  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giAzopSy-g0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0O2aH4XLbto&feature=channel He's geeky, he's freaky, he's Ronald Jenkees.
  2. http://www.twistedmusic.com/news/news_shpongle_feat_benji_the_god_particle/ Track is up for download. It's a spicy meatball.
  3. The album is out at Beatport. 3rd listen through now. This will be among top 3 albums of 2010, no doubt. IT'S SUH-WEET He's the master of basslines, the prince of tweaking freaking sounds and the princess of our need for sweet sweet electronic love. Lest you ever stop making music, benji. This is like a cosmic cracking of a beer. The beer... OF OUR IMAGINATION.
  4. I haven't really heard too much ambient other than my 320kbps rips, but there's no doubt that the higher frequencies get blurred in any heavier compression.
  5. The first Asura tracks I heard were basically in my mid teens. The kickdrum feel was what tuned me into a lot of other music. But I'm glad you've chosen a different style for 360, as I'm now into music such as what these samples sound like. Sounds great.
  6. I wish you had come from slumberland to oslo earlier this year, Abasio. Yours truly can sign my name to the fact that Corridor of Mirrors, with 8000 watt power, can rock a psy-hungry crowd like a chandelier in an earthquake-zone. Fantastic psy-trance.
  7. I did some digging a few months back and tried to find dark ambient that fit a particular tone. What I found to be the best is Svartsinn - Traces of Nothingness and Red Fog - Dronerider, which can be downloaded for free here: http://dna-production.org/releases/dna90/ Otherwise I haven't really found anything that sounds too good..
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zCMU2a_sAs This is the worst cover in psy history.
  9. http://www.myspace.c...cordsprometheus Samples of all tracks. Sounding very very good. Colt and Taylor's Machine on the Colt (Mix 1) EP are already outstanding tracks. Me likey! Christ i'm excited for this.
  10. I really like "waves of sound". EDIT: Well fuck me. Erez made it with him. No wonder I've always digged this tune. Cooool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kASVvFm756E
  11. Is this psytrance? What is psytrance? Where am I? What time is it?
  12. Hello Usling I think YB is cool because of how these guys have learned their engeneering and songwriting skills from psy / goa trance, and then are able to (successfully) transfer it to other genres. Last days of gravity was just such a polished album. When push comes to shove, this is by far the best new direction they could take. I'm thinking about IM. They're keeping themselves indie and experimental. Good on them.
  13. I'm a full time student, and I usually listen to Ultimae stuff, or darker music such as Biosphere and those genres. Anything without vocals and I'm good.
  14. A few years back, he released an EP called Colt (Mix 1). It's more electronica-ish, like this track. Very very highly recommended, brilliant music. http://www.twisteddo...p6ikp78ssf8nbb4 "Taylor's machine" is undoubtably one of the grooviest tracks of his.
  15. posford + prometheus + raja ram are apparently back in studio finishing their new album atm.
  16. I think the old school Hallucinogen style was a reaction to what he percieved as boring psytrance at the time. That shooould mean a 3rd one could come out, but man, as much as I would want one, I'd rather see his brain work all the other genres as he has since then. For now, it's a night flight through babylon.
  17. Hm, that's strange. Here's the album where I got the title before searching on youtube. http://www.discogs.com/Various-SWIV-3D/release/427188
  18. HALLUCINOGEN - SPIKE Hallucinogen - Night Flight Thru Babylon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy2fZRGz4rM&
  19. Yep, it's really, really good. The remixes are far enough away from the original mixes for this to be a good buy. 3-4 of the remixes are outstanding, such as Overload and Distances. Get iiiit.
