    Asura - LifeĀ²

i think butterfly fx is the strongest track here by far. after several listens i also like the album overall but some voice samples feel quite tiresome because they are overused in too many tracks in the past.
  2. yes some of these artists should ask themselves what it is exactly that they are doing in the studio. it can be no creative process if you ask me. and trance2moveu, i appreciate the work you put in your reviews, maybe if you crosspost them at isratrance you can get more feedback.
  3. man if you are such a productive guy, why don't you make a sequel to "perce oreille". that's my favourite till now. so well composed, much emotion, atmosphere )
  4. your negativity is really depressing. by only reading forums a sane man can easily reach the point where life seems meaningless and all negative. not only in the psytrance scene, though. seems to be a problem with forums in general.
  5. awesome release. intense, atmospheric and varied. i prefer this one over the new para halu any day which is not that bad, but dull in comparison to this FREE release. *thumbs up*
  6. ouch, glossy photo paper could hurt. but i like it. nice face. a bit low-contrast though...
  7. good music. another fine release after pyramidal trancecendence but i have to agree that the mastering is far from perfect. some tracks are too thin in bass, some have recessed top. but the music and the spirit count the most so no need to be harsh e115
  8. i like the objects. now try to find a good composition to make it a good picture )
  9. if the foreground-sound is louder than the background that has to filtered out, set the gate to trigger just above the volume of the background-sound. the parts of the background that get through now could be drowned out by the sounds you really want to hear. it worked for me once, but i guess there are many cases where the result sounds too scatterd and dirty...

  11. expander or gate help sometimes. at least you can try it out
  12. today i listened to the track zaz by cell, and the sample of the singer was quite familiar. i just don't remember where i first heard it... another psy-album where the sample was used as well, or the original off some world-music-cd.... i'd be glad if someone could enlighten me, where it is from

    Talpa

exactly. i know its good, but i rarely listen to talpa because of that.
  14. i have heard good music in all these genres, the bad thing about the psy-scene today is that one has to dig really deep to find good stuff beneath the crap.
  15. good compilation but not really the smasher some people make it sound like. lots of sharp sounds very few elements that give depth to the sound... the great tracks to me are 7 and 9.
  16. yeah, i try to judge every musician by their best works. if you look for downsides you will always find some, but i try to be positive. so, yeah, shpongle rocks
  17. its not a bad album, but still i am a little disappointed because i find there is no track in it that is as brilliant as perce oreille form the magical journey comp. track 10 is my favourite.
  18. thanks all! moni, yeah well it's painted in photoshop with my wacom tablet. "pic"-ture doesn't have to mean it's a photo, right?
  19. get it here: Frisbee - Alexis made with cubase, fl studio, several vsti synths... enjoy!
