounds, altering, enhancing, adding more bass, etc... until are great concepts and ideas, but amateurish production had improved, although far from complete. Hopefully you have the plan and approach toward raising the production value on your work and making it sound (production-wise) totally professional. Your actual work is professional, and lots of people seem to like it. You derserve to make money off your talent. I look forward to buying your album when its available. I just had several questions... Do you have an agent, manager, and/or label interested in distributing your stuff? If so, do you have any plans when you would like to see your first album released?, totally complete and ready for the public; available to buy? Regarding the songs on your unreleased album, (the 11 tracks) with tighter production, this album can obviously sell some copies. If you do release an album, will it be a different one than the album thats available to stream and download on your site? Thanks for making your music available! take care!
  22. Well this is interesting stuff Lemmiwinks. Its pretty good and I wonder why they're just giving it out for free, unless its just to get his name out there, they'd do better putting it on trance shops, where the public knows where they can hear it. I'm surprised its not selling and I'm curious about some things. I never heard of Binary Dream until you posted this thread in this forum! Do you have any idea why hasn't this artist up'd the production in a studio (if its homemade, assuming he has no professional studio in his home) and why isn't this selling on trance shops? I think someone has to distribute this artist to the right audiance. There is a fanbase for music like this and as long as there are people on this planet, I don't think it will ever die... its just too freekin cool! Yes the production could be much better. Its cool how you came accoss something so unknown, especially for something home made, but c'mon Lemmiwinks, I agree with you that this is cool old-school, melodic trance / psytrance and there are some really nice downtempo songs, but you and I both know that, although this is good for what it is ... this isn't up there with Filteria. Lets just be real. ... but he is creating some classic sounding stuff that I think most of us all thought was long dead, because well, it was! Yes, this artist is talented for sure! I mean, this is more cool and interesting than most of the releases pouring out now days. The sounds should be tightened up and brought out more, as they do in a production, and this should be selling. Thanks for bringing attention to it so we can hear it! I too, like you, really, REALLY like old-school sounding goa music, like Binary Sky, Dimension 5, AP, MFG, and RA, being only several examples of old-school sound thats "up there," you know?
