  1. Contorsion and Anasazi glued together, they just deserve each other
  2. i am a huge fan of Cell, though i did not like anything released after Phonic Peace . since it's Ultimae, im guessing it's more downtempo oriented rather then "phonic peace" like
  3. i "think" it doesnt work though, i dont have the charger/adapter anyway. btw ReBirth, is there anyway to use it's 303 as a vst? it's by far the best 303 emulation made. OnTopic: nice experiment filipe .
  4. i have an MC-303 resting under my couch ...though i used to click and twist a lot in a TB-303, it's hard, but the ReBirth time during the puberty helped hehe.
  5. how bout The Sounds Of Cosmic Lifeforms, will it go through the same procedure on phototropic? i am addicted to Fight Fire With Fire and Gagarinz Trip, i would sleep better knowing i had them with a good sound .
  6. by far, this is the only convincing release after Corolle, of course, regarding my taste. very good music guys, very different from i've heard around compilations , i love it.
  7. yeap, totally forgot to revive this topic. one of the things that i would love to mention is the person behind Antares who's young and yet very very very careful and patient on music, it's rare to find someone young as him and not into some overspeeded music surrounded by screaming vocals (honestly, horror!) also the Goasia track is amazing, i havent heard such melodies for a long time and it truly sounds a bit different compliments Digitoxin, even though it says artificial, it sounds natural to me
  8. i must say that Trold have some outstanding skills and really creative ideas, they just sound different compared with the rest of the world. i just hope they didnt do minor changes though congrats. for the release GFR, didnt hear anything for a while.
  9. oh yea, the better part made me say that mate, i dont really care what music they do, if they dont know the difference between the old style they did then at least they should know the difference of identifying stuff like GOA or PSY, for some it's just one big family, for me they're two different worlds. reading goa and listening to a totally different music can make some goa fans like me say stuff like that. Im just a bit angry bro...
  10. there's nothing wrong with guitars, a whole genre depends on it. though i agree they can sound out of the limit especially in a genre where clear synths have the main job to do. but still, have a listen to Zirrex - Tadarinda, the guitar makes the track even better. concerning Cosmosis, as Trance2MoveU said, it's a matter of taste and style, and none of them fits on my like list. i would never really bother writing negative responses to this topic but spreading music with a GOA stamp on it and a totally different sound just pisses me off, this genre is undertaking a revival and artists who already switched to commercial music are considering getting back, but on a commercial way, if thats not a reason to be pissed off then...*** it. GOA is not a work place where one can easily create tracks, it was always an area where creativity had more power then epxerience or production knowledge. whats the sense of doing music when u have no imagination at all, especially when the genre requirements are high on fantasy.
  11. I dont know why people still hope on revivals of the big names in the 90s. i mean look at astral projection, as soon as coke got their main ingredient on music they started doing tracks like dj condom, whats next, a remix of the barbie girl song? i apologize to take AP as an example, but as soon as u dont have enough inspiration to do music, u do shit, just shit and cheese time to time. I was never really a fan of cosmosis but i still can tell the difference, and in my opinion, there's no GOATRANCE philosophy in this release.
  12. it's amazing how the minimal trend killed this genre. since you like anthony rother, try some old stuff from Alter Ego, Zeta Reticula did also some nice breakbeat electro (his known as Umek in hard stuff, now does minimal shit too), Luke Slater as mentioned before especially the horn track remix, T Raumschmiere. a very personal preferation, if u find it ...Primal Scream - Autobahn 66 (Alter Ego Remix)
  13. Tim Schuldt might be the best payed mastering guy, but sometimes quantity can decrease quality, and tim schuldt is seen on every second release as the mastering guy, marking him the best makes it too doubtful. A TIP, check out Artifakt, especially its own release Artifakts II, this guy gives one the feeling that he does master on a quantum level. sorry for the off topic chat, but i would join the thoughts of a proper mastering for mindsphere, he might be very good on composing and relating notes to each other correctly but the quality of inncer cyclone was really poor, and it's not just the fault of the mastering, there's also the pre-production procedures every artist must do, and it's normal NOT TO KNOW THEM, but still, such music deserves crystal clear sound. thumbs up for Ali, great great artist.
  14. the samples leave too many questions open...but i've noticed some really nice music at Goasia which did not really sound like the standard them, but the magic is Antares, i'm amazed to find such a young producer with so much patience on music. Definitely a release which will be stamped as the goa of the first decade of the new millenium
  15. from what im informed and from chity-chats with him, it's on doubt if it will be ever released, im not sure though. he spreaded some copies of Lost in Time on a party at Belgium, i dont know if it's the 3 CD one where he included the Ritual Dance. anyway, a properley mastered Lost In Time would be better then this one, actually better than any other release , i cant survive the day without that album.
  16. who'd thought that 2009 would be full of melodies, right melodies .
  17. how 'bout Khetzal or Avigmati, i know he's into full on lately but Corolle is one of the most deepest and spiritual trance music i've ever heard, any chance that they cooking something on the kitchen?
  18. considering that it is an old mp3 codec and just 128, encoded very bad without any quality-gain options, i wouldnt be surprised to criticize the kick and stuff but i totally agree with you, the track is rhythmic and with some few cosmetic changes in quality with the nowadays technology would make this track well known
  19. oh please do that, it's worth it http://www.sendspace.com/file/abv1zo
