  1. Hell yeah they are. TIP CD is already discussed and includes some of their all time classics one must hear if you haven't already. The only reason I didn't get it is that I have them on the first, original releases so there was no point of getting them again repackaged on this comp. Other two Boom CD's are fantastic if you like that Scando Forest sound...way up there on the level of now legendary Schlab label...and Schlab in my book is the very best that forest Scando sound ever got.. Professor Mephisto is one of my favorite Ka-Sol tunes ever.....absolute, no-nonsense, brain melting psychedelia... He builds it perfectly and at around the 5 minute mark it gets completely mental...psychedelic riffs and melodies fly all over the place like a swarm of bees trying to overwhelm Play it loud in your stereo and enjoy the mind sex
  2. Another CD available: Eat Static - De-Classified http://www.discogs.com/Eat-Static-De-Class...release/1019807
  3. WOW ...the race is deadlocked at both collectives getting 14 votes each...
  4. Orichalcum and The Deviant album on TIP records....Alien Homes is very different, yet a monster track on that album. Quirk - Machina Chemica & Fornax... album on Matsuri Both different from the norm but regarded as classics in my book. Sandman's early work might be regarded as experimental by some. I also second Psy Harmonics.
  5. Not sure what the reasons for leaving the scene are, but I wish you luck with whatever you pursue. I like Technosomy's idea, but I think it would be more realistic and practical to ask Jikkenteki to leave his paypal ID, so people that download the album and like it, donate some money, however small or large the amount. I think it'd be nice for people to show a token of appreciation for the music....hell... send the guy a few bucks to have a beer in exchange for you listening to his album... seems pretty fair and reasonable.. ....so...Jikkenteki would you be so kind to post your paypal ID?
  6. Don't worry about him man. He likes to stir shit on this forum just to get people's attention....anything for a little controversy to get people going... So far he's walked the fine line, but one of these days he'll hopefully either learn how to be little more considerate or cross the line and get himself banned.
  7. Damn, it started as a clear cut win for TIP as they were up 3:0, but now Slinky Wizards are leading 7:6... Slinky tracks seem to have aged well and sound fresh today, but then again, TIP had a great ambient album on Blue Room too.
  8. What's so "cheap" about a re-release? In many cases the sound is remastered, at least attempting to make it sounds better and sometimes even extra track or two (Sandman, Elysium) or even entire bonus CD (Planet BEN) are added. OK it will "pull in" money, but so what? No one is being forced to buy it. Is selling something hoping to make money bad?
  9. The topic says it all. The Infinity Project was a flagship, household name of TIP records with significant contributions elsewhere, while Sliky Wizard had an incredible impact on the output of Flying Rhino records. Two titans that can be thought of as artist collectives with only a couple of core members while others were contributing on part-time basis. For example Raja and Graham Wood seemed to be The Infinity Project's main guys while Doof, MWNN and Simon were joining them here and there. Similarly here's what Slinky Wizard's profile says on Discogs "Adam Boyd and Dominic Lamb composed Slinky Wizard's first track 'The Rising' in 1992. After this George Barker and Ronnie Biggs joined the group, and with the assistance of Simon Posford they created Flying Rhino Records' first release, the Slinky Wizard EP. In the summer of 1994, Adam Boyd died in an accident. In late 1995/early 1996 Gus Till joined the group. Starting around this same time, Ronnie Biggs was no longer credited on Slinky Wizard tracks, but it is not clear if he officially left the group. Through the years, Slinky Wizard was variously joined by Simon Posford, James Monro, Dick Trevor, Matt Evans, and Jules Evans." ......but which one of these collectives do you prefer. Whose output are you more fond of?
  10. Their early tracks as the side project Antidote were da bomb too. Check out one of my favorite Antidote tracks Sunrise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pu5h3R7bbS8
  11. I got AKG 701's and they are absolutely great for home listening. Open concept cans that will not immediately overwhelm/fatigue your ear, nice padding and flexible design. Needles to say they sound really good and reveal the detail staying "true" to the sound unlike say some DJ headphones that will color it. Not sure about 702 model. It looks pretty much the same as 701 except for the color so I'm not sure what the difference is, if any. I hear good things about Grado as well but don't own a pair so I'm not qualified to comment on them. Here is a good resource for headphones: ttp://www.headphone.com/ http://www.headphone.com/guide/by-applicat...ate-headphones/
  12. 11,30 GBP for an album in WAW That's more than the physical CD cost. So much for the digital revolution many tend to proclaim is happening.
  13. E-mantra perhaps? Maybe someone can ask him if he made it?
  14. Also have this one available: Morning of Magic CD http://www.discogs.com/Various-Morning-Of-.../release/349268
  15. I've got a bunch of rare classics on vinyl and a couple of CD's available for sale. Prices don't include shipping. CD's: Atmos - Tour De Trance (Spiral Trax) 7 euro Planet Goa (NMC) 20 Euro http://www.discogs.com/Various-Planet-Goa/release/422644 VINYL: Doof - Let's Turn On LP promo (TIP) 10 Euro Black Rhino - Flying Rhino LP 25 Euro White Rhino LP Flying Rhino 20 Euro Psychopod - Dreampod/Psychopod 12" promo (TIP) 7 Euro X - Dream Brainforest/STOP 12" (Blue Room) 10 Euro The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing Original Mix/ Spiritual Healing Remix (Dragonfly) ---> NEVER OFFICIALLY RELEASED PROMO ONLY 12", Asking 45 Euro Here is what Discogs says about it "This record was never commercially released. No label mentioned, but the BFLT catalogue number points to Dragonfly or Butterfly; The former is correct since it's trance and the label mentions a "Darren", who was the label manager for Dragonfly. A very limited pressing of this release was commissioned by Neo Recordings. It was pressed from the same plates as this release and came as a stickered whitelabel in a generic Neo sleeve. The sticker quoted the artist as "Juan Verada"; clearly a mis-spelling of the artist's real name, "Juan Verdera"." Doof - Double Dragons 12" (Dragonfly) http://www.discogs.com/Doof-Double-Dragons/release/62582 Cyber Trance 3 (Javelin) CD http://www.discogs.com/Various-Cyber-Trance-3/release/232203 Please contact me via PM if interested.
  16. Will you sell the CD to me for 50 Euros then?
  17. Yeah, he is sensationalist and funny, but this movie is not just him talking unlike other stuff he did. I have no way of authenticating the footage he claims is the ritual the most powerful people in the world engage in and how it relates to ancient Babylon, The Devil or what have you..but it is thought provoking.
  18. Try this one: Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove Have a look at this documentary. Alex Jones snuck into Bohemian Grove, California, a supposedly highly guarded resort where the most powerful leaders in the world would get together and perform crazy "sacrifice like" rituals, dress in robes with hoods and burn giant owl statue. He caught one of the rituals on camera. This is some weird shit
  19. Hahaha sorry...I guess I should have said faster, uptempo psy trance ...
  20. Pretty much every time I listen to full on made in a last couple of years there are like 3 buildups and breakdowns in every song. Every time I feel like I've gotten into the flow of a tune they basically pause it ...and not in a suddle way either.. it's an abrupt stop and at that point the song's flow is gone. I'm especially annoyed when they try to build it up from the dead with those cheesy effects like killing the low frequencies for a few bars or switching from the left channel to the right. Anyways, my question is, is there some quality full on out there that keeps the flow going? Back in a day Ofer did a good job with his project Pigs in Space...good pumpin' tempo but no "wave you hands in the air" cheesy, ABRUPT, breakdowns and buildups.
  21. I wouldn't say it's better then the Bionizer version, but Ticon's remix of The Overlords - God's eye on Goa is pretty good.
