Use the CUE button. start the second track on the beat at the same time a phrase begins in the first track. helps when you're finding the right speed, and when you're mixing.

i can email you the tracklist, or what much of it I can reconstruct. it's mostly lighter-side of psychedelia, i try not to cheese out too much.

only works if the CD players use +- 10% pitch (pioneer cdjs for example) and the bpm of the track is around 142-146. At higher and lower bpm's it won't work as well, same with CD players that use +-6% or 12% pitch bend. but usually it's close enough.. also there are quite a few tracks that aren't set on an exact bpm, though the majority of modern full-on psy is at 144 or 145 bpm.

eh, I think he was saying he doesn't like your album because it's not very good, not because it's dark. and I agree with him. I just don't find it very psychedelic. It's too much power, not enough tweak for me. Then again I don't like any of the recent 'power dark' psy like Azax or Seroxat, any of that crap. so sue me. as to full-on, try the recent Orion release, it's decent. also, v/a Tribal Maker is pretty good. Artax album is nice. some other comps i can't remember right now.

not true. I like and listen to a lot of different styles of music. I'm talking about good music, that is, not 'gaytrance'. of course all the recent yahel, hypersonic, and most cheesy full-on is in that category, so don't worry, Tiesto isn't lonely.

I really like a couple of tracks on the album. Really, really like. rest of them are good also, just not as good. hehe.

I think it's the best track on Apsara. this is IMO.

nah, I just like pushing DARK stuff on all the little nu-skool goa angels.

it's a good dark groovy album - around 143 bpm, so a bit slower. but still quality stuff.

V/A Boldly Audio is excellent, along with Moon Unit, V/A Multiple Personalities has some awesome tracks, Ocelot is good, Para Halu is okay, v/a Karmageddon and Alien FM have some amazing tracks. Mushy Mystery is okay, but overrated. Don't really like much from Nabi records, but that's just me. I didnt like Psyfactor album at all. Too much of power psy, not very psychedelic, IMO. Derango, Penta, Ghreg on Earth, Fractal Cowboys albums coming up new MoE v/a is looking top notch new Trishula comp, hope they don't go too much for that power dark crap. Schlabbaduerst 7 is out. new Vertigo and Dejavu comps also.

unfortunately the production of the new album is AWFUL. It has some nice sounds, but is basically unplayable on a sound system.
