  1. Yeah, Si told me, as I've mentioned before, that their 3rd album will be more "serious psychedelic" music. He was very pleased, so I second that zero.
  2. Because when/if he does this, he has lost me as a fan, and there really aren't that many to lose, if you look at the big picture.
  3. Man, at least they could throw some.. Bread crums to the masses; samples. Now! I mean, there is no connection between some samples and artwork?
  4. Hmm.. Don't worry too much. The average "trough the mouth-breading" GT-player won't know the difference between Hallucinogen and Scooter. I kinda liked the track, but it was just OK, absolutely nothing spectacular.
  5. After downloading it myself, I can't really see that you are mistaken.
  6. No doubt, the use of samples will occur in "Nothing Lasts". However, I refuse to see anything negative in reasonable usage.. The important thing is the final product, and with some freaky artwork, it could very well be a winner.
  7. Yep yep, welcome. I'm mostly a reader though, rarely something to add. But, I'll straighten up once I get the hang of all this.
  8. Go etheogenic. If you dig shpongle, you most probably dig both asura and entheogenic. Yeah, shulman is good, but I can't really connect to the music.
  9. Oh yes. Finally i can feel the demon once again I've waited a long time for this, and finally it is here. Party!
  10. I agree. The only thing that can eventually grow weaker is the picture you have of an artist and his skills. The music stays the same. It's both naive and stupid to not think samples are being used in this kind of music, where it is room for a lot of melodies and sounds. Enjoy the music, and for god's sake let's hope shpongle 3 won't do as our Israelic mushrooms and screw up.
  11. Hey, what is the name of that dude that made the shpongle sample? Got any more of them?
  12. Can't wait. Feb/March as Simon told me.
  13. Dorset is a place in England, where I heard they were tripping along when they made that track.
  14. Heard through the CD now, and I am a bit dissapointed. The first track, IM the supervisor is the worst one by far. It's even worse than I Wish. Taxi Number? Bombat belongs in Converting Vegetarians among the other "Ok" Songs. Frog Machine is also just OK, because I really dont see the song going anywhere.. But, its fast, and its cheerful to the extent of cheerfulness in these dissapointed hours. Horus The Chorus is kinda cheesy, but i don't hate it. Nice ending. Meduzz is too far off. Muse Breako RMX has a nice start and ending, but I cant dig the middle part, leaving it under an average. Way under. Noon dosen't really sound like anything.. Ratio Shmatio Isn't too bad. Nice sounds, and a lot of variations. Stretched Isn't too bad either. No new kadafi though All in all: Nice sounds, but the voice is just terrible. IM-The supervisor sounds really bad. Really bad. Hard setting a grade here, but its by far the worst mushie release. Now, that sucks, but thats the way it goes.
  15. Hey man, searched for it, and It's IM - Xerox Gravity Waves. Cheers
