  1. If lost buddha can't come through, or if you have one more spot on the compilation, and if I have one more week of time, I can finish this track.. here is an extract Synogen - Balkan http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NGOZXANF I'm very proud of how its sounding so far, rather unique in style. Cosmogenisis here has heard it and was very impressed. This is a new synogen debut, the style is different from mindcrawlers and is 100% goa.
  2. Albino, z3ta+, Tau 2 are my favorites
  3. Hey Chatnik... I don't know if you want to extend the deadline or not? I'm pressured for time, school is very demanding right now and I don't have much opportunity to produce until a week or two from now. I've got a track for you from Tempestuous G, oldschool goa style. I'll master it and tweak it for him and send it to you soon (through serquei again, thanks man)... or if you extend the deadline you could also recieve a Synogen track and a Synogen vs Tempestuous G track no later than 2-3 weeks from now. As long as we have time to produce those. Its up to you, let me know how it works out. If thats the case, let me know so I can send all the tracks in bulk to serquei so he only has to mail one CD.... also lemme know if you can somehow get a high speed connection and download the wavs directly, that will save time and serquei won't have to mail anything else Thank you very much for that favor serquei!
  4. You should get a Tempestuous G vs Synogen track hopefully...but I'm kind of running out of time... Do you need more tracks for the compilation? I could submit more mindcrawlers stuff, lemme know and I can show you some tracks to see if you want to pick out any.
  5. Not much is needed other than alot of dedication and motivation. You can look forward to making some very poor music the first couple of dozen times you try, but if you stick with it you will get better and better with each song until you are comfortable enough with the sounds to be able to produce what you "hear" in your head. All you need is a sequencer. I recommend FL Studio if you want to start making music as fast as possible - the interface is generally easy and comfortable to work with and it has some good guides and tutorials to quickly teach you the program. There are more advanced sequencers like Reason and Cubase but for starters, if you've had no experience with music before, try FL studio, it will save you alot of frustration. Learn one of these programs and the rest will be much easier, you can work up to higher programs from there. I myself have tried Reason and Cubase but I still am most comfortable with FL Studio and have sticked to it. Some people here are opinionated about FL due to it being sub-par in its older versions and they believe FL studio music is lower quality than music from other sequencers, but thats just rediculous. Its up to the artist to make good music, it doesn't matter what tools you use.
  6. It would be easier to start a new song rather than recreate one.
  7. Goa'll find its way to the right people, my attitude is the same as your Filipe Woah.... hehehe
  8. Yeah I really like bloodsucker, I keep listening to it What do you use to produce, chatnik? I think I can hear Albino in there
  9. Mindcrawlers - Illusions Small new track...Illusions...only 4 minutes. This is made by psyrius and only mastered by me, I didn't get a chance to work on it because we lost the project files (virus...grrr....) However, its still a solid 4 minutes of some unique psytrance with a dynamic bassline (say no to full-on) Stream or download at AcidPlanet or Beatbiz
  10. Blood sucker was very nice, I like that one
  11. Yes, this is trully a masterpeice, I was surprised to hear you create some darker trance vibes, your other music had a happier feeling, but this is still awesome, maybe even better! If you'd like some exposure, maybe you could submit something to this compilation http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=32209&st=0 that is being made simply to expose amateur artists and make people aware this style is still innovating.
  12. Wow, thank you guys, I'm flattered by your comments The reason why none of the above mentioned people are signed is mainly because most of us are quite new to this and have only gotten this far due to our insistance on expiramenting with production. There are a few other cases like Nuxx and Infinite Dimensions who have been producing for much longer and have had some success on their own - but there is still no label that is fitting for this kind of goa. The psy scene today seems to only accept full-on, with the exception of Suntrip and a few others who only accept oldschool. Unless you are absolutely the best and have been around for a long time, there is no room for expiramenting, but I can tell you right now all new goa sounds I've heard have been from amateurs who never got released, some of which are unfortunately disappearing. Its wonderful there are a handful of people on this forum supporting the amateurs, but even then most of us get a meager 200 listeners and are lucky to have even that much exposure. Jeremy is in Austria for a week...he didn't tell me why though, lol.
  13. I've been working on brushing up sound quality and mastering to CD standards... can someone give me a second opinion on this short clip? http://s6.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0LFVBEMVV97O210X7GF6IVAS0S
  14. I haven't forgotten this, I'll update it when this thread gets more attention and/or when I feel like it
  15. I'm done with a new updated mix of Firebloom, remixed and remastered for release...I'm thinking of zipping and uploading it to somewhere and emailing you a link? wav format...it should be around 50mb
  16. You'll definately get something from myself and mindcrawlers, still working on them...
  17. I think its about Avi's daughter, but thats just guess-work.
  18. If people have submitted tracks to this compilation, could you post them here so we can get an idea for the direction of this comp?
  19. Hey, I got your pm when you sent it, I just needed to find more time to listen and I see you made this thread so I'll give you my comments here... I prefer the 2nd one because you weakened the bass too much in the first one. There is still some "mud" that I was telling you about in the 2nd one...whats happening is the frequencies in your bass are overlapping the frequencies that your background sounds are using. This is really notable around 4:30. What you can do is lower 200hz on the bass or the sounds, since you're aiming for a deeper bass sound I think try it on the sounds first. You can choose to lower 200hz or the other option is to raise the midband frequencies abit, like around 500-1000, expirament somewhere around that. Also overall your sounds could use a boost around 3,000-5,000 hz, that may sharpen the sound abit, although I'm unsure since they sound like they are samples and don't sound very clear themselves. Your percussions are fine though, they fit well.
  20. I understood, that is what I was talking about too Great that this compilation is aiming for oldschool goa! I'm working on 2 tracks right now that I think have alot of potential, as well as a few more tracks that might fit for this compilation. I'll send you an email after some time and see what you think will be best for this compilation. Thanks chatnik!
  21. Hi radi Upload your music to www.beatbiz.net so it can have a permanent home and more exposure. I like the oldschool style you're producing with, but me personally I could see more inovation done with oldschool goa...by that I mean simply don't do what has already been done (even though we both like oldschool, I think the genre desirves something new). Also I think your production could be clearer. But for a start I'm impressed.
  22. Alright I'll see what I can do about mailing...otherwise - Anyone up for that? If you'll be burning and sending your own music it'd be a mucho mucho favor if you could include a few of my tracks or tracks from other people on here, just for effeciency's sake it'd be great. Let us know.
  23. Is it possible to send a link to an email where you can download a .zip of the high quality wav? It'll be quicker and easier than mailing it for some of us.
  24. No its fine, we don't get mad I just left some comments for him
  25. lol Jeremy you coulda just talked to me if there were probs with the mixing I did =P What I did was balance the sounds so they are all level and corrected some frequencies that were cluttering - you can still go into your track and raise volume levels to get what you were looking for. I prefer the second version due to clearer and more balanced volume levels. If you are looking for volume just turn up your speakers, the first is louder yes, but at the expensive of alot of compressors and EQ chains you had Jeremy if you're looking for the harshness in the first version, turn down the bass and raise the lead volume, I adjusted those when I helped you out since Astral Projection has a softer sound and you were aiming for that with your track. Up to you though, adjust as you see fit. If you want the volume back, try doing a normalize pass on the version I mixed for you since the volume on that one stays fairly constant at around 75% of its volume.
