  1. What he said...definitly. Now for the other 4 albums I don't really want to pick any. I remember their first EP Opiate was louder than a bomb when it was released in 1992. If you don't have it already then go buy it: Sweat, Hush ,Part of me, Cold & Ugly, Jerk-off, Opiate are classic Tool songs. Through the years I've always enjoyed their latest offerings. Every new Tool release is like some sort of Shamanic ritual for me, definitely more than music, a bigger than live experience!!! and remember kids: two weeners for daddy an one iced pee for me
  2. Saw them last year performing and they were... badasses setting the record straight. Afterwards played synSUN whom were good(just bought their two reissues from Phototropic which aaarrre awesome!!) then followed by Koxbox...no words just aaaAAAAYEAAAAHHH!!!
  3. I hope he is gonna save them up for the album which is possible because he didn't release that much the last few years. It's gonna be a breeze of fresh air when he release his album. The MAN is inimitable!!!
  4. Then why are some record company's releasing reissues like for instance Transdimensional by Dimension 5(Suntrip), Dragon tales by Koxbox(Inpsyde), Lost in time by Zirrex(Hado records),...because it's pointless from a business perspective??? It's not because the old schoolers have all the classic albums that there is no market for it. If you haven't had the opportunity to buy these albums when they were originally released like me than these reissues are Godsend. Or maybe you just don't care ...O... I have the album then it's pointless to do a reissue...come on!!!
  5. Very interesting! Lim ed as a salestrick. I'm gonna think twice before purchasing a lim ed cd in the future
  6. Pointless??? I disagree! Why is it that some record company's are releasing reissues of classics of the 90's. Because they love the music and want to offer a decent cd release to us , the buyers. Downloads are good but it never beats a genuine cd release which is affordable. I hope they are gonna release a lot more of these reissues in the near future!
  7. Get yourself a visa card I get your drift, I've been collecting since 2003 and I've managed to get 3 pre 2000 releases besides the reissues from DAT, Inpsyde and Avatar. But I think with the resurgence of Goatrance there will be more in the near future at least, I hope. For now I download as much as I can find(and pay for it BTW) of the older releases and when I find the opportunity to buy the CD for a reasonable price I'll buy it. It's the next best thing.
  8. 78...is the reason why cute little Asian girls are blinking at me
  9. I decided to do the mix all over again after a personal message I've received (thank you PRS!). The mixes are indeed sometimes too abrupt and not enough fluently mixed. So it's back to the basement for me Sometimes you need a little push to get you started properly. So if you do decide to download the mix I suggest to wait a little longer. I will post it as soon as it's finished. I will provide it with a download link where you can listen to it before you decide to download it Goodbye for now... P&L
  10. He is gonna bitchslap all you cybergangsta's
  11. This really is good stuff people. Why can't I hear this kinda floating ,driving and psychedelic fullon more at party's? Anyone ??? OK sometimes one or two tracks but then it's just business as usual and no I don't hate the more melodic (nor the darker) side of fullon but come on there is more behind the horizon! It doesn't have to be bang in your face the whole time. SUBTLETY IS A VIRTUE!! Two thumbs up for PRS and his excellent tracks and mixing (I still have to learn a lot I realised)
  12. 70...is as uplifting as it is down to earth 71...is a state where minds converge 72...is travelling without moving
  13. I think that feeling is personal and depends on taste BUT you should check out my tracklist (Dj Treyu) in the Dj Promotion area of the forum. Tracks like No left turn unstoned (Pogo & Lucas); Morning Glory (AMD); Tumbleweed (Circuit Breakers) amongst others really are doing the trick for me. Check it!
  14. This got Chinese Democracy written all over it...Are they planning to break the record? A free coke(don't like pepsi) when it's finished next year?
  15. Lifeforms: Hydrophonic garden California Sunshine: Dark side of the brain
  16. HIBERNATION: Some things never change (Aleph zero rec)
  17. How long have they been making making music? For like 20 years now: you can't blame them for doing other things or just take time off. They are not Astral Projection whom are touring almost constantly. Only Martin knows when his album will be good enough to be released. I'm sure I will buy it. By the way does anybody know if he has released other tracks than the 3 I've mentioned before the last few years?
  18. He hasn't even updated his website, it's still the backdrop of his last albumcover. Hate it when that happens, no news nothing! But he's still producing and playing live so that's good to know...would love to see him live again, last time was 2001. I hope the suntrip boys/girls are gonna book him in the near future. By the way, this a polite request!
  19. He has released 3 tracks on TIP world the last years that I know of. 2 tracks on Future Sound Masters 1 track on Imagi:nations (day) I've started my mix(Dj Treyu) with String Theory, a typical floating MWNM track. You still haven't downloaded it?!?
  20. You can download Astral's track Humans will play for robots at beatport alongside other remixes and tracks...just great!!
  21. First of all thank you for showing intrest.. I must tell you that the mix isn't perfect concerning the sound ,there are some cracking sounds in one song in particular :Lucas vs Pogo No left turn unstoned because my incoming volume was set a bit too high,I've just noticed it while I was listening to the mix at high volume. There is also one tiny little mixing mistake I overlooked but that's up to you to find out (or maybe even more who knows). I've put a lot of work in this mix by handpicking the tracks, removing them, try other tracks and at the same time improving my skills so it's great someone shows interest. Peace and Love
  22. The Psytrance Goa Monster is gonna take all you infadels to a psygathering in hell. There you will be tortured and get punished in the worst way: you'll have to listen to the subgenre you hate the most(Yes He reads this cancerous thread!) Then He will cast some old Voodoo spell upon you from way back when tribal-trance rituals were performed to cast off demons. You all will wake up without knowing what happened but with a difference: when some nitwit tries to communicate with you while using the word SCENE referring to a group of people you will not have a clue! AAHHH... FREEDOM...FREEDOM AT LAST!!!
  23. 53...is there for those who don't understand...What is it all about?...Playing mindgames with myself...Next stop ...OBLIVION!!!
  24. Hi folks, I'm back with the tracklist but first let me tell you something more about myself. I started going to goa party's in Belgium back in '98 which were mostly Dance-a-Delic party's and fell in love with the oldskool Goatrance which was back then obviously called Goa.From that day on things started changing, for better or for worse I'll leave that up to you, and now I find myself listening to everything that sounds interesting to me wether it's prog/melodic fullon/psychedelic fullon/forest/old(new) skool/...I try when it comes to music in general to keep an open mind for anything that comes my way(this is the part where the acid pays off). Now concerning the mix is it fullon ...Yes it is fullon.I call it psychedelic fullon with hints from different subgenres out there. Some veterans of the Goa scene will show up in the mix you'll see: 1 MAN WITH NO NAME: String theory 2 PROMETHEUS + LUCAS: Nerve Centre 3 LOGIC BOMB; Rascar Capac 4 LAUGHING BUDDHA: Lightning Games 5 APHID MOON + LUCAS: Skyflower 6 LUCAS + POGO: No left turn unstoned 7 LAUGHING BUDDHA + LUCAS: Binary Bonanza 8 APHID MOON: Psydoc LAUGHING BUDDHA + POGO: Brains 9 AMD: Morning Glory 10CIRCUIT BREAKERS: Tumbleweed 11APHID MOON + LOGICA: Loom 12LUCAS + APHID MOON: Magalif 13THE PLEIADIANS: War of the worlds 14SPACE TRIBE + LAUGHING BUDDHA: Atom bomb 15APHID MOON: Hyperdimention If you don't dig these names stay away from it!! If you decide to download it have fun!! Be curious! Peace and love PS I won't reply to any oldskool uberbaba BS!
  25. Thanx for the advice ,I've tried rapidshare but my mix is over 200Mb so I'll have to compress it. In the meanwhile I'm gonna post the tracklist but first I'm gonna eat. By the way this forum is mainly old(new)skool oriented and my mix is fullon. If only 1/1000 downloads my mix I'll be happy.
