Moulin Rouge is actually one of the worst movies i saw the fact that it made you think of acid is weird a great psychedelic movie that i recommend to you Jack, is Blue Velvet but if you wanna still keep into a more musical perspective see AMADEUS now, that is psychedelic

Personally, IM is like the last thing i wanna see live they have come to my city 4 times last year, and its already booked to play 2 times this year i had already seen then many times and they peform those lame "shows" i wont even boder looking at this single There is going to be a party in about three weeks where they are going to play here in an huge commercial one ( as they always do) i am going to be far away at a small festival at another state Anyway i think that their music is the most overated thing ever on the psytrance scene

Excelent review Basilisk how come this excelent albums got so few replies heh? i find this album the most amazing progressive release of 2004 i do disagree in one thing, i found Cobalt Cocoon the highlight of this album but Deep diving come in a close second anyway both are perfect tracks for me and this album is certainly a 9/10

as lemmy hates those neo dark stuff and absolute hate progressive and loves melodic morning uplifting stuff i cant really give a very new release advice but i can give two mindblowing tracks that i think you may like it, perfect for this moment and its relative new so do you wanna know? is PROMETHEUS- OK COMPUTER PROMETHEUS - NUMBER CRUNCHER the guy is a genius and its absolute good to start

ok, but thats not old either and their debult album, Reflexion, was released in 2004, so they are kind of new, but i see what you mean its kind of a sign of their greatness and i repeat my statement Rainman take the advice and get the Lunaspice album and enjoy, there is one track that is pure bliss- Cobalt Cocoon

if there is one new project out of thi new progressive wave that really stands out with hight intelligent music is: LUNASPICE

kind of late but i have told you that once

just like you said production is creation the techinical issues like mastering, eq and others is just...... technical issues off corse we can define production as just the music quality sounds, like being clear for ex Althou this is not much necessary discussion, as 90% of the albums has good production on those manners good music creation is hard to find

cheezy is poor and predictble melodies, and i am not talking about production skills, i am talking about musical skills it doesnt have to do with being morning or happy, it has to do with musical structure some melodies has a expected formula that our brains are used to hear and can easily recgonize its flow, wich pretty means that is predcitble and simple wich means that is cheezy music there for is cheezy production

i go for beat bizarre althou is not new wave but their last albums are good out of this list i would say that andromeda antix and freq is quite good i love prog, but this new wave isnt exctaly my taste

i mostily prefer minimal but i like the equilibrium even more, way more and so as contrasts, like lumpi said it maximal is good, but not all the time i cant take "hardcore" maximal for too long althou i can take "hardcore" minimal for a while but thats just me
