  1. Many congrats to all you New-school artists and labels for keeping the old Goa vibe alive! I'm trying to read the article but even when I enlarge it, it remains unreadable.
  2. I looked at Psyshop for Ishq but they're all sold out. I've ordered Entheogenic Golden Cap album instead. Whent to Saiko Sounds to look for an Ishq album but I have a problem loggin in there. I forgot my password so I let them send me an email except the email somehow doesn't reach me. Can anyone help me with this?
  3. Who am I to question anyone's taste. I just don't like people judging him as if he were a has-been by saying what he should or shouldn't do. Did you dance right in front of the stage or were you at the back tapping your foot? It's a big difference.
  4. I've got one track of Ishq from the excellent album Quality Relaxation from Chill tribe. Very good flow through the whole record. From downbeat to ambient to downbeat again. I have played this one a lot. I should check out an Ishq artist album.
  5. First one I don't know, the second one is Dj shadow and Cut Chemist. I have 2 albums of Dj Shadow "Endtroducing" and "The private Press" whom I like very much. Haven't thought of Dj shadow to study with but now you mentioned it , it has those repetitive trancey-like parts and not too many voices to distract you. I'm gonna check both out, thanx
  6. Hi guys, I don't know this is the right place for the topic but it's psy-related imo. I've just started studies to become an environmental manager. It deals with all sorts of pollution in the air, water and soil and with the legislation that comes with it. Very interesting! It means lots of time behind the books studying. Normally I study without music but sometimes I put music on that doesn't intrude my concentration and sometimes even enhance it. I've noticed ultimae albums like CELL, CBL, HUVA network are good records to study with. Probably because of the slow, somewhat minimal, ambient approach. I know it's a pretty goofy topic but I would like to know your thoughts on this. Any suggestions? NOTE: It doesn't have to be psybient(classical music,...) just good music!
  7. Skazi the great performer, makes me...think about Infected Mushroom I did see swirling tits though I still don't get it...drama???. The guy wants to involve his fans, it wasn't even his idea, and yet some people are getting suspicious about the man's ego. Leave the guy alone, hopefully he makes a bang on album and by doing so light a fire under our asses. AMEN
  8. Come on d2kx, an AP fan like you has to be there, I'll even buy you a beer.
  9. Looking forward to finally meet you Skytrancer
  10. Who in Godsford name is Skazi??? Since when is forming an opinion or a comment drama...are you the drama-regulator? Don't take it all too serious man ...I know I don't
  11. Pretty much what he said. To all you Simon Posford bashers: go see him live get to the front of the stage and see what he still is capable of doing: turning the crowd in to a frenzy. Then fall to your knees and ask Him for forgiveness so you still can get into psyheaven.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised. Anyways, is anyone of you here on psynews gonna go see AP in Antwerp the 27th of august, this friday? I hope I'm gonna be able to ask them about the new album.
  13. To help people recover from diseases like depression, schizophrenia,...LSD was used in psychiatric institutions even before Timothy Leary started his experiments if I'm not mistaken. A few years ago I read an article of an experiment with MDMA, combined with therapy, to help cure depression. They were pretty positive about the experiment to say the least. But these are all alternative methods and won't be well accepted. The day they will sell MDMA in a pharmacy near you will not be tomorrow I guess.
  14. Thanx Snapino for the info!
  15. The thing I need to get of my chest after quickly reading this thread: Has Britney started wearing underwear again?...or not?
  16. Playing around like kids with big toys...love it! And always with humour, no ego...would love to be a fly in that studio. Raja even had the god particle theory converted in to chords ...or is he serious
  17. I'm gonna check this one out. I'm intriged by the fact that most of the more popular illegal drugs like LSD and MDMA once were legal and designed to help people in recovering from their disease. Pretty obvious why the American Government made such a big deal out of it: They (still) don't want anyone to think out of the box: Certainly not influencial people like doctors, writers,...
  18. I've some tracks of Eat Static. It's a band I actually like to dig into a litlle deeper. I actually want to buy an Eat Static full length album. Any suggestions? a must have?

    Inception

You used David Lynch and blockbuster in the same quote. This is intolerable...
  20. Let's get back speaking about the music before we chop each others heads off...shall we? I've mentioned earlier I saw Koxbox live in october 2009 and I was blown away, I've danced like never before and the crowd was going wild. I had heard of Koxbox before, bought the U-Turn album which isn't that bad as some of you claim imo, but I hadn't heard much of his older stuff from way back. It was that concert that made me buy Dragon Tales and The Great Unknown as it was an old school set mixed with some newer material...I guess: when I'm dancing I don't think about what song is playing...It was funky, the basslines were all over the place and it was rrreaAAaly psychedelic. I was wondering if anybody here was there with me last year in Hasselt (Ethias Arena) and had that same experience or the opposite for all I care. Koxbox played with AP and SYNsun. Now the music: 1. not bad you can definitly hear the Koxbox approach 2. very cheesy baseline indeed, I'm starting to think he did this on purpose...prankster...give us the actual baseline Frank'e common!!! 3. The promo tracks aren't that bad, two of them came from the U-turn album. I hope there is gonna be a release soon. Koxbox 's music is made to put the dancefloor into a manic frenzy trust me...I know!
  21. 10.10.10 what a nice release date! but is it for real??? I have seen no release date on the website or on myspace.
  22. Haven't heard it yet but it seems to me a lot of melodic fullon artists want to make clubtrance like Yahel, Astrix or Protoculture. The problem is the production is too clean and therefore not as interesting as some of my fav clubtrance acts .
  23. The links you've brought up are interesting to read, wether you've read the book or not. Fiction is fiction but the way he seems to throw around inacurate facts is pretty mindblowing. I am far from being an intellectual so you could fool me once or twice but shouldn't he be double checking these facts. He's creating food for confusion instead of food for thought.
  24. I just had a quick look on discogs and it seems they fixed the tracklisting. It should be OK now except for the length of the tracks which are still scrambled.
  25. That's exactly the same tracklist as it appears on my CD. I guess it's the right one
