  1. I like deep house, though 'deep' is something rare... and I like it subtle. I came across DJ Sprinkles - Midtown 120 Blues (2009) Mule Musiq Highly recommended. Discogs rating: 4.94/5 (51 votes). Apart from that, couldn't find anything interesting, there may exist some 12's though... but I'm into albums
  2. That's the best news in a while. Congrats, Emmanuel! =)
  3. I enjoyed lately VA - Tectonic Plates 2 (CD2 is mixed) Martyn - Great Lengths

    Yagya - Rigning

Evan Marc and Steve Hillage - Dreamtime Submersible I've listened to Yagya in pair with this - works well and the quality is perhaps even higher
  5. I asked them about Ensueno upbeat mix that was featured at Hyzer's myspace and later released on Vibrasphere's album, they said (literally) I wonder what they are doing now... seems like house-electro-minimal trend is over (or is it not? not tracking releases these days). It would be interesting to hear Hyzer and Fiord
  6. The Field is great and it's not repetitive, it's hypnotic

    Yagya - Rigning

Yep. Waiting for grey autumn rainy days to give it a few more spins
  8. I'd get myself E-Mu 0202 USB, but it depends on how and with what equiptment you are going to use it?
  9. Unlike you, I don't listen to IM so can't even image what kind of synths you are talig about. I don't mind any synths, samples, singing or whatever in this album... and girls just love it. What else would I have needed this spring? )
  10. It's great, actually. Junior album was the soundtrack for spring '09
  11. I used to like Steve Lawler's "Lights Out" series released by Global Underground.
  12. Yep, checked his site few days ago and there it was... looking forward
  13. About 8 years ago I was into dnb since then I haven't got a clue of what's going on there. I'd like to get recommendations of modern atmospheric d'n'b albums and compilations or some other lighter/deeper/chillier side of d'n'b.
  14. It's a matter of taste. His music needs a special mood and timing, then it works well.
  15. It doesn't really have to make any sense to you, but it does to me. And yes, I'm taking about sub-genres, not describing "energetic". You might prove me wrong and I might discover some interesting albums, just name a few that aren't examples of this trend. I loved suomi, I'm still listening to some older stuff but the newer doesn't appeal to me and there must be a reason for that. What I have noticed, is that their sound has changed, it has moved towards "full on" - more predictable and straightforward, similar sounds, etc. and if you extrapolate there might be some 1-2 minute breaks in future. That is why I don't enjoy this kind of music now (new albums, compils). This is what I feel, this is my personal opinion and once again this doesn't exactly have to make any sense to someone, but I know I constantly meet people sharing same thoughts about modern suomi.
  16. No, really... they have all taken fullonish road, kiwa has taken proggy one. Any new release isn't half it used to be, so I'm listening to older releases and fresh stuff doesn't appeal.
  17. I found illegal lossless so it must be available somewhere. The question is where?
  18. Stopped enjoying suomi about 2 years ago, it sounds more full on now.
  19. His style is probably more enjoyable, but this particular release is very interesting in my opinion and in the same class as other somnia albums. It needs more listens from everyone and judgement only after that Thanks for Six Silicates from me too
