  1.  now, that was fuckin' funny.
  2. I agree on Koxbox, but I'm kind of torn apart between their sideproject Psychopod - Headlines EP which really is almost like a mini album and Koxbox-Dragon Tales. I suppose Forever After could be in that conversation, but I'm having trouble selecting only one release of Koxbox I think the fact that Koxbox/Psychopod came to mind first and not one but 3 of their releases in discussion is a testament of their contribution to pure psychedelic aspect of the scene. Maybe another name that deserves to be mentioned is not an artist but a label. Early Psy-Harmonics released some seriously twisted stuff too. I think Toi Doi - Technologic is a solid, upbeat album, but I don't think the craftmanship of detail and the effects are in the league of early Koxbox...not even close...again my taste
  3. Well I beg to differ. Material I've heard from Stoneage may just as well fit into Scando Forest sound. Anyways, we are just talking classifications that really don't have that much meaning. In my opinion, the fact remains that Schlab released both heavier/darker as well as lighter/melodic sound in similar realm as Stoneage and I think Schlab has soundly beaten Stoneage in that arena.....doesn't matter what name you want to call that sound.
  4. You might consider having it distributed on Ektoplazm.com too. Their web site is the leader in free downloads and will probably help you spread the sound of this one. Good luck !!f
  5. Not sure what you mean by "darkpsy" since people perceive it differently. I agree they are good, but Schlabbaduerst Rekkords was much more to my liking in that realm of crazy schando forest psy, so I'd reserve the "best record label" for them
  6. This thread has bwhale written all over it....I'd say more than one poster ID is actually the same guy.
  7. I managed to track down Dendron - Supernatural Jazz album. It has only been released as a CDR, but I didn't mind paying for it since Merv knows how to produce good tunes. Unfortunately, there are some pops on the last track that I don't think should be there I looked at the CDR surface and there were no scratches. The only thing that I could think of is that the CDR itself has decayed and is beginning to go bad or maybe all of the CDR's play like that. If you have this album can you please check and see if the last track plays OK and let me know? The name of the track is The Time Machine. If your CDR plays OK would you be so kind to send me a wav file of the track or let me know if I can buy a wav file or another album in any online shop that has it? Any kind of help would be highly appreciated. Note to mods, this is not an attemt for piracy. I'm not looking for a shitty mp3's. I can take pictures to demonstrate I have this album, and unfortunately it is not possible to buy another copy any more in any store I searched including Saikosounds, Psyshop and Beatport.
  8. Maybe try Space - Space That was a side project of Jim Couty of The KLF. Back in a day he and Alex Paterson teamed up to form this project, but according to some Alex was afraid this will overshadow The Orb which was the other project he was about to start so he left and Jim stripped all of his contribution and released it as a solo album. More info here: http://www.discogs.com/Space-Space/release/116942
  9. Some more names I didn't see already mentioned: Psychopod Church of The Hippy Disco Shit Texas Faggot Marchaos Psychaos Shpongle Spirallianz Sibilant Deviant Electronics Alien Hand Syndrome "An alien hand sufferer can feel normal sensation in the hand and leg, but believes that the hand, while still being a part of their body, behaves in a manner that is totally distinct from the sufferer's normal behavior. They lose the 'sense of agency' associated with the purposeful movement of the limb while retaining a sense of 'ownership' of the limb. They feel that they have no control over the movements of the 'alien' hand, but that, instead, the hand has the capability of acting autonomously — i.e., independent of their voluntary control. The hand effectively has 'a will of its own.' Alien hands can perform complex acts such as undoing buttons, removing clothing, and manipulating tools. Alien behavior can be distinguished from reflexive behavior in that the former is flexibly purposive while the latter is obligatory. Sometimes the sufferer will not be aware of what the alien hand is doing until it is brought to his or her attention, or until the hand does something that draws their attention to its behavior." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_hand_syndrome
  10. Koxbox is Danish slang and when translated to English roughly means, 'energy box'. Source: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Koxbox
  11. I hope you're not another incarnation of bwhale.
  12. He even signed up and replied to his own posts as if they are two people. It's so pathetic it's actually amusing. I couldn't stop laughing my ass off ....very good entertainment
  13. WOW Simon ended up calling him a "turd"
  14. Neuwerk - Give Me Sharas If you like hard, fast Psy you must hear this. It actually appears on a Hardcore Gabber comp called Terrordrome. Kicks the living shit out of most "darkpsy" yet it still retains those crazy Psy riffs. Give it a try here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2f0jlPBLWk
  15. Agreed This might be another incarnation of bwhale
  16. ...and there you have it Thanks for the explanation. People like you are rare and will often be misunderstood because others don't usually take time to understand where you're coming from and will prefer to focus on the issue/debate at hand. Of course, the same can be said for you and the tendency to stand up or defend before you do the thorough homework. Either way you slice it, you are bound to have conflicts and the path you chose is not an easy one. I wish you good luck and hope you don't end up alone in life.
  17. You're welcome Glad you like them. Not sure you know, but even Flying Rhino released that Microwave Prince track back in a day on their Retrodelica 2 compilation.
  18. I think you meant Cinos. One thing I noticed about you is that you tend to stick up for the "little" guy. It's even reflected in your music and the political ideas behind it like for example "Shameful SIlence" and connection to the people in Lebanon, "Keep It Cool" for the war in Bosnia back in a day, comments about immigrants in Denmark and "fascist" government etc. Obviously I don't know you in person, but you do seem to care for people that are in some sort of way underprivileged or at least perceived as such from your perspective. Kind of like Zoro or Robin Hood. This is just an observation, kind of an "Elysium" theme I noticed over time. It definitely isn't meant to make fun of you and if anything, you deserve praise for willing to stand up for these kinds of issues. I can't think of many artists, public names in this scene or any for that matter that would be willing to get down and dirty into a thread with bunch of unknown people, put your name on the line, to stand up for what you believe and help someone you have never even met. I was would be interesting to hear your comments on this. What motivates you to do such things?
  19. Try Genecom singles (Adam Beyer and Peter Benisch) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ed88msfdi2U&feature=related Banging "Goa" Techno is probably the best way to describe this track of theirs due to an interesting combination of banging beats and "trance like" layers and pads: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekL6GQbVU14&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KCKe0w0fuU Drax LTD II - Amphetamine remix (aka Thomas P Heckmann) Too bad it's not in better quality and the melody isn't as audible as the bass but you can hear it better towards the end to get an idea. Check out the original and other remixes made as well as other stuff from Thomas. Hardfloor - Acperience 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5wycI_C0N8 Hardfloor - The Last Marshmelow Machine (less known then some of their other hits but I liked it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtB8ZWG_jQU&feature=PlayList&p=5A7FCD7E8049D3F3&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=25 Robert Armani - Circus Bells (Hardfloor Remix) ----an absolute monster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2XfGq49E5Q&feature=PlayList&p=6E99EB2D6D3575F3&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=6 Microwave Prince - Cyclic Evolution:
  20. Yes, remember listening to Hallucinogen Live long time ago and he played the The Loin... and Point Break back to back in his set.
  21. No it would not be better. It would be better if he followed the "This is NOT a discussion section!" rule little better.
  22. Your response is a clear evidence of your incapability to understand that you're spamming and failure to see that your comment sparked a non-sale discussion in this very thread. That's thread-crapping. Have you considered that maybe you're not "helping" the guy? Maybe someone was willing to make a deal and in that thread and your comments made them think it's not worth it and wait for the seller to lower the price after the pressure you put on him. Have you considered that someone might think these Asia 2001 CD's might be fake bootlegs after you said there were suddenly so many of them and be turned away from buying them here or not offer as much for them? You wanna try help someone, try PM-ing the person maybe instead? Read the rules if something is not clear to you. They clearly state "This is NOT a discussion section!"
  23. You might wanna rethink that. Have a look at the forum rules you should read before you post here. It's pinned right above the topics. Here's what it says "This is NOT a discussion section! Any discussions within sale/trade threads should be related directly to the transaction and nothing more. If you're not interested in buying or trading the item(s) in the thread, then don't post. If you want to know why a person is selling something, send a PM (private message) or e-mail them. If you think a sale is crooked or smells funny, report it." There is a rule after all. Now you know it. Follow it or risk having your ass banned.
  24. Goa-Head, here's another example for you. I totally understand Kroo's frustration.
  25. OK, here's an example of your "consulting": "Tough one. Do you think there is someone who will give you "20 vinyls which do to you" for a bunch of CD's without backcover and scratched ? No matter how rare some CD's in your list are, without backcover they will be not worth half the price and if they have scratches even less. And what vinyls would you want for these ? Rare vinyls too ? Doubt you will ever get them."
