  1. No, this is very much shpongly. If you've seen the full band live you definitively see how they interact with the music they're playing in a very shpongly way. I'm really, really happy with this album, and it stands as the second best album to Are You Shpongled. And - it's excellent to play with if you play the bass / guitar.
  2. What a weekend. The show was off the hook, met a lot of spaced out londoners with some psychedelics they were happy to share. The vibe.. People were hugging. blowing soap bubbles.. I met inexpressible and Infra 303 from discogs, and psytones! My phone died the morning I had to leave, but I'm sure we'll meet for a beer in Oslo sometime, great meeting up! And the CD - well. I'm amazed.
  3. jes det gjør vi nok :))

  4. You've got the argument before your nose, but you failed to see it. My point is that even if people like it, they'll rather see the record label die before helping it. The ideology of "sharing" far exceeds the idea of spending a little of one's hippie-cash on something other than "the bare essentials". Can you give me examples of the opposite? What is happening to Twisted just underscores what I'm saying.
  5. I can only do so much - buy the album, attend the shows, spend a little money on merch. Having had a job, made that money and spent it in order to receive great music, and help the label stay afloat. It's quite easy really. However, there seems to be a large majority who are so insistent on downloading that they'd rather see Twisted Music burn to the ground than to help them out - with the little they ask. This is typical for social economy nowadays... And I think people would rather break than bend on the subject. I can imagine a lot of people rubbing their hands with a big grin when they've finally erradicated the scene of big names due to financial reasons, and all we're left with is 128 kbps mp3's, badly, badly tagged, and equally intense bitching about the lack of quality in the music. The worst part of it all is that much of it is based on a horribly naive and selfish ideology that shouldn't see the light of day.
  6. Good one. Come on people. The women in Ultimae Records releases do nothing but moan! @ 9:05 Oh, it's a pleasant sound no doubt. Pleasant enough to make another comic strip. One day.

7/10. Interesting. Great animation by the way. Can anyone tell me a movie with better animation...? Great guns. Cool sounding aliens. Horrible main character but that's allright. OK ending. I want district 10!
  11. Hehe, it's an open ending. I got the idea walking home from university today. I really want to do one about Ultimae records and how their music is full of "moaning women" as described by someone on this forum. Without crossing the line....
  12. I remember hallucinogen writing as a side-note last year when he wanted votes that the contest is a technicality, but it does actually give a lot of PR and booking benefits.

  20. Shpongle - Are You Shpongled, everything from Solar Fields, both Carbon Based Lifeforms albums, H.U.V.A. Network - Distances There's just so much, but starting out with these gems is essential, and you won't be dissapointed. By far the most talented people in our world of Ambient / Downtempo. If you liked Leaving Home, you will LOVE "Movements", and "Distances". From the trance world I'm sure you know the name of Simon Posford, we even have / had? a smiley icon at this forum named :"posford": ( :posford: ). Check out the non-trance projects he's involved in, such as Celtic Cross - (Hicksville) Younger Brother - (A flock of bleeps) Shpongle The Mystery of the Yeti - now that's a Journey... just check this excerpt out. It's from The Mystery of the yeti 2 - Hallucinogen - "The Herb Garden" The Herb Garden is the most psychedelic track ever, ever made.
