I recommend for you Adham Shaikh - Journey to the Sun which has some lovely warm sounds & very story like and available Other people have already recommended you Ishq - Orchid, which I definitely second! Beautiful sounds but unfortunately out of stock in most online stores & at Dakini's website. Still it's worth the GBP30 it's being sold for on discogs. Although there are some cold sounds I find Solar Fields - Extended to be such a beautiful, warm/cold journey that it shouldn't be passed up. Still available here but probably not for long. I wanted to recommend Matt Coldrick & Matt Hillier - Elemental Journey - Absolute Ambient 2 available at psyshop. The other release on that label Music For A Busy Head is warm and fuzzy & available too. Elve - Infinite Garden & Ishvara - Magik Square Of The Sun were available at the website virtual world last time I checked but it seems to be down. Check back another time & maybe you'll be able to get them. The comp Oxycanta maybe beatless enough for you, the beats are all very subtle & is still available at Ultimae

What music are you listening to right now?abasio replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance Visuals like you got at really early goa parties! Simple yet very trippy! I like them, it's cool. I had the original Dragonfly release but got this re-release for the DVD. Love that Mix and I'm not usually a fan of Goa mixes as I like to hear the full tracks. The samples really do not do it justice! The record label in your signature! The one you have T-Shirts of アリゼン = ARIZEN

Damn! But Hey, I don't have a CD writer Planning on getting a new laptop soon either one with a CD/DVD writer or one without but I'd get an external one. Always better safe than sorry! But laziness pays off now

Cool! Cheers for the advice, I seem to have completely missed the debate about these & only ever heard, CDr :pissed: etc

How about if it was a legally purchased mp3? Was it Radi? Was it?

Any sample can sound good if used well. Original samples would be nice. I have no problem with the samples being indian or anything but the same tired samples just plastered into tracks is a bit annoying. Music to avoid IMO

Yeah, it's all very painless. Nice easy communication with Anthony over there & they accept paypal. I struggle to tell the difference (in sound quality) between these CDrs & pressed CDs. So I'm happy

VA - Max.Chillroom (New Land Music, 2008)abasio replied to amphiton's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements Tracklist looks bloody good So is this going for a mainstream audience like the blurb said? Are they trying to break into a bigger market? Good luck to them as long as the music doesn't suffer

I also thought the deadline was the end of march. But at least my list is a reflection of how I felt at the time. I'm sure it will change & I will discover even better music from last year but we can't leave the voting over forever can we?

I think so as I love the music. 2 were free! 1 free because my last order was big enough but I was too slow in replying to which one I wanted. The other was free due to the large size of this order Altogether it came to about $125 inc P&P

Glad you like 'em I just ordered a shitload more (DataObscura though) I really liked these 2! Very nice collections. If you are a fan of Gus' work I'm sure you'll be happy with those two. @Tatsu nice bulk buy

Still love the Music! Discovering more ambient recently but goa still has a special place & always will.

Compilations are great when you are trying to discover a new label to see which artists have the sound you like best but overall I think albums are much better. Usually they have a better flow, more of a journey than a collection of tracks. Of course there are exceptions to this some albums sound like comps & some comps feel like albums.
