When I get the $6000 I'm owed I'm planning on buying a tiny tiny laptop that I can take out into the forest & even just to the park I'll be able to write outside (also planning on writing a book) so I'll probably write more. I know I wrote probably overly detailed reviews that very few read right through but to be honest I couldn't give a shit if no one reads them. Reviewing an album really helps me understand it more. I also write a paragraph before a detailed track by track description & a paragraph summing it up. If people don't want to read about the tracks they can just read those two. That's what I usually do if I don't have the time or patience to read everything.

Some Ethnic stuff is cool but a lot of psychill nowadays is identikit ethno shite! Check Dakini for well done real ethnic sounds. Ultimae do well without any ethnic sounds, also check Distant System - Spiral Empire which is also spacey not ethnic. Bluetech Androcell Ian Ion Native State Records, Kilowatts, Rena Jones, Krill.Minima Healer Secede etc Check more pure ambient stuff as well. There is a lot of really trippy music out there that is more psychedelic that artists that stick the psychill tag to their own music.

'tis good aye?

What do you think of this one? Do you think Ben sounds like Lou Reed?

Hi! You've probably got your options set to outline. Push on the options button just under add reply/new topic buttons at the top of the thread & switch it back to standard. Hope that helps!

How come?

yeah, I love watching jellyfish

It sounds a bit like Asura's first album. Very spacious, a lot of ambience and a heavy kick. It's good enough to warrant one. I'll need some more quality alone time with it first though. Also Orchid - Birth / Re-Birth is really really good

Love the new picture

Kilowatts - Ground State

Yes it is! Tracklist 1 Inca Steppa (7:45) 2 Tokyo Dub (7:08) 3 Las Vegas Future Past (5:59) 4 Mind Of The Free (6:13) 5 Immaculate Cruxifiction (7:38) 6 City Of The Sinful (4:43) 7 Tanta Pena (5:51) 8 Perfect Crime (Superman) (6:24) 9 Pretty Girl (5:28)

Ian Ion - Gringolocomotion

My dad's birthday party was Bob Dylan - Desolation Row fancy dress! Pissed off I had to miss it

What I mean is EarthShine has Solar Fields' ambient soundscapes behind the trancey beats. It really adds a journey feel to the music that I think a lot of prog lacks! I'm also very happy that Solar Fields just keeps pushing the boat & keeping the quality level so high

Juno Reactor - Pretty Girl strangely addictive

Nah! He looks like their fluffer

Labyrinth Gods & Monsters Bible Of Dreams Beyond the Infinite Transmission Shango I really like the newer stuff. JR has evolved nicely. Never sticking to old worn out sounds but just making whatever the hell they want Even if you don't like the style, the music is always top quality IMO

But it's not! The alternative is a full length album of good tunes! If one artist has no patience or not enough inspiration, there are a lot of good artists out there who do

But would you pay the price of a full album for those 15 minutes?

Who are those new guys? Anyone? Cronies? Guitarists?
