  1. I don't think it has much to do with intelligence and rather with your personal & emotional background... I mean, there are lots of dumbasses in the scene, and that counts for every kind of music. Let's say emotional intelligence & experiences overrule IQ in this matter. Your feelings towards the world will play a big role in your choice of music. For example, if I'd say that that the "glue" between all Psytrance lovers is their attraction to the unknown and fantastic, I'm pretty sure that most of you would agree. That would mean that Psytrance lovers are usually to be found in the emotional category of people that are fascinated by the unknown. What do you think, does this make sense?
  2. Thanks for your replies! Mike, don't worry, I'll have loads of stuff with me, including some flyers/posters/stickers ... Hm, I'd better post a tracklist and some extra credits in my opening post too...will edit that soon!
  3. YES!
  4. Ah, happy to see at least some people around here that shared my impression! The thing that bothers me with Goasia, is that the guys have a kind of repetitiveness during most of their songs. Play a song on the second minute, then fastforward it to the seventh minute and you're likely to hear the exact same melody again. Ah, well, not to offend anyone, maybe the variation is hidden into subtilities? Saying that Omegahertz is bad music, on the other hand, is something that I really can't understand. It's pure brightness, his songs are like children playing in the gardens of eden! Very innocent and emotionally-edged music, it is... Well imo it's just a matter of taste, really...
  5. Biggest respect to the most talented nitzhonot artist nowadays! :)

  6. Thanks to you all for your heartwarming support! To answer Shaman Of Sound... I'm Elias from Belgium, and I've been a Goa & Nitzho addict for years now. However, it bothered me a bit that Nitzho didn't get attention at all -anymore-. Of course, much of the music produced in that genre could be described as crappy, which explained the death of Nitzho in the first place. Anyway, my plan was to get the genre back on the Goa-map. I DJ'ed Nitzho for a while, but the more I was busy exploring it, the more I got aware of the fact that the ideal Nitzhonot handn't been invented yet! That's how I started producing myself (in 2007). With loads of melodic Goa Trance and Israeli Nitzho ingredients, I tried to create my own crossover genre. It's made out of big big melodies, plus a bunch of psychedelia and creativity in order to keep things interesting and more or less 'mature'. The answer to the question if I achieved in getting the genre back on track is in your hands! ... I'm full of excitement to hear your reactions when the album will be released! PS: I'll add another e-flyer with better readable text in the main post!
  7. Dear psynewsers! My album is out, so I thought it was time for a promotional topic. Horizon In Your Head is a crossover between Goa & Nitzhonot, starting with a rather emotional morning-edged tune and ending with glorious & fast-paced Nitzho. I think it's worth checking out if you like Mystica, Luminus and powerful Goa music. Tracklist: 1. Silver Shadow Lifeforms (7:08) 2. Aya 11 (6:54) 3. Last Man In Paradise (6:43) 4. Hoa Nozem (feat. Goalien) (7:17) 5. Horizon In Your Head (6:06) 6. Our Sky Is The Mind (8:38) 7. Het Was Zomer (5:10) 8. Hi Phuk - High On Wire (Agnet's Phoorgoa Remix) (8:02) 9. De Sterrenreiziger (5:44) FOR SALE @ PSYSHOP @ GOASTORE @ NEPTUNWAVE @ SAIKOSOUNDS For those who might wonder what my sound is like, feel free to download some of my older free tunes at Eutuchia Records! In case that would cost you too much searching troubles, I uploaded them all in a pack for you. People that would like to hear the actual album previews should visit Psyshop. Not satisfied with those ones? In that case you should check my live act on Youtube, containing long fragments of Hoa Nozem, Last Man In Paradise, Het Was Zomer, De Sterrenreiziger & Our Sky Is The Mind. All of them will be featured in this album! All reactions and comments are welcome!
  8. Very light and playful track! Good fx'es, nice swirling melodies and a rhythmic section that makes my head nod automatically ... Keep it up, this track is talent-proof!
  9. Yes! Secret Of Mana, Alfalfa, Trapachkina,... :posford:
  10. True, I think you could take the prices from discogs and divide them by 4. Then you got a reasonable price for a CD with a backcover missing (it's hard but that's the only way you might sell these ones, my friend... )
  11. Lol I never ever saw this topic! Anyway, maybe a bit late to respond now, but like Nemo said, all those tunes will be featured on my album, and the album is getting released really soon! In two or three weeks it'll be for sale @ Psyshop, Saikosounds and more...I'll keep you guys updated!
  12. Awesome. Some tracks are like listening to Cosmogenesis - Howling At The Moon, but even more crazy! I never took the time to hunt for your tracks on the net, so this is my first encounter with your music, and you overwhelmed me!
  13. In the past I was pretty addicted to those 'gated' choirs and leads as well... (that's indeed the right word for it) Still if I consider the 'coolness' of it, it becomes less cool if you realize how easy it is to make yourself if you get your hands on the right vst's.
  14. Ok folks, a new neo-nitzhonot release has arrived. Like always, you can expect a combination of full on-ish, epic and traditional eastern sounds on this Eutuchia compilation. Everybody is welcomed to download it for free @ Eutuchia! Imo it's not their strongest release, but still Eutuchia managed to gather some of the latest quality tracks in the genre, for example: *Psydition (the track has a groovy atmopshere, and although it doesn't put emphasize on climaxes, the flow is really nice and there are some nice eastern intermezzo's included) *Sanga (nice full on-ish nitzhonot with sweet arabic pads in the intro) *Tritonas (again a more than decent track that will easily please the epic-lovers) *Somnium (an interesting tune with a pretty unconventional atmosphere, also heavily influenced by psychedelic trance if you ask me) Also, there's a track of me (Agneton) included! If anybody happens to like my Goa-Nitzho style, you'll probably appreciate my contribution .
  15. I liked everything including the border!
  16. Gold CD, because it makes me think of the colour of crops No digipack, since you gotta be so damn careful with such records in order to not harm the artwork...
  17. It's gorgeous. It remembers me a lot of the style I'm producing myself in fact. I feel like this guy knows what a good kickass goa track is about : D Keep it up!
  18. I had a good laugh
  19. It's a draft, those are not a part of the database, but still you can look them up when typing the right terms in the search field... More or less the same thing happened with the ancient Crop Circle album, which was still viewable on discogs although it had been "erased" properly...
  20. Seems like you are talking about this one, Mars? http://www.discogs.com/release/1444861 I get the impression the soundmute team is a bit too enthusiastic there
  21. While surfing on Discogs, I sometimes stumble upon weird and entirely incorrect entries. Some of them seem to be made by totally fake and amateurish artists, just wanting to promote themselves, while others just make funny reviews having nothing to do with the music. These are things that happen more often since the new version has gone online, but the good thing is that it's at least fun to discover 'n read all that crap... If you find any of these pages, post them here, I'll start with one that looks pretty suspicious... dj special k! http://www.discogs.com/artist/dj+special+k
  22. Nope, real CD. I can confirm this
  23. I really luvved PPK - Ressurection About Miro, I prefer Spaceman way over Purple Moon, the latter one sounding like a Newstyle Hardcore tune in the kick section 'n stuff. Spaceman is way more trancy ...
  24. The fest was OK, music didn't interest me a lot, and there was indeed this electro 'groove' tent, which played "mainstream" music mostly. The lake nearby the festival's tent and the main boom environment was indeed muddy -or too dusty!-, but our tent had been placed a kilometer outside the festival's borders, and there it looked pretty romantic ... My memories about Boom are mostly positive, I had some great moments there, but that wasn't because of the music. There were lots of side-activities and lotsa good food 'n juices, shops,... so my day was always filled with excitement Btw 6 hours walking is still better than 17 hours by car blagh...
  25. Kickass track indeed. Very original style that doesn't remind me of anything in particular, and a good dose of sweet sounds and rhythms...
